Is he telling the truth

In the previous chapter, we read that Salman finally told Kamran that it was all about him, then he asked:

Kamran: What! but how? are you an evil person?

Salman: No..no...no. you are getting me wrong! It's not like you think

Kamran: Then why did you want to frame someone and what is the previous plan all about?

Salman: I wanted to frame someone and my previous plan was to kill that person but then Rashid knew all about it and when he talked to me about it, he realized that I was mentally ill...

Even though Rashid was surprised by Salman's talks but still he continued:

Rashid: (cutting his statement) And then I made him understand and he took many therapies, he was in the asylum in the last month that was the reason why he was not here when you came!

Kamran was speechless

Rashid: And Salman didn't want anyone to know this that was the reason I didn't tell you

After a complete silence he said:

Kamran: So, who was on the phone?
