Chapter 3: Reason

Few days have passed since the new transferee arrived, she did not talk to me ever since. I mean, I hoped that she would but then again it is up to her. While thinking of my schedule, I felt some or someone looking my way only to see Silvia or Sasaki-san looking at me with those caring eyes. She waves at me but I did not respond with a wave back. If only I was allowed to do so...

Few hours later during lunch and I heard from few of my classmates talking.

"As expected, many guys are confessing to her, only to be shut down coldly".

"Well, she is very pretty and has a rich family as well. I even heard those 'guys' will partake in confessing to her. Although, no one knows."

While I was eavesdropping to their conversation, I got a notification on my phone. I read what was the message is and it was about the said house I was aiming for. You may ask, how I got enough money to buy a goddamn house, but I do not spend mine in the 'wants' list. Rather think of the list as not really needed like games, shoes, or gadgets. I save mine for the needs which is having my own house.

Time passed and I went quickly to my boss feeling proud of myself for having my own house. After getting there, I saw my boss talking to someone which turned out the previous owner of the house. When my boss saw me at the distance, he walked up to me and introduced me to the person.

"Hi Hayashi-san, I am Oliver Miller. I am the owner or rather the previous owner of this house."

As he said that, he reached out his hand. I then introduce myself as well.

"Hi Oliver-san, I am Kage Hayashi nice to meet you!"

Both of them looked at each other and chuckled. I don't know why but I feel a bit embarrased.

I shaked his hand and we went to the place my boss owns.

While walking there, they talk about a lot of stuff and I was too excited to listen to them. Eventually we got there.

"Ok, lets get down to business shall we?" as Oliver-san to which both my boss and I nodded.

"Ok Kage, I generally got the idea of your life through Iori-san here and boy you are in a ride huh?"

My boss is Iori Weber and I'm surprised he told him about my past. While I'm shocked, he continued.

"Well, I am selling this place due to me and family going back to america. You could say that I am going back to my roots."

"Oliver-san or Mr. Oliver, I understood the reason for selling the place but why did you not sell it to the previous people who wants to buy it?" Asked by Iori-san.

"Well, several reasons, I am not selling it due to lack of funding, no. I have more than enough to go back forth between japan and america several times. You see, my wife is also against selling them due to knowing him." As he pointed at me.
