growing up (world building time)

i have learned that this world is essentially a dream come true it's a world of mechs however the problem was the number of commoner pilots was very very few however that being said my family while not being nobles or pilots themselves are the best mechanics in the kingdom giving us special privileges the mechs themselves were known as gears and they reminded me of how IS worked in that there was the standard gear and then their was your personal machine known as a sovereign gear the sovereign gears generally had names

i learned this world had magic which was huge piece to most gears the magic was called mana and it was used for basically everything this reminded me of knights and magic this world gave me deja vu of many different mecha anime

i have yet to go through the system as i have been trying to learn and grow what can a child do except learn after all

how gears were created was also very cool

first off dragons and other mythical creatures exist and in fact riding them is quite common however dragons are also the key for any gear as they are the heart and soul of the gears of this world they are similar to the dragons from the inheritance cycle which was cool they had special cores within them called aether cores the dragon rulers aether cores are what are used to create sovereign gears

dragon rulers were as their name implied the rulers of dragon kind they were much more powerful then ordinary dragons and if you bond with a ruler you immediately become a candidate to pilot a gear as dragon rulers are immensely sought after immensely feared for their combat prowess

their were six types of dragons

molten dragons dragons that could manipulate the fire element

hydro dragons dragons that could manipulate the water element

tempest dragons dragons that could manipulate the wind element

earth dragons dragons dragons that could manipulate the earth element

light dragons dragons that could heal others these dragons aether cores were very rarely used for gears as they weren't really useful in combat

dark dragons dragons that could destroy and devastate anything in their path they could manipulate all four of the elements and were stronger faster more agile and they could take a lot more damage they also looked imposing with their obsidian scales and their gleaming eyes that were different colors depending on the dragon

i also learned that these mechs existed to fight the giant demonic creatures known as the fiends who's leaders have sentient intelligence yet they hate the humans although they never explained why

i was now fifteen years old and would be soon asking my system about everything as i also would soon be admitted into the academy

"hey son do you have a particular path once you get into the academy" his mother asked as she also realized it was nearly that time

"yes mother i plan to do a bit of everything some design, mechanic work, dragon care, and of course piloting" i said she nodded i showed myself as a genius both in the art of combat with my katana but also in the brain category as we finished eating i retired to my room

'system' i said within my mind

'yes host' the system said

'system open my inventory i said and the system did so and inside was a gift package and a lottery ticket

'system there wasn't a lottery function before' i said

''congratulations host has unlocked lottery function' the system said this got me thinking

'system show me achievements' i said and their it was a long list of achievements what i found amusing was on my birthday i gained an achievement but what i found awesome was all of my achievements gave me shop points

'system claim all' i said and the system did so granting me a lot of shop points

'system claim gift package' i said

"congratulations host has unlocked blueprints for the gundam age normal as well as 50,000" shop points the system said this gave me a grand total of 3,682,000 shop points and the age was handy for one reason the age key i cared about nothing else but the age key was going to be very handy for modification

'system use the lottery ticket' i said the system did so

'congratulation host unlocked blueprints for the gundam wing zero' the system said and i paled i didn't want the zero system what was i to do with that i sighed

'system i have a question' i said

'of course host' the system said

'how do i use the gundam frames if i were to unlock them i don't have the alaya vijnana system implemented in me or the unicorn i am not a new type' i said if a machine is unlocked all problems will be eliminated and grant you access to the machines and the benefits of piloting them

'open the shop' i said satisfied with the answer and i saw a long list i actually after thinking about it had an idea about the zero system but first i needed another system so i scrolled until i found the EX-S gundam and buying it immediately even if it cost 1,000,000 SP i didn't care i wanted the alice system then i went and saw something else that made me smile stuff from the gundam build series was on this list with that in mind i bough the 00 sky as plans were coming to fruition that cost another million i spent another million on the knightmare frame shinkiro for its absolute defense system once he had the money he planed to also by the guren for its wave surger of course with some modifications as that arm is way to big for his uses but then i realized something

'system do i have to buy a whole unit or can i buy the specific part and or system i want' i asked

'you do not have to buy an entire machine if you are looking for a specific piece and or weapon' the system said and i smirked perfect i then searched for the guren seiten's radiant wave surger and it cost 600,000 SP but i thought it was worth it lastly i wanted the gerbera straight from the astray red frame but because all that was was a giant katana with beam coating it only costed 50,000 leaving me with only 32,000 shop points which i decided to save as if a katana took 50,000 i could expect most beam rifles to cost the same amount
