Xavier….. a jerk

The plane landed and finally I was at the airport , I walked towards the exit but didn't find anyone who matched my foster father's description so I dialed his number immediately. He picked up on the first ring "Am sorry belle I couldn't get through to your line this morning so I guess you must be at the airport my driver bill was feeling sick so my eldest son Xavier is picking you up instead and he is already at the airport, just check the cardboard signs that your name is written on " he said and answered my questions at a goal . " okay Ryan thanks " I replied. I scanned through the room but I found no card boards with my name. I made a move to call Ryan but my eyes were caught by a cardboard and i saw the name Annabelle but my name was Isabelle . I walked up to the boy who looked like he was in his late teens , "hello are you perhaps mr Walton's son" I asked in a low voice trying to avoid any form of embarrassment and to my relief he only said "follow me " and I walked in two paces instead of my slow elegant pace as he was walking too fast for me to keep up . I angrily stopped in my tracks until he realized I wasn't following him anymore . He twitched his eye and said "you think this is some circus where you and your mother can just come and mess with our lives stand up while I am asking nicely you don't wanna know what am gonna do " I didn't feel threatened in fact I got more upset. He left me standing foolishly and got in his car. Zoom zoom … he drove off. I was rendered speech less as my eyes were already moistened with tears as I only stood there like an idiot.

I watched her through the side mirror , she didn't even make any attempt to follow my car or call dad . I knew that dad would send me back to receive her . I had no option but to pull over but the dumb girl didn't seem to notice. I then threw a paper bag at her and then she saw me . She eyed me angrily and walked towards the car . I decided to make a joke of her by locking all the doors from the inside making her pull at the door till passers by were eyeing her mysteriously . I finally unlocked the door and she sat in quietly. She looked very forlorn , it was then I realized the gravity of the words I said to her. The poor thing had just lost her mom and I was speaking ill of her it was just so un called for. I kept quiet all through the drive and was secretly peering at her beautiful almond eyes , her thick lashes fluttered from time to time . I couldn't help but Gaze down to her shirt and that was when I realized I was going too far. She seemed to have caught me so she gave me a warning look and mumbled something which look like " Xavier..a jerk "
