"This is Earth"
The night was thick with betrayal . The day had started well ,as the royal family was having dinner together for the first time. But everything changed drastically.
The scent of blood clung in the air , the two brothers Aven and Cyrus crouched behind the tapestry ,with bloodshot eyes filled horror. As they saw shadows moving and torches painting their parents chamber.
Their father the alpha King was down on his knees ,side by side with his wife on the marble floor .With Palace soldiers holding their swords standing in every corner.
His younger brother Lord Alexander stood over the fallen monarch ,with a wicked smile twisting his lips. The throne room echoed with the king's painful breaths.
"Brother I hate to do this, but I have no option .You pushed me to the edge" .Alexander said looking at his brother.
"The throne is mine". Lord Alexander hissed ,his eyes aflame with ambition."no one will stand in my way. I will kill everyone close to you ,even your trusted servants and none of your sons will ascend the throne for as long as I live"
"Orion take all their power and add to me, so that I can rule this Kingdom with unwavering power". Lord Alexander said with a sly smile.
Orion the wizard stood in front of the Alpha King and his wife,with stretched arms, chanting the soul drain spell. But only got the shock of his life when he realized that the king and queen had no power left ....
"My Lord,they have no power left ,it's like someone drained it out of them"... Orion whispered...
"Impossible...where did you store your power Andrew answer me?". Lord Alexander said with so much furry.
" You can never have it !". King Andrew replied boldly. Triggering Lord Alexander's anger.
"Behead them and give their bodies to the pigs, find their children and cut them into pieces !".Lord Alexandra commanded.
Two palace soldiers came forward ,with sharp swords ..mercilesely beheading them ,as heads scattered on the floor with blood gashing everywhere , painting the throne room red.
All this was in the eyes of the two brothers. Gently dragging the little brother to escape before the soldiers could find them. "We have to go Cyrus". The older brother said while pulling on his arm as they ran towards the forest.
Aven clenched his fists ,with rage boiling within him as they ran. Their parents had trusted Alexander, believing him loyal. But now the truth had been laid bare - the throne had driven him to madness.
Cyrus's grip tightened on the hilt of his sword . "We can't let him take it brother". He whispered with a breaking voice . "We have to avenge our parents Aven".
" We will when the time is right ,we have to go ". Aven said . As they turned to run in another direction, palace soldiers stood in front of them.
With the little wolf strength in them ,they lunged at the guards , flanking their claws and sword at the soldiers.
Aven bravely taking the sword from the dead soldier he killed , he stood back to back with his brother. Steel clashed against steel , the forest erupted into chaos .
Aven's blade sliced through armor,while Cyrus's agility allowed him to dodge blows , although he got sword cuts on his arms .
Blood sprayed as the two brothers fought with furry . Lord Alexander staggered back ,when he was almost knocked out by the power emitting from the two brothers ,as shock was written all over his face.
"Traitors". He spat , summoning dark magic together with his sorcerer Orion.
Aven and Cyrus felt the air thickening ,with tendrils of malevolence around their limbs . Cyrus hauled the spiritual artifact - the bronze medallion towards the oak trees. With the bronze medallion knocking down trees ,as reality fractured.
Aven and Cyrus were pulled into a vortexof light ,their screams lost in the whirlwind . Stars blurred as they....

Crashed onto the ground. The alty sprawled before them. It's skyscrapers reaching for thr heavens. Neon signs flickering as the scent of exhaust mingled with the lingering magic .
Cyrus tried to push himself to stand up but failed . "Where are we?". He gasped, feeling the most excruciating pain .
Aven's eyes widened . " Not our realm ", he replied. "This is Earth"...
The brothers exchanged glances . Their parents had sacrificed to put all their power in the artifact, so that they can be able to transport them across dimensions. Away from the -blood -soaked Alpha kingdom. But what awaited them here?.
They were injured, failing to stand up ,they just whimpered with their bodies covered with bleeding cuts . When a car stopped right Infront of them.
Two women dressed in a strange manner came towards them . "Are you guys okay?". The older lady asked while kneeling to check how badly hurt they were.
"Mom they are hurt ,let's take them to the hospital. They are bleeding". The young lady said.
The mother and daughter took the two brothers to the hospital, leaving the doctors to do their ,before leaving they kindly paid the bills and left ,the two brothers were going to contact their family when they get better .
The days that followed ,the young lady kept remembering the traumatic scene those two brothers were in . Why were they hurt like that ?, why were they dressed like ancient people? , A normal human being wouldn't have survived after bleeding that much . Who are they ?...
