Chapter 9

Morning, The air is cold and the neighbors are still hot, banging... The hammer. In a bed, in a certain apartment, three girls can be seen cuddling each other as they sleep.
'Beep beep beep beep beep 3x'
(Zesshi)
"Hmmm whaaaaa, It's morning already?"
She said looking out the window as she gets down from the bed and walks to the bathroom. Looking at the mirror she noticed something and asked Shio.
(Zesshi)
"Shio are you awake?"
(Shio)
"Whaaaaa... Yeah, I'm awake why?"
(Zesshi)
"What did you do to our body?"
She asks still looking at her body that now looks more mature, especially on the upper parts and her previous 179cm is now 181cm while her hair is slightly longer.
(A/N: I can't believe that Zesshi is actually quite tall but the wiki says she's 179cm which surprised me :ᴏ. Guess I can't really tell the difference when many tall characters like Ainz, Gezef, Gagaran, Cocyutus and many more big people are in there.)
(Shio)
"Oh, that I just decided to make sure it won't look like your the student especially now that Song Yi's overall appearance has grown drastically these past weeks. Now that Esil has joined it is now needed to make sure people do think you are the little sister or something."
They then look at the sleeping Song Yi who's hugging Esil with both of them having no clothes except for a T-shirt.
(Zesshi)
"Heh, I can see what you're talking about."
She said while observing Song Yi's body that's now about 177cm due to all the stuff her Teacher fed and infused to her. With growth occurring all over her body she now looks less child-like but more mature compared to what she was before meeting her Teacher.
(Shio)
"Yup, now hurry up and take a bath you still need to cook some food. If I remember correctly the training session will happen in the morning so we have some time to train Esil and for me to transfer info about this world to her. Also, I'll need to modify her appearance to not look like a dungeon's inhabitants to the hunters."
(Zesshi)
"Ok ok, ill hurry you should try to wake up those two while I'm bathing."
(Shio)
"Leave it to me!."
While Zesshi is now taking a bath two black liquids started to appear on both the sleeping girls. It slowly moves till it reaches their mouths at which it entered stopping air from flowing into their body causing them to wake up immediately.
(Shio/Zesshi)
"Wake up now you two we still need to prepare for later."
Shio said as the black liquid dissolved back into their bodies.
(Song Yi)
"Cough cough' Ok teacher but please wake us up gently next time?"
Shio then again spoke using Zesshi's voice in their heads.
(Shio/Zesshi)
"No this will help you home your reflexes and senses in case danger arrives at you one day. Go take a bath and Esil after breakfast come with me while Song Yi trains her abilities."
(Esil)
"Yes mistress."
(Song Yi)
"Ok teacher"
She then runs to the bathroom while dragging Esil with her.
(2 hours later)
Esil is now sitting in front of Zesshi in their room.
(Zesshi/shio)
"Now am gonna transfer to you the basic knowledge of this world alongside some food recipes so that you can cook for Song Yi in case I'm not here or lazy."
(Esil)
"Yes mistress!"
She then extended her finger into Esil's head. The moment it touch Esil suddenly felt her head in pain once again as a huge amount of information about the current world flowed into her head. Not being able to handle it anymore she fell unconscious while Shio continue transferring.
(Shio)
"And done, she should wake up in a few mins by that time she will take about an hour to fully ingest the information."
(A few hours later)
Jin woo received a call from the chairman calling him to the association. Zesshi then received the same call from the chairman.
'Ring ring ring'
Picking up her phone Zesshi nodded to Song Yi and Esil to wear clothes as they were about to leave now.
(Zesshi)
"Both of you should prepare now we'll leave after I finished this call."
(Song Yi)
"Ok teacher!"
She then giggled as both slipped while running to their room.
(Zesshi)
"Hello chairman, So why did you decide to call me?"
She said knowing what his about to say.
(Gunhee)
"Hello Hunter Zesshi, can I ask you to go here to the association to discuss something important?"
(Zesshi)
"Sure but ill be bringing two other people for a reason you'll know when we arrive there."
At which Gunhee just accepted.
(Few mins later at the hunters association.)
Zesshi along with Song Yi and Esil who knows a looks more human looking after Shio modified her body while also wearing a cap.
(A/N: Changes are removed tattoo markings, shorter ears and other minuscule differences.)
(Zesshi)
"Ok Song Yi you can be excited but try to behave ok?"
(Song Yi)
"I understand teacher!"
She said looking around the hallways like a child. Arriving at Gunhee's office they saw Jin woo inside.
(Gunhee)
"Hunter Zesshi Just in time let me explain..."
He then proceeds to tell about the Jeju island raid. While Jin woo continued to look at Song Yi with conflicted eyes but keep quiet for now. They then felt strong mana waves nearby.
(Gunhee)
"Did something happened?"
(Jin-woo)
"Not really but it seems hunters are fighting nearby?"
(Gunhee)
"Hahahaha your intuition is good to feel it from this distance. Right now S rank hunters should be warming up in the gym."
(Zesshi)
"S ranks hunters? Who are these S rank hunters chairman they don't seem to be from Korea."
(Gunhee)
"Correct!"
Gunhee then proceeds to explain to them who the guests are while approaching the gym. Arriving at the gym they see Baek Yoon Ho and Ma Dong Gook fighting. Ma Dong won the match although if Baek used his full power he would have won.
(Zesshi)
"Are those the Japanese hunters?"
Zesshi asked while sitting on the railing.
(Gunhee)
"Yes, they are what do you think?"
(Zesshi
"They seem to be good enough."
After which a mock match between the Korean and Japanese hunters below was decided. Seeing that Cha Hae In was about to get into a serious situation Jin woo stepped in which eventually lead to a heated "mock battle" against Goto Ryuji.
(Zesshi)
"Song Yi can you keep up with them?"
(Song Yi)
"If it's against that guy Goto Ryuji I can but not against Jin-woo."
(Zesshi)
"That's good enough as Jin-woo is soon gonna be this world's strongest being..."
She then smirks evilly.
(Zesshi)
"That's if I didn't exist hehehe."
At which she then jumped down and stopped both Jin-woo and Goto from hurting each other holding both their hands. As Zesshi is technically still levels higher than Jin woo she can easily stop him.
(Zesshi)
"You two should stop at this for now, the chairman would not like it if one of you where to get seriously injured here."
Sensing that both have calmed down she let go of their hands. After a while, Jin-woo said to the chairman his not gonna join the raid while Zesshi along with Song Yi and Esil approached the Japanese hunters and spoke in Japanese.
(Zesshi)
"Hello I am Zesshi Zutsumei and these two are my students."
As both Song Yi nor Esil don't know Japanese they just nodded. Hanakawa the Japanese hunter's translator asked.
(Hanakawa)
"Hello, Zesshi San, may I ask are you Japanese?"
At which Zesshi smiled and said
(Zesshi)
"I was born in "Japan" but let's just say that I started a new life here."
After speaking she suddenly released her aura which suddenly caused some of the Japanese hunters to fall to their knees before retracting it but for Gojo what he felt was even more fear of death than he felt against Jin-woo, mustering his courage he step it in and said.
(Gojo)
"Why? Why Is a hunter like you here? You could have been Japan's strongest hunter!"
His statement shocked everyone but at the same time, they can't seem to find it in them to deny his words.
(Zesshi)
"I'd rather not talk about why I left, as for you I'm impressed you managed to see through my strength. Anyways I'm not here to chat but to ask if some of you can train with my students here?"
She said in a cheerful voice while pointing at Song and Esil. Hearing this Jin woo grew worried for Song Yi but seeing Zesshi he knows she will protect her so he stayed down and continued to watch. Thinking for a while Gojo decided who would fight.
(Gojo)
"Kanae you fight the black hair one while Kenjo fights the other?"
Recovering from Zesshi's aura they both agreed.
(Kanae)
"Sure as long as their teacher doesn't suddenly kill us if they get hurt I'm fine."
(Kenjo)
"I'm the same"
(Zesshi)
"Don't worry even if they lost a limb or two ill just get a healing item or a healer to wrap them back to one piece so you can go all out."
After that, both pairs were positioned at different ends of the gym to start their battle.
(Gunhee)
"What do you think about Hunter Zesshi's students?"
(Jin-woo)
"Like their Teacher, I can't estimate their strength as it keeps going up and down. But what she released earlier suggests that Zesshi is strong."
He said still with worry in his eyes.
(Gunhee)
"I see."
(Zesshi)
"Ok, the rules will be the same as the earlier match so if everyone's ready you can start now!"
At which both pairs rushed at each other. In Kanae and Song Yi's fight when they reach the other range Song Yi suddenly speeds up and threw a kick that Kanae blocks while being pushed back by it. After their first exchange both thought.
(Kanae)
'She's Strong and fast but I can tell she lacks experience.'
(Song Yi)
'I might be stronger than her but I can clearly see my lack of experience to be my downfall here.'
But she then thought of her teacher again.
(Song Yi)
'No, I promise to make teacher proud of me today I must do my best and be careful of any tricks my opponent might have.'
While in Esil's fight, Kenjo can be seen having trouble as Esil keeps moving rapidly around him while hitting him on his openings.
(Kenjo)
"Damn this girl's fast! I can't even catch her."
(Esil)
'This is almost like fighting that one big shadow with a shield from sir Jinwooss's army. But that was when I was still not strong enough that I had to beg for my life. Now I must continue to improve and serve my master and mistress with my best.'
She then looks at Zesshi who's about to fall asleep sitting nearby.
(Esil)
"It seems I need to end this soon mistress is getting bored."
She then activated one of the skills she got from Zesshi.
(Esil)
"Accelerate!"
Then suddenly she disappeared from everyone's Field of view except for Zesshi, Jin-woo, Gojo, and Gunhee.
(Kenjo)
"Dammit, where did she go!"
Then suddenly he was hit by something which caused him to fall as Esil hold both his wrist.
(Esil)
"It is my win!"
After that, she bowed and left to stand near the sleepy Zesshi's side and continued to watch her master fight.
As both Kanae and Song Yi are exchanging attacks with each other it can be seen that Son Yi is now catching up to Kanae's movement.
(Kanae)
'What a monster she's learning from each exchange and improving on each of her mistakes. Now I see why her teacher wants us to fight heh. I must end this now before she can catch up to me.'
As she attacked while trying to bait up Song Yi's wrist, Song Yi suddenly aim her hand at Kanae.
(Song Yi)
"Ice lance!,
Seeing the projectile coming to her Kanae dodged but that moment of opening gave Song Yi and released another spell
(Song Yi)
" Dragon Lightning!"
The Lightning managed to gaze Kanae stunning her for a couple sec giving Song Yi enough time to rush in and catch her wrist ending the match. Hanakawa seeing that Zesshi is now asleep stepped in and declared.
(Hanakawa)
"Winner Zesshi san students!"
Song Yi then waves for her to come and translate for them. Looking at Kanae Song Yi spoke as Hanakawa translated.
(Song Yi)
"Thank you for fighting me, thanks to you I've seen my flaws."
(Kanae)
"You're welcome I guess but who would have thought you're a mage haha."
(Song Yi)
"Teacher always says to keep a few trump cards to surprise your enemies."
(Kanae)
"I see, well it was nice fighting with you. See you again at the raid if you are attending it."
She said leaving along with Kenjo. Song Yi then comes to Zesshi and Esil as she tries to wake up her teacher. While all this was happening Jin-woo was shocked to see how much Song Yi improve and also felt that the girl next to them is quite familiar but in the end, he thought as he leave the association building.
(Jin-woo)
"It seems that I was the one who's wrong Zesshi, Song yi."
Though sad he also felt happy for Song Yi.

(A/N: And thats the chapter hope you enjoyed it. For some reason making this chapter felt so much longer to me even tho it stil took the appropriate amount of time based on the other chapter time I took to make them. Hmm pretty weird anyways stay safe everyone :3.)
