Some Will Leave, Some Will Stay
David sneezed. He rubbed his nose. He didn't think he caught a cold. He put the phone away from his ear and finished dialing. Philip isn't answering, he must be busy, he thought disappointedly. Well, it's a shame, but it wasn't something he could do anything about.
He threw himself on the bed with his arms outstretched.
Maybe even better, he thought. It's good to have a friend with whom you can talk about anything, but sometimes there are things a man has to deal with alone. And the affairs of his heart and his love affairs were just such. So maybe it's better that he didn't get through to Philip.
David took a deep breath. He hoped that if Philip was with his girlfriend, this phone call didn't spoil their mood.
