All I could think of was... 'I'm a coward', as soon as those soldiers barged in I knew what would happen, my mom's gentle voice kept running in my head nonstop...

"It's alright Armin mom will be alright go and get us some bread for dinner."

I knew what would happen, I'm not stupid I could see those disgusting faces of the soldiers.

Right now I was screaming, looking for someone, anyone to help me but I knew no one would. In this world no one cares about righteousness or helping the weak, especially if they get nothing out of it, and I had nothing to give.

Ever since my father abandoned us our finances diminished to the point where Mother would be malnourished just to make sure I was full, another pang of guilt filled my heart and I screamed louder, of course, this resulted in people moving further away to avoid the crazy child screaming.

I stopped screaming and started sobbing as thoughts repeated themselves in my

mind: 'why, coward, kill, hate,...'

As I was thinking this I heard a whisper in my ear ..." show them pain"... It was soft but I know I heard it the voice was cruel...so cruel I got shivers down my spine, I opened my eyes to find the floor underneath me had a layer of ice, it spread around me for about a meter and came to abrupt stop it looked almost as if the ice was fighting the world's temperature as a small amount of mist formed around the edges.

I stood up, but soon fell right back down as all that could explain it was hell, pain... excruciating pain surrounded me inside and out I was freezing, my skin was burning, but not from heat, from the cold... it was so painful I couldn't keep my consciousness as I fell into a sleep trying to escape the pain...

Nulla Reviah was visiting a small village to resupply their carriages and to let the phiols (an extremely strong breed of maju horses) rest. As he approached one of the stalls he was thinking about how greedy the stall owner looked, when he heard a child screaming, he didn't think much of it at first and the screaming stopped. He was just about to walk away when he felt an abnormally cold maju presence, alerted he sprinted to where he felt the presence

As he reached the presence he saw a boy with dark hai- the boy's hair started changing colour it started from the roots, and slowly the entirety of his hair changed to a beautiful white.

'what the...' Nulla had seen plenty of things in his years as part of the nobility and an A-class maju, but not quite bizarre as this... The boy fell with a thud, Nulla grabbed an onlooker and asked as if he was interrogating the poor man:"Was this the child that was screaming?"

The woman in other words; Nulla's mother was shocked she didn't understand what happened, but as it hit her she started weeping, she knew she'd never see her precious child again, or so she thought...
