BELLADONNA: The Deadly Nightshade
01 – The Beginning
A man looked at the woman in front of him with disbelief.
His hands were slowly clenched on the side of the table, but no words came out of his mouth. If his eyes could speak, they seemed to be spitting out the words that were spinning in his head. But no, this time his tongue frozen out. His lips suddenly turned blue.
"Ara…" his voice caught in his throat, as if someone has stuck hot lead into him, he choked with a loud sound.
The woman who was standing in front of the large table was just staring at the man who was in pain.
She looks calm. Too calm. As if enjoying every minute of that man suffering.
His arm was flailing, he was gasping for life. Like a fish out of water, his lips turning blue and his face pale white. His mouth wide open, trying to draw air into his lungs, which now felt searing hot.
Slowly, the woman walked over and lowered her head so that she could hear the man's short breath, "Do not hesitate, Sir." She whispered sweetly in his ear, "everything will end …. Soon."
The man's eyes widened, his hand gripped the woman's arm, "A…ra…"
He was pleading but the woman jerked her arm away from the grip of the dying man, she looked at him in disgust.
"Hurry up and die, old man! You are useless anymore!"
Along with the sentence, the man's head collapsed onto the table with a loud thud. He was lying there lifeless with open wide eyed, there was horror mirrored in his eyes.
A satisfied smile adorned the woman's face, she looked down at the dead man's face and whispered, "Goodbye, Sir."
She grabbed the document on the table and left the place. Leaving the corpse of the man in the closed room.
The man's eyes were still wide open, a tear running down his face and falling into a picture.
A picture of a five years old girl, her hair was black and she smiling cheerfully.
"Ara…" he whispered in his last breath.
