26 Just buy me some noodles

"Ten more minutes!"

The young woman pressed the alarm snooze button with half opened eyes. She laid her phone on the side of the bed and returned to her dreamland. After ten minutes, the alarm rang again, making Mara bit her lower lip in frustration.

"Fine!" She sat up on the bed and dismissed the alarm. However, her eyes widened at the sight of the time on the phone. It was still 6 in the morning. But didn't she set the alarm at 7 in the morning? Then how did this happen?

Mara held the phone and stared at the wall, thinking deeply. Was she dreaming? Nah, no. She could hear the people chattering loudly like usual, so it was not the dream. Then how did the alarm ring at 6 in the morning?

Slowly and slowly, the reality started to hit the young woman. That's right, her hands slipped and accidentally set the alarm at 6 in the morning. Mara closed her eyes in frustration and bit her lower lip in annoyance, she was so done with herself.

"Ugh!! It is still freaking 6!"

The young woman in the room shouted furiously. She set the wrong alarm last night, it was supposed to be 7am but she accidentally set it at 6. She did not notice that though. Now the alarm had interrupted her beauty sleep.

Making the young woman threw the phone onto the floor harshly. Thanked to the soft carpet, her phone did not break. "Why?!! Why are you so cruel to me, you asshole hands! Why did you make it 6?!" Mara glared at her hands.

Her mind was breaking her both hands into pieces, burning it till it turned into ash. "Gosh, I hate my own hands" she murmured and stood up from the bed, going into the bathroom with half opened eyes. Her mind was a mess.

Not knowing what to do. Should she sleep back? But it would not be enough for her. Then should she start getting for the work? But she was too lazy and sleepy to do that. Without thinking twice, Mara decided to take a cold bath to awake herself.

"Arr! This is freaking freezing!!" The young woman ran out of the walk in shower with a bathrobe on her body. A tightened frown was seen on her face, telling that she was really annoyed with the situation.

"I think I need to take a warm shower" she shook her head in disapproval, not agreeing to take a cold bath. Mara stepped into the shower and made the water warm but little cold. Mara took a shower for twenty minutes straight.

"Good morning, Miss"

Lily and Lila greeted the young woman who just walked into the dining room. "Good morning" Mara greeted back with a small smile, she sat down at the host seat and started eating the breakfast. Her husky was playing with the ball in the backyard.

"I heard your shout, Miss. Did something happen?" Lila asked with worries written on her face. She did not go check the young woman because Mara told them not to come up to her if they heard the shout randomly. "I set the wrong alarm"

Mara spoke with annoyance, wanting to burn down the whole world. "Oh.." Lila nodded in understatement as Lily held back her laughter. "Laugh out loud if you want, Lily. It is better than holding your laughter" The young woman rolled her eyes.

"No, I don't dare to" Lily gulped and relaxed her face. "Good" Mara smiled in satisfaction. The twin sisters watched the young woman eating quietly and elegantly. They wanted to meet Mara's mother for once. They wondered how Mara's mother would look like.

"Thanks for the amazing breakfast" the young woman stood up from the seat when she finished the breakfast. She thanked the two girls as the twin sisters grinned proudly. "We are glad to hear that, Miss" Lily said with a smile.

"Oh by the way, I am not going to come back home early like usual starting from today" Mara spoke and stepped out of the dining room as the twin sisters followed. Her words made the twins sisters frowned. "May I know when you will come back then, Miss?"

Lila questioned with a sad face.

She pouted like a five years old kid who did not get a candy from her parents. "Midnight.." Mara answered with a sigh. "I understand, Miss" Lila's gloomy face made the young woman could not help but stepped forward and patted Lila's head gently.

"Don't do that face, little girl. It is not like I am not coming back anyway" Lila nodded in understatement while frowning. "I-I understand" "Well, then see you" Mara waved her hand and stepped out of the house after finished wearing the white colored high heels.

"Hello!!" Mara knelt down and hugged the Husky which just ran into the house with a ball in his mouth. The twin sisters smiled at the sight of the Husky and the young woman. "Bye, baby! See you at midnight!" She ruffled the Husky's fur.

Mara stood up from the floor and walked out of the house while waving at the three. "Please take care, Miss! Don't forget to take a nap if you feel tired!" Lila shouted like a kid while Lily only chuckled at the two. "I will for sure! Bye!"

Mara quickly went into the taxi as the taxi driver looked at her with a shocked face. "What?" She questioned with a frown. "N-nothing, where do you want to go, Miss Mara Athena?" He knew the young woman. She was the famous and successful business woman.

The news about her were the hot topic. But who would have thought the young woman really changed into someone else? The taxi driver just could not believe his eyes. She was not like he imagined. She looked more beautiful and attractive.

Her confidence could step onto him and climbed up to the sky. She was that confident, this young woman looked more mature now. Mara raised her eyebrow. "Drive to 'Reece' company please" she spoke as the man nodded.

He obeyed the young woman.

"You have arrived, Miss Mara Athena" the taxi driver said and looked back at the young woman who was taking out the money from her white purse. "Here" she handed the cost and went out of the taxi. She did not even bother to care about the taxi driver.

The taxi driver was shamelessly judging her obviously. He even called her Mara Athena so he must know her. Since the news about her were spreading like a fire in the town, he must be shocked to see the current Mara Athena.

The young woman in purple colored long sleeves v-neck satin crop top and black high waisted pants walked into the 'Reece' company. Her honey brown eyes were showing the boredom like usual. The black high heels ankle boots made the perfect rhymes.

Catching everyone attention. "Good morning, Miss" the employees greeted as Mara replied with a smile. She stepped into the elevator, holding her white purse tightly. As the elevator door opened, her eyes met the electric blue eyes.

"Good morning, Miss Mara" Kylo spoke with his cold face. The young woman nodded and walked past of him, not saying anything. But it did not bother the man. Kylo just walked into the elevator, completely ignoring each other.

Mara let out a sigh, getting ready to work. Her eyes traveled to the pile of files on the table. "Seriously.. I won't finish this shit till tomorrow" The young woman furiously murmured. "Let's go, Mara! You are the perfect woman ever"

She encouraged herself.

The young woman started working from the morning till the evening without even taking a break, she only ate the chocolate bread for the lunch. Mara concentration was that strong. She even forgot to take a lunch.

Her eyes could not look out of the huge glass window, so she did not know how long the time had passed. "*knock knock*" "Come in!" Mara looked up at the door as Kylo stared into her eyes. "What is it?" The young woman asked.

"I just came here to remind you that you haven't eaten dinner yet" as an assistant of the young woman, Kylo walked here just to say that. Mara did not go outside of her office just for a second and it made the man curious. He was wondering why.

It turned out that she was working nonstop without caring about herself. "Oh! It is already dinner time?!" Mara eyes widened in disbelief and looked at the time on laptop. 'Oh shoot! No wonder, my stomach was growling like a dog' she furrowed her brows.

How could she not notice the time? "I understand! Thank you for reminding" Mara stood up from the seat but stopped immediately. "Wait.. can you go and buy me some food instead? I really need to finish this work" Mara smiled at the man.

Kylo did not respond, he blinked twice and stared into the young woman's honey brown fox eyes. "Sure. What do you want?" Kylo questioned as waited for the young woman to speak. "Umm, I don't know. Just buy me some noodles" Mara replied.

"I understand. Then please wait for awhile. Oh by the way, the security went back to his home early today because his wife was hospitalized. So there is no one beside you and me in this company. Everyone went back already" Kylo spoke as Mara nodded.

"I understand"

The young woman replied as Kylo excused himself. When the door closed, the young woman sat down on the swivel chair as a soft sigh escaped her lips. "This is tiring" Mara leaned back on the swivel chair. Her eyes started to become heavy, making the young woman sleepy.

"What the fuck" Suddenly the light went out, making the young woman opened her eyes in hurry and cursed under her breath. Mara quickly stood up from the seat as the laptop light fell onto her body. Why did the light went out?

"Damn it" The young woman murmured and started searching for her phone in the dark. Her hands touched the phone on the table, making the young woman smiled in satisfaction. "Found it" she opened the flashlight and decided to go check the intelligent electronic devices.

Her steps were directing to the door. Her hand reached to the door handle and Mara opened the door without hesitating but as she opened the door, her eyes met the three men standing outside of the office with masks and caps on.

It was the moment Mara realized that she fucked up. The moment she finally realized that she fell into the trap. Before she could do anything, the handkerchief wrapped around her mouth, making her dizzy like crazy. "Fuck.."

The only word which came out of her mouth. Her body lost consciousness and fell onto the ground but one of the three men caught her body quickly as a smirk appeared on his face. He dragged the young woman into the office as another man closed the door.

"Let's start the work"
