Chapter 28 Part II: Childhood

A hand from Benita slams a pile of tickets on the glass showcasing: sweets and toys.

The Arcade Worker raised a brow to Benita, gazing; seriously at him.

"I need you to count them. Lives are at stake." The worker grins.

"Saving the world takes winning tickets every step of the way." He retorted, taking the tickets.

Will stood a shoulder by Gwen, watching Benita wait for the tickets to be counted.

"So. Would you like to tell me what happened with you two earlier?" Gwen questioned as they never made eye contact with one another.

"I was teaching her to work for it." Will states. "For a girl that tries to push past her limits, it's shocking."

"Huh. Glad you two are rewarded for honest work." The boy turned to her frowning his brows.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Gwen remained quiet. Will stared away, glaring. Benita looks over her shoulder while Gwen and Will grin at her, lightly waving. "We can talk about this later."

Gwen remained quiet in response as the Arcade worker approached Benita. Will stood by Benita's side.

"You have a thousand tickets." The arcade worker mentions.

"I would like this. This. And maybe that. Don't be shy." Benita points to the candies the arcade worker picked.

"You know eating that much could rot your teeth." Will states.

"I know, dad." Benita groans rolling her eyes. "I promise not to eat so much. Oh! The ring of power! I want it!"

"Alright, you got fifty left." The Arcade worker mentions setting a wrapper of a candy ring on the showcase glass that Benita is opening.

She sucks on the ring, gazing at the display before she taps her finger on the glass. The worker pulls out a multi-color pen before handing it to Benita.

The girl turned to her friend by her side.

"Here."

"What's this for?" Will questioned.

"Dude, your pencil is shorter than my thumb."

"I'm not. Sure, how I feel about pens. Nonetheless, a multi-colored one."

"Your drawings are great! How about touching them up."

"If you don't mind, me prying." The worker adds, leaning on the showcase. "A friend of mine is an artist like yourself. He was against pens until He created a draft comparison to his old work. I say the new one really pops out."

The boy looks at the pen before grabbing it with a sigh.

"Alright. Thanks." Benita smirks as they notice Sunny approaching them. "Let's get out here."

The children exited the Arcade before standing on the boardwalk once more.

"What's next?" Benita questioned, sucking on her candy ring.

"The sun is still out, so let's keep exploring." They begin pacing themselves.

"Have you come in contact with your dad?" Will remained quiet. "Give him a call. He's worried about you."

"I will." He noticed Benita walking a shoulder length from him.

"Grandpa could only give so much." Benita sighs. "Just..give him a call, ok?" Will continue to remain silent. He noticed her looking back at Gwen and Sunny before staring ahead.

The boy's eyes land on the sign ahead of them stating Funland.

"Anyone up for a little fun?" Will voiced.

"Please don't." Sunny strikes up, walking past the boy and Benita.

Benita looked at the boy nudging her shoulder while eyeing Sunny walking away.

"Don't tell me I have to." She sighs.

"For me." Will grin. "Plus, I would like to make up for some: lost time." Benita groans before following Sunny leaving the boy and Gwen. "You ready?" The boy looked back at Gwen, avoiding his gaze. "Come on."

Will approached her, grabbing her hand.

"Hey!" She blushed.

"Stop this." The boy's brown eye stared into her green. "Come on, let's have fun." He led her by hand as they walked past the crowd of people. His eye wanders past the faces before eyeing one of the attractions.

A loud bang fills the sky while Will jumps to the sound.

"Go! Ha! Ha!" A teen girl laughed while her friend began firing from an air-pumped rifle toward the pyramid stack cups.

"Hey." The boy felt Gwen press her hand on his shoulder. Her face is inches from his. "Your eye." She whispered.

The boy bounces to his feet before closing his taken eye.

Gwen grasps her hand on his.

"Hey!" Will exclaimed while She begins pulling him down the broadway of attractions.

He noticed them heading to a short line of people going to a teacup ride.

"Ha! Ha! Get in! Get in!" The smiling Attendee chirped. "Remember to keep all hands within the ride." He shakes his head before shrugging. "You know what? Some rules are meant to be broken." Will and Gwen approached the metal gate getting his attention. "Hello there! Ten dollars to attend."

The boy reached into his pocket.

"Here you are." Gwen voiced.

"Nice doing business with you." He opened the gate for them, letting them in.

"I could've. Paid for that." Will suggested as they looked for a cup to get in.

"Can't I have this moment?" Gwen looked over her shoulder back at the boy, cocking a brow.

"Right. Sorry." They entered a cup away from the others.

"Don't be."

"Alrighty, folks! Let's get busy!" The smiling man raised his voice before pulling a lever.

The cups began rotating.

"So." Gwen strikes up, sitting across from Will. "What makes you tick?"

"Is that your starter question?" Will raised a brow while he noticed the cups rising from the boardwalk.

"Alright! Let me rephrase. How did you and my cousin meet exactly?"

"Three years back, We didn't start well. I eventually turn a new leaf."

"Yet, you seem distant. Through a three-year lifespan, you only know Ben on a surface level. Why is that?"

"I-" Will bites his lip before avoiding her gaze. "I saw her as Kat."

The boy felt her gaze burn through his head while voices of cheering filled the day.

Gwen sighs.

"Well. I forgive you." Will gazed back at Gwen. "But I'll remind you. She looks up to Grandpa and more on you. Because of you, her attachment is conflicted with the thought of you reaching out to her."

"Wait, hold on. You did your homework?"

"My dream is to become a Psychologist. I have a college set up on it, with so much happening. I'm not sure if that's possible."

"I guess with millions of individuals in our heads. It sparks your interest." Will leans back, folding his arms. "Thanks. For your support, without you, I don't know what we'll do." He sighs. "Do you have a cat? I mean, you have an interest in them." The boy looked up at Gwen with her mouth slightly agape. "Gwen?"

She blinks.

"Uh, yeah?"

"Do you have a cat?"

"Yeah...She goes by Rudy. She's a Birman."

"Could I see?"

"Sure." Gwen shakes her head before pulling out her flip phone. She presents the cat sleeping on her chest. "She's two years old."

"She looks like a ball of sunshine." The boy felt himself smirk.

"She cutest thing. Rudy like it when I touch her paws. She even goes out of her way to sleep with me. Not to mention, she tries to fit her little paws under the door." Gwen and Will chuckled.

"She's cute indeed. Do you have any other relatives?"

"There's my mom and dad. And my big brother Ken. They are good people when you get to know them. How are your parents?"

"Well, you can say they're separated." Gwen frowned her brows. "It's complicated, but they try to help each other when they can."

"Sorry."

The two noticed the ride slowly coming to a stop.

...

Walking down the boardwalk of attractions, Gwen points to the ice cream stand.

"Come on. My treat."

"You sure like spoiling me." Will voiced following after Gwen.

"What?" She grins. "Why can't you let this happen?"

"I heard about sugar mamas. And yet I never thought of experiencing this firsthand. "

"Shut up!" She chuckled lightly, pushing a smiling Will.

The ice cream man noticed their presence before placing his hands on the counter.

"What can I get for you?" He smirks.

"Strawberry wafer bowl. Please." Gwen answered before looking back to Will's gaze.

"Cookie and Cream wafer bowl." Will voiced while the Ice cream man leaves the counter.

In the corner of his eye, he noticed a boy with his parents and sister. A plushie of Benita's alien: Heatblast is in the sister's hand while Avalanche is in the brother's.

"It seems. The super buddies are getting popular." Will said to himself.

"Well, yeah. The buddies pop out of nowhere and save people. What do you expect?"

"I don't know."

"Here you two are." The ice cream man comes backhanding them their ice cream. "It's on the house."

"You don't have to." Will voiced.

"No. It's fine. Go before I change my mind." He smiled while Gwen and Will stood baffled.

"Thank you." The kids say before leaving.

"What a nice guy." Gwen voiced before eating her ice cream.

"Yeah." Will looked over his shoulder at the smiling ice cream man before staring at his ice cream.

"Hey, there's a good spot." Gwen points her spoon at the end of the boardwalk to a bench. "Come on." The boy followed Gwen before taking a seat beside her.

The calming waters filled their ears while the sun and the blue sky presented themselves in front of them.

"It's going to melt." Gwen voiced, getting his gaze. He stared back at the wafer in hand.

'It's fine.' Novis and Highroller reassured.

The boy slowly scooped the ice cream into his mouth.

"So, uh. Will?" Gwen gets his attention once more. "You love bikes?"

"Yeah, they're cool." He said under his breath.

"Because of the exterior?"

"That and I love the wind. Hitting my face." Will gently stabs his ice cream.

"Don't get a ticket now."

The boy lightly chuckled.

"I won't be going that fast. It's just-" Will leans against the bench. "Acree sold me on the idea. I felt great, you know?" The boy smiled. "I was hoping to ride along a cliffside during an afternoon. But a multi-color tunnel will do just fine. Thinking back on it. I want to do it again." He smiled at the calming waters. "I want it to last a little longer."

"Once you get one. I like to go for a ride." The boy looks at Gwen, smirking. "What? Can I have an interest?"

"No-I-I mean..." Gwen chuckled while Will looked away.

"I'm joking, but I'm serious about the offer. Besides, when you pick me up. We're going to have to leave. My mother would drag me off that bike faster than XLR8 at top speed."

The boy chuckled.

"Alright." Will smiled at Gwen. "That's a promise."

"It's a promise." Gwen raised her pinky, causing the boy to chuckle once more. "What? What's so funny?!"

"Nothing." He sighs before interlocking his pinky with hers. "It's a promise, G." Gwen smiled back. "Now, can we finish this?"

Will look down at his nearly melted ice cream.

"Right." He begins eating before Gwen swipes her finger on his neck.

"HA!" A cold sensation rolled down the boy's neck. He looked to smiling Gwen flashing her teeth. "That's it!"

"Ah!" Gwen shrieked, bouncing from her seat, followed by Will. They raced around the bench as she laughed and screamed. "Alright! Alright!" They stop with their seating in between them.

Will vaulted over the bench, causing Gwen to run down a few feet.

"Why are you running?!" The boy hugs her from behind, causing her to scream.

"Stop! I'm joking!" Will swipes his cold, wet finger on the back of her neck. "Aaah!"

"Consequences of your actions." The boy cracked, letting her go.

Gwen wiped her neck with her hand.

"Alright. I deserved that." She chuckled.

"Aw, look at you two." A familiar voice gathered their attention to Sunny and Benita walking down the boardwalk towards them. "I think I feel a connection." Sunny comments.

"Yeah, It's called. Being genuine." Gwen remarked.

"Alright. Alright. Stop it, you two." Will voiced. "Let's not sour our experience."

Sunny rolled her eyes.

"You know what?" Gwen starts. "I want to get something out of my chest. I despise you."

"As someone smart as yourself, you lack common sense." Sunny remarked.

"Girls. Stop." Will said firmly.

Gwen shakes her head before glaring up at Sunny with her pupils shimmering pink.

"I'm trying." She paused, brushing her hair with her fingers. "I'm trying to see what he sees in you! But all I see is a self-center brat!"

"I've found who you are. One word. Cunt." Sunny folded her arms.

"At least this cunt has her life in order." Sunny pupils shimmered while Will stood in between the two.

"Guys, can we just-"

"Shut it! Quiet Ben!" Sunny and Gwen yelled at Benita. That only stepped back.

"What makes you think you can show up?! And put everyone in danger!" Gwen raised her voice.

"I said my peace." Sunny squinted her eyes.

"Peace! My ass!!"

"Sunny." Will places his hand on her shoulder, but she only ignores him. "Sun!" Sunny gazes at the boy.

"Just how close are you?!" The boy looked over his shoulder at Gwen, clenching her teeth. "We're leaving. Come on, Ben." Gwen grabs Will hand.

"Wait! Hold on." The boy called while they moved past Sunny.

"He has legs." Sunny voiced.

They paced down. The boardwalk before standing in front of an empty Farris wheel.

"Will. If you need to go somewhere. Ben and Grandpa is your only option." Gwen demanded.

"Hold on, can we least hear her out?" Will suggested.

"No. And that's my final answer."

"Gwen."

"NO!" She roared while her pink pupils grew brighter. "Listen to me, An! She's not your responsibility!" Gwen shouts, pointing in Will's face. "Why don't you get it in your thick skull?!" She roared in his face while he remained unfazed.

The boy remained quiet as Gwen closed her shaking hand and eyes.

"I'm sorry." She bites her lip before speed-walking away.

Will watched Gwen enter a porta-potty.

"Y-you alright?" Benita stuttered. "W-Will?"

"Yes." The boy shakes his head. "Yeah, I'm alright."

"She's getting worst. I tried to ask Grandpa. About it, but he can't say."

"It's an inheritance."

"What?"

"Inheritance." The boy said again. "Someone in your family is a full-blood. It's not your grandpa: it could be your parents. Or-" In the corner of his eye, Benita is clenching her shirt. "Benita!"

The boy reluctantly places his hands on her shoulders while Benita becomes short of breath.

"Breath. Ben." Will said calmly. "Look at me." He places his hands on her face. They kept eye contact. "Breath with me." The boy gave her a sample while she followed along. "That's it."

They continued until she regained her breath.

"You good?" He questioned while she shook her head. "Let's get back to RV." Benita looked over his shoulder before her eyes touched her skull.

"Don't move." She whispered while he frowned his brows.

"What is it?"

"Friend or-Oh crap..we got a curious one."

"Ben."

"Ssh!" Something sniffed above him while his hair flattered smoothly. It grunts while Will holds his breath. It continued, sniffing before hearing it run away. "It's gone."

The boy began breathing again. He looked over his shoulder at the empty Farris wheel, his heart beating out of his chest.

"What was that?" He said under his breath.

"A pink lion." The boy looked at Benita, staring at the Ferris wheel. "And not a normal one." They hear a door open and see Gwen exiting the porta-potty.

"Oh, uh." Gwen stared from their gaze. "Thanks for waiting for me."

"It's no problem." The boy said, looking away. "I think we had enough for one day."

"But." Benita voiced before shaking her head. "Nevermind."

"You trying to say something?"

"No, Let's get back to the RV. It's going to be dark soon." Benita clenched her arcade bag in her hand before walking past Will.

---

The three arrived back at the RV while the warm light showered the environment. Benita opened the door while Gwen entered, followed by Will.

"Hey, How was it?" Max voiced as the boy noticed him sitting in the booth reading a newspaper.

"It was. Fine." Benita states, walking to their sleeping Quarters. Will noticed a familiar face peaking from behind the booth.

Her head was following Benita entering the Quarters.

"Where's Sunny?" Max's gaze lands on Will.

"She wanted to stay out for a bit." Max squinted his brows. "She'll be back."

"Something happened."

Gwen sighs.

"It did."

"Come. Have a seat."

Will watched Gwen take a seat in front of Max.

The boy brushed his hair with his hand before following her.

He planted himself in the seat, watching Zed plants herself beside his feet.

"It's about. Sunny." Gwen informed. "She needs to go." Max remained quiet, keeping the same demeanor. "She's planting ideas in Will's head."

"Ideas?" Will taps his finger against the table, looking at Zed, looking up at him. "Anthony." The boy followed his voice to Max's keeping. Quiet.

"I-uh...We only talked." He looks away. "I'll say her delivery of being empathetic is a little rough, but I believe it's with good intentions."

"GOOD-"

"Gwen." Max cuts her off, and Gwen only looks out the window. Max looks back at the boy. "Your meaning?"

"This.." Will bites his lip before sighing. "This hex of mine." He looks up at Max. "She told me I shouldn't look at it like that." Max intertwines his fingers. "I mean. The more I keep pushing them away, the more I feel...empty." He shrugs his shoulders before leaning on his arms. "I'm helping them gain their memories, but is that really helping us in the long run?"

"I think not." Will turned to Gwen staring at Max. "Sunny is our bane of his progress. This curse shouldn't be allowed to be amplified. Don't forget she's the one that lured him away from the camp and got us captured. That and the Forever-" Gwen cut herself off before clearing her throat. "That was strike one." Gwen looks up from the table at Max. "I don't want that to happen again."

"Anthony, Do you have any more you like to say?" Max questioned.

"I understand Gwen's point. I should keep an understanding of their history and possible leads to Rudea and not merge with them. But, with so much going on." Will clears his throat. "They helped me." His voice cracked. "Without Edge, Novis, Highroller, and the other voices." He sniffs. "I would've stayed on that floor." Will uses his shirt to wipe the tears pouring from his face. "I understand...that there might be some bad ones." Max stood to his feet, fetching the roll of paper towels. "But, they...I believe they deserved a second chance."

The boy felt Gwen's hand pat his back. She sighs.

"I understand" She clears her throat. "Those voices could be riling you up, using your emotions and experience for granted. And Sunny, saying this." Gwen leans on the table, with her clenched fists shaking. A fiery pink aura spills from her fists and soon her body. "I want her out." She demanded.

Max leans back, remaining quiet. Minutes passed before he spoke.

"You two have valid points. And I need time to think about this." His eyes kept to Gwen and Will's. "But I need everyone here. To come to a final decision."

"I-" Gwen cut herself off before growling silently.

"Benita. Come here." Max called. "Ben?"

Will lean from the booth eyeing the quarter. The boy stood to his feet while Zed gave him some space.

He walked into it, only to find the arcade bag, no one, and an opened window.

"She's gone." Will voiced.

"What?!" Gwen questioned.

He heard their hasting steps following after him.

"She used the window."

"Why did she leave?!"

"Maybe it was Sunny or-" Will's eyes widen before he begins pacing, brushing his hand against his hair. "Oh god."

"What?" Max questioned.

"Is it- is it because I forgot about her? I didn't hang out with her today!" Will turns back, brushing past Max and Gwen.

"Will!! Anthony!" Gwen and Max shouted while the boy rushed out of the RV.

The boy planted his shoes onto the cement before sprinting through the alley. He slowed to a stop on the boardwalk.

The stars were out, and the ghost town was now presented.

The boy's body vibrates before revealing Grid. He dashes along the boardwalk, gazing at every alley he passes.

Stopping in front of Funland.

"Ben?!" Grid shouts before dashing through the closed attractions. He reached the end of the walk gazing around the beach. "BEN!!"

Grid shifts to Zero before taking to the skies. Now above the city of the night. The necro snapped his vision around before noticing an abandoned warehouse outside town.

A bright light spills from the hole along the warehouse wall.

Zero glides towards it before settling on the green grass.

"Look at that! The newcomer is handling Gatorboy!" Someone announced from a mic. Zero stood between the hole in the wall seeing a ring. In it was Fourarms spinning from the hooks and strikes from a towering Gatorman. "Strong and Agile. This woman is built. Different!" Zero noticed the smiling attraction worker as an announcer.

Fourarms and Gatorboy grappled one another. Grunting their teeth. She pushes him onto the ropes before the Gatorboy pushes her back.

"Oh! Oh, what is this?! What does Porcupine have under his sleeves!" A man with hair as black spikes hanging to his back. Climbed into the ring, waving to the crowd. "NO, THEY DIDN'T! They gave him a chair!"

Porcupine approached Fourarms blindspot with a steel chair.

Zero shifts Red Riot rushing into the ring.

"Who's this?!" The announcer; raise his voice while Red Riot slides into the ring. "Oh, lord! It's Red Riot!"

The red teen punches Porcupine. Which blocks it with the chair, yet he flies off his feet and into the ropes. Before: crashing onto the white mat.

The small crowd cheered.

"What a save from a member of the Super Buddies!" Red Riot: took a quick glance at Four arms delivering a german suplex on Gator boy. "Ah! That gotta hurt!"

He glances back at Porcupine standing to his feet. Porcupine rushes Red Riot swinging a hook that the red teen ducks under.

Porcupine's handspring into the ropes before springing into a flying back elbow. The attack connects while Red Riot drops onto his back.

"Oh my god! It's an all-out brawl!" The ring shakes while Red riot rolls to his feet only to notice Porcupine jumping behind the ropes.

Red Riot quickly stomps onto the mat before delivering a superkick to Porcupine's jaw. "Ah!" The announcer screamed while Porcupine fell out of the ring stretched out. "Sweet dreams!"

Red Riot's eyes widened at Porcupine, only for green scaly arms to wrap around him. His whole world flipped upside down as he felt his shoulder clash onto the mat. "A sneaky move from Gatorboy."

Red Riot fell onto his face before Gatorboy lifted him over his head. "Oh no! Not that!"

"HAA!!" Red riot screams, swinging his arm about before feeling Gatorboy hurl him out of the ring. Someone caught him, and they crashed onto the floor. "Ugh!"

"Hey! Why did you follow me?!" Fourarms grunted, letting Red Riot climb out of her arms and onto the floor.

"I came here for you."

Red Riot whispered back on his hand and knees.

"Don't bother. And stop faking it! This is the real deal!"

"I'm just going by the previews." He said under his breath while the two stood to their feet.

"He's, coming off the top rope!" The announcer states as Gatorboy flies toward the alien children.

Red Riot rolls out of harm's way while Fourarms catches Gatorboy within her grasp. She grunts before slamming him onto the cement, leaving a web of cracks.

The crowd cringed.

Red Riot rolls against the wall seeing black needle-like spikes taking his previous; place. Instinctively he blocks the attack from hitting his face before ripping the quills from his arm.

Numbness races along his arm before it hangs. His vision began to spin while he dropped to a knee using the wall as support.

The Porcupine leans on the ring post while watching Red Riot fall on his butt. The wrestler limps toward Fourarms, choke-slamming Gatorboy, drawing his arms past his head.

Fourarms looked over her shoulder, seeing her ally only to get hit by the quills. She stumbles before falling on her face.

"The hail fury! " The announcer shouts. "Porcupine forbidden technique! It's all over, folks!"

---

Benita opened the pushed door. Entering the night in front of the warehouse while the green light shines down on them

"Ben." Will followed, staring at Benita's back. "Penny."

"It's. Fine. An. I only wanted to give it a shot." Benita pocketed her hands.

"It's not about that. Look, I'm sorry. I've been so stupid-"

"You're not stupid." She looks over her shoulder before staring ahead.

"Do you want to do it again? I believe we can win this time."

"No." Benita comes to a halt before staring at the ground. "I-I need time. I want to be left alone."

"Ben."

"And I advised you to do the same. This was a mistake." Benita looks back at him. "It's not on you. It was never on you." She begins pacing toward darkness. "Go back. I'll see you back at the RV." She entered it while Will remained quiet.

He rubs the bridge of his nose, trying to steady his shaken breath and hand.

"I'm sorry." A familiar voice called out. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

"Sunny. I don't know what the hell: going on." He looks over his shoulder at Sunny just a few feet away. "Tell me. Are you fucking with me?" The boy glared.

"I'm not. Back at the Arcade." Sunny paused before growling. "Back at the Arcade. I didn't mean for that to happen."

"Why should I believe you?" The boy cocked his head. "You're smarter than that. That's what you told me, right?" Sunny avoids his eyes. "You've filled my head thinking that I should trust them!"

"I said to accept." Sunny stared back at him firmly. "You do. That you'll feel better in the long run."

"You say that while pushing Gwen's buttons? Ugh! I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE!" He turns his back. His vision grew purple. "In case you: wondering?! She's planning on giving you back to your grandma! Maybe then THIS SHIT WILL STOP!!"

The boy shifts Zero before taking to the skies, the necro pants releasing a hint of cold air between his fused teeth. He came to a stop hovering in front of Beach city.

"A-alright! C-calm down." Zero clenches his chest while closing his eyes. "BREATHE!!!" He growls while his hand shooked.

The boy reopened his eyes to the beach. He glided down to it, embracing his three-toe feet within the sand. He sat on his butt, returning to Will.

Eyeing the crashing waves before him.

His phone vibrated, and he whipped it out.

Will Gwen

Where are you?!

You can't be out here by yourself!

He looks back at the waves: only to hear a crash. The boy stared at his crushed phone.

Will throws it across the beach.

The boy senses someone coming. He looked to his left at Zed, approaching him with her head lowered. His crushed phone between her jaws.

She drops it beside him, stepping back. The boy's purple vision vanished.

"Thank you." He said, grabbing his phone. His hand shifts to Update, repairing it. The boy's eyes switch between his phone and Zed.

Will stood to his feet with a grunt. Her red eyes up at him.

"Fetch." He tosses the phone across the beach. Zed only looked over her shoulder and back at him. "Go on. Get it." She looked over her shoulder, racing after it. Zed retrieve it. "Good girl!" The boy smirks, taking his phone while scratching behind her ears.

He hurls it again, giving her positive feedback. They continued until Will booked it down the beachside. He looked over his shoulder to a panting Zed chasing him.

"What are you gonna do?" Will came to a halt before juking her. He raced to the other side of the beach. The boy does it again, only to taste a face full of sand. "Ugh!" He desperately spits out sand while Zed approaches him. She began giving him kisses. "Ok. Ok! AH!! You lick my mouth!"

The boy sat on his butt, rubbing Zed's face. Before staring around the empty beach.

"Let's hope they're a pet shop around here. As much you like my phone, I need it." He smiled at panting Zed until her ears flared up. She turned her head from him. "Alright now, we're not doing this again."

Zed turned her back at the boy growling at the ocean. The boy quickly stood to his feet.

"What is it?" He said under his breath.

The sound of crashing waves filled the environment. The dark waters hid the potential threat well. The boy presses his finger and thumb together, eying the ocean.

Zed's growl grew louder while the boy bent his knees.

A figure emerges from the ocean floor. A giant wolf-like creature with horns and sand-orange skin. And red fur around its neck.

Towering the two from afar, it roared into the night sky while Will's body covered itself in rock before shifting Nova.

The creature rushes the duo with deadly speed. Nova smoke dashes from the giant wolf target pounce. He fired beams at it, only getting a glance from it.

"Shit!" He said under his breath while Zed only rushed it. "ZED!" He cried out, watching Zed leap over a paw swipe. She begins distracting it.

Nova shifts Highroller while his arms shifts into an assault rifle. He begins firing, landing some good hits on the creature.

The creature rushes him. Highroller continues firing.

The wolf creature grew dangerously close. Until The bot's shoulder rolled, dodging its grasp.

His arm shifts into a revolver, firing at its face causing it to flinch.

He does it again, only for the creature to dodge his shot. It circled Highroller before rushing the bot again.

The wolf creature tanks the attack causing the bot's eyes to widen.

A pink beam tackled the beast across the sand.

Alien Sunny floated by HighRoller's side.

"Thanks. For the save." Highroller states, keeping an eye on the creature standing on its fours. Zed leaps, landing on its head before distracting it once more.

"Praise me more." Sunny comments before stretching out her hand to the beast. A pink aura shoots out from her palm before engulfing the wolf creature. It roared as it rose to the sky.

A grunt slips out of Sunny while getting the attention of Highroller. She is biting her lip while her chest rises and falls.

"Sunny?" The bot looked back at the creature noticing a bright light between its nose eating away the night. He looks back at Sunny, biting her lip harder before she slips a breath. She creeps a smile while the creature forms into an object. "SUN! That's enough!"

HighRoller shifts Red Riot, tackling Sunny from the sky. They crashed into the sand. Sunny punches him across his jaw before clawing at him. Red Riot parries by grasping her wrists. Pinning her to the ground.

"It's over!" Red riot raised his voice while Sunny kicked her feet about. "SUNNY!!"

"You're so handsy!" She cried out, panting rapidly before glowing. Red Riot snaps his hand onto her face. Grey and blue ink consumed her.

She stopped kicking. Red Riot pants as he notices her small hand along his arm grow soft yet, remain. The ink retracts, revealing alien Sunny, panting with a hint of a smile on her face.

"I hope I didn't punch you too hard." She comments while Red Riot sighs before standing to his feet. A bright pink light blinds the red teen revealing Sunny in her human form.

Red Riot shifts back to Will. Pulling her to her feet, they noticed Zed standing her guard at the object from afar. They approached it, walking past Zed, that only followed.

Getting closer to it, a hint of light from the moon reflects it.

"Is that a gem?" Sunny squinted her eyes while Will cocked his head.

The boy leans in, getting a closer look, only to notice Sunny approaching it. He grabs her wrist.

"Uh.Uh."

"I can handle it!" The boy walked past Sunny before bending his knees, towering over the red gem. He gazed at the oval appearance.

"HEY!!" A dragged voice shouts ahead of them. The boy looks up to see a kid. Three women and a pink lion sprinted with him. "Stand back!"

Will stood to his feet as they finally arrived.

"Is everyone ok?" The kid questioned before going quiet. The four of them land on Will. The pink lion approaches, only for Zed to cut it off, giving a low growl.

"Look out!" A familiar voice shouts from above. A figure crashed, spreading sand everywhere.

"Haaa!" The kid and the slender woman: scream, patting the sand off them.

Blitzwolfer stood to her feet, eyeing everyone. Until her eyes remained glued to the shocking looks of the strangers.

"Someone! Please explain what's going on here!" The short girl raised her voice.

Rapid steps hitting the boardwalk gain their attention to Max and Gwen slowing to a stop.

A quick gasp filled the boy's ears as he noticed the slender woman grasping her mouth.
