I really had a scream-off with a barely clothed couple in a freaking maze! "What the fuck?" I screamed, turning my back towards them. "Yeah man, what the fuck? Can't you hear we're fucking here? Unless you wanted to watch? Or... Join us?" The guy replied.

The girl and I both screamed "Eww!" followed by her remark, "Perv." The guy's voice rang like an irritating ringtone. "I'm not shaming you or anything, you do you, I guess."

Why am I still here? I broke into a silent sigh as I started to walk forward. "Nope. I'll be going. Don't stop on my account. Or anybody's apparently. Since you're out here!"

They're out here doing that, rather open in the night and they have the nerve to say I'm the pervert? I heard them shuffling back there and the guy said. "Well, that's exciting. Let's continue?" They started smooching again. Gross.

I was halfway out of the maze when I heard a sharp scream behind me. I quickly turned my head to see the girl crouching on the ground and the guy slowly glancing at his surroundings. "What's happening?" Taking my shirt off, covering the girl's chest as she tries to fix her complicated dress. She looked at me with grateful eyes, "There's someone in the hedges! They're taking pictures!"

As if on cue a flash of a camera blinded the three of us and the leaves rustled as the culprit escaped. The guy jumps into action and runs in pursuit. "Hey! That's illegal! I mean, morally illegal!" He shouts. The girl's eyes widened in terror as she gripped my shoulders. "What are you sitting here for? Go help him stop the perv!" Oh, fuck me. "I'll be ok, go be a man!" She pushed me backwards, throwing my shirt at my face and I soon found myself running inside the maze.

What did I get myself into? This is more work I've done in a month. I barely managed to catch up to the guy. I approached his side as I wheeze and wheeze. He slowly placed his musky-scented hand on my mouth, silencing me. The thought of his hand touching who knows what made my stomach churn. Focus. Don't barf. I gently took his hand off, giving him a disgusted look. He only smiled at me, narrowing his eyes. Oh no, I can feel vomit in my throat.

He softly whispered in my ear, more ticklish than I wanted. "The culprit is stuck over the hedge and they're waiting for our move. They could either go left or right. I need you to run as noisily as possible to the right and I'll intercept him from the left. Ok?" I gave him a soft nod and I broke the silence with a loud swish to the grass. But as I turned around the corner, the hooded culprit ran towards me. This isn't part of the plan!

They started to raise their fist at me but I was not agile enough to dodge. One strong hook to the face made me stumble backward. My arms flailed around, looking for something to grab onto and a thing came to reach. I yanked it, hoping it'd save me but alas I still fell to the ground.

My face started to sting from the punch, throbbing, and aching, I almost felt like my mouth was moved slightly to the side. I wail in pain, tossing and turning on the ground until I come face to face with the camera. I glanced at the hooded figure, almost seeing their face. They started to reach for it and we wrestled. I'll make sure to break this precious camera of theirs. This motherfucker just made this personal.

The culprit is much stronger but they're distracted. They kept glancing behind them, seemingly aware of the guy. I tried to grab their hood and my attempt made them focus on me. The guy can now sneak behind them. Where is he?

The guy then emerges, loudly yodeling. THE HELL! Can't he go any louder?! He came, running fast like a track star. The hoodlum frantically glanced behind them and I used the opportunity to keep them in place for his punch. "Come on! Knock them out already!" I screamed.

Instead of delivering a hook to the culprit's face, he lifts his knee, preparing to strike, "ROUNDHOUSE KICKU!!" Oh, son of a bitch! The impact made the hoodlum free from my restraints and I heard a crack. The guy got into a fighting position, his tense muscles bulging, ready for a fight. Blood is smeared across the grass and the hooded figure is left with no choice but to flee.

"That's right bitch! Run away! You know you can't handle these!" He flexes his biceps smugly.

"A little help here!" I cried.

"Right. Here." he offered his hand and I gladly accepted it. "Oooh... They really did a number on your face." The guy pulled a concerned look.

"What's wrong with it?" I fearfully asked. "It's mostly fine..." He whispers. "What's that supposed to mean? Come on, say something!"

"Nothing! It's just a little blue. In your cheek region." I instinctively touched it, and I felt a sharp pang on my cheek.

"Hey don't touch it." He stopped my hand, noticing my pained expression. His hand lingers for a moment, looking at my lips. Is it also injured?

The guy leaned in. "Let me kiss it better." I gave him a hard smack on the head and he broke into a smile.

"Well, at least you got that." We both glanced at the camera in my hands. "We need to report this," I mumbled. "Wait! Aren't you a little curious about what kind of nasty stuff is in there?" He raises his brows while smiling menacingly.

"Nah. I think it's broken." I dangled it in front of him. "Bummer." He snatched it from my grasp. "My buddy can fix this. I'll just have a little peek, then we report it."

"You're crazy." I gave an exhausted sigh. "Don't worry! I'll definitely send you some pictures. What's your Facebook?" He asked lightheartedly. "I don't have one."

He laughs, carefully examining my dead-serious face. "Really?" His expression changed. "How about Insta? TikTok? No?" I didn't even give him a response. I'm just exhausted. Physically, mentally, and especially socially. I can't...

I dragged myself, as fast as my tired body could handle. I ignored the guy's muffled voice. I only walked and walked until I was in front of the loud mansion. Again.
