A lunch date - II

She had never been on a date with someone, she never knew except for Michael.

When it came to George, she knew exactly what to talk about and so did he. So they had ample topics they could touch on and never get bored of.

With Michael, it was getting to know him, his preferences and his everything. It was something her mother had trained her in but something told her that Adrian was not going to have her talking like this conversation is going to revolve around him only. He would catch onto it quickly.

"Why don't you tell me what you are thinking about?" He swirled the wine in his glass, before taking a small sip, all while keeping his eyes on her. It felt like it was a dare to her, like he wanted her to be around alcohol and check if she was going to pounce on it or not.

"I was wondering about.." maybe she should go ahead with it. "I was wondering about how frank I can be with you at the moment."
