Making A Statement

Hero academy, the place where it tears the best heroes in the world. At the front was four statues of the greatest heroes to come out of the academy. Tristan McCarthy was standing in front of one of th statue with a frown on his face. His eyes glowed red when he looked at the other statue of a woman and he clenched his fist so hard his knuckles produced crunching noise.

"You motherfuckers call yourself heroes, I'm gonna show you just how a hero should act. It all starts with this step," he growled then proceeded inside. Just then, the school intercom came alive.

"Good morning students and interviewees. My name is Professor Volcanis, I have few things to announce. For the students, your classes have been cancelled today and you are expected to be in the Training Grounds at all times. For the Interviewees, you are expected to be ready and already inside the Training Grounds in two hours. Failure to alive in time will mean you have expelled yourself.

"The first interview will be an ability test. This is where we test what your abilities are in order to put you into the classes you are supposed to be in. There are Combat Hero classes, Medic Hero classes and Clerk Hero classes. If your abilities are found to be in one of these then you are going to be assigned there. The second interview will be battle. You will be in teams of three, a combat hero, a medic hero and a clerk hero. Your roles in the group should be self explanatory. The third Interview will be a written test. This will test your brains. If you pass two out of the three or all of them then you are welcome to the prestigious Hero Academy!"

Tristan sucked his teeth in annoyance when he heard this. He had prepared for this moment for eight years! Eight years of self harm and training to become stronger. His abilities are quite hard to train but they show their worth because of their firepower. He was confident enough to breeze through this Interview and become the first person ever to go against Armageddon. He was the X Rank hero he had a grudge on together with Moonfade, the number one female hero.

"You, fuck face, tell me where the Training Grounds is!" Tristan growled at a boy whose abilities made him mutate to look like a hobgoblin. The boy seemed to be quite conscious of his face for he shrunk his head and pointed at his destination before quickly turning and ran off. Tristan didn't even look back as he made his way to the direction he was going to. Five minutes later, he reached it and found a long queue of Interviewees registering. He growled in impatience as he stood behind the last girl.

"Hi, my name is Yuri..."

"We just need to be quiet here, girlie. Keep your enthuthiasm to yourself," he told her. The girl was quite disappointed as she turned around and fell silent. But that was outlived as another girl came behind him and she greeted her too. This started a conversation that he wished he wasn't involved so he cut in front of her to let them speak in peace as he put on headphones that weren't plugged in. The queue dwiddled till it was his turn. The one registering them looked up at him and frowned when she saw the scowl on his face.

"What's with the scowl? You made it to the Hero Academy, just do your best and you might become a student here," she tried to encourage him. Tristan's scowl became even deeper then his left hand took out his former school ID and slammed it on the table, making it creak, nearly breaking it.

"I'm already pissed off that I get to fight plebeians like these to prove that I am worthy to be in this school," he growled, making the woman's sunny expression fade. She just took his name, filled out everything then asked him the question she asks every other candidate.

"Why do you desire to study in this school?"

"To show Armageddon and Moonfade that I started the same as them before I crush them to powder and use their blood to die my clothes," Tristan answered without batting an eye. Everyone was shocked by the answer because of two reasons. One, the two names were owned by the most powerful heroes alive, heroes who had the strength to pull a whole planet off its orbit and send it hurtling indefinitely through space as a morning exercise yet he was talking about killing both of them. Second, everyone loved both of them. Only people who didn't are either villians or soon to be villians.

"Let's chalk it up to becoming stronger than them," the woman said as she thought perhaps it was his teenage hormanes flaring and making him have impaired judgement. "This is your tage, just follow the student who will be assigned to you and you'll be alright." Tristan didn't bother with her anymore as he went inside the Training Grounds. He found a boy with his name tag number board sign waiting for him.

"No. 12417, good to see you. Follow me to the first Interview area," the boy said. Tristan nodded and followed, making sure he was looking around for anything he might use later on. When he entered the Training Grounds, he was amazed by the sheer size of the place. It was so big that they had screens about sixty metres tall on each cardianl point broadcasting what was going on inside the arena. Right now what was being broadcasted was the video of the guy before him being tested for his ability. The boy's face suddenly turned into spikes as more appeared out of his clothes from all over his body.

"Spike Armament, Battle class ability!" the interviewer shouted. "Next!" The boy got off the stage as Tristan took his place.

"Alright, don't be nervous. Just show us your abilities and I will know where to put you," the man said. Tristan nodded then went into a horse stance. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath in as he felt the warmth inside his body meaning his ability was starting to show. He then opened his eyes which were now shining red ominously. His head whipped to the sky, his arms stretched out then let out a roar that would later be called the Reaper's Roar. Fr his mouth shot out fire and lightning simultaneously. From his right hand came out a jet of air, his left hand brought out water. A column of earth rose from beneath his feet, rising him to the air then, all the elements stopped as he started floating, curled up in a deaths position. His body started shining, brighter by aach passing second. In a minute, he was like a miniature sun then the light exploded outwards, bringing all the students to their butts. Tristan floated down and he looked at the Interviewer who had his mouth wide open. Taking this opportunity, Tristan decided to make a old statement.

"My name is Tristan and all you fuckers are now walking in my turf. Soon, I will be the number one hero in the world then I will do what I always wanted to do! For now, no spoilers but it will shake the whole galaxy!" Tristan shouted.

"Full Elemental Abilities!" the Interviewer shouted, bringing everyone back from their stupor.

Somewhere Far From The Academy

A man wrapped in bandages was watching this year's recruitment to the Hero Academy when he saw the little devil that put him in his deathbed which gave him a mini heart attack. He coughed out the water he was drinking as he quickly increased the volume. When he heard of Tristan's bold statement, he felt like he should get out of the Galaxy sooner than later.

"If this devil becomes a hero then we are all doomed! Why is the Hero Academy do laxxed! Do a background check on him, he looks suspicious enough and you will know you just invited a wolf to sleep with sheep! Dammit, where is my Demon, I want to sell my belongings!" he shouted.

Demons were the best natural lawyers in the whole universe due to their milliniums of contract making, going against the contracts without repecursions due to the contract's loopholes. The first ability users asked the Demon King for peace and used the Demons' natural talent to let them be popular to humans and it worked. Right now, the best Lawyers are demons, the best soldiers are demons, the best call girls/boys are Succubuses or Incubuses and if you want a general that will give you results just hire a Demon Lord.
