Stabbed

The next morning, Ya Nuo walked downstairs for breakfast. Since Qiu Rei thought that she was on his side, he allowed her to roam freely in the house. She is his money making tool, so he treated her however she wished to be treated. If she says the mattress isn't comfortable, then it will be changed to one that suits her liking. She said she didn't like eating in a room under supervision and wanted to walk around, so he took away the bodyguards and permitted her to walk around the house whenever she gets bored. Since the engagement party is only two days away, his anxiety increases because she could go back on her words if she wanted to. Therefore, he went along with her requests.

Ya Nuo didn't know that Gu Wing had escaped, so she was a bit stunned to see her eating in the dining room. The most interesting part is that Gu Wing, a woman who always controlled her diet and calories per meal, was eating rib eyed steaks with mac and cheese on the side. She usually avoids such oily and heavy food, especially in the morning.

Ya Nuo entered the room casually and sat directly opposite from Gu Wing. She chose pancakes, chocolate waffles, and orange juice for her breakfast. While waiting for her food, Ya Nuo's eyes never left Gu Wing.

Gu Wing sloppily chewed on the medium rare steak and spoke with her mouth full, "What? Never seen a beauty eat before? If you want a piece, then crawl to me under the table. Maybe I'll feel good enough to feed a dog like you."

Ya Nuo laughed at her unmannerly image, "Beauty? You? You look like any celebrity off the magazine, but mixed. Have you seen your own face? What? Did you feed on the roaches too much that you got brain damage? Someone who cared so much about gaining weight and limited herself to only two spoonfuls of rice, some pieces of fruits, and few bites of vegetables, is now eating three steaks for breakfast?"

Gu Wing continued stuffing pieces of cut up steak into her mouth and spat out bits of the steak sauce as she spoke, "Shut the fuck up! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be the way I am now!! How does it feel huh? You planned to escape, but now you're trapped in this house! This is Karma! You'll be marrying a rich stranger! You won't get happiness. Oh, you poor unfortunate soul~"

Ya Nuo held up a cloth as Gu Wing spoke to prevent spit from getting onto her, "Karma is real, but not on me. Look at yourself. You changed your looks because you had no confidence in tying this empty man's heart down. Do you think he really cares about you? If you ask him to choose between you and money, we all know which one he would choose. If you don't have a mirror with you, go to the bathroom and look at yourself. Look at the thick layers of foundation that you need to use to cover those surgery scars. Everyone will age, and you will still get wrinkles. So, is this man really worth your time and efforts? You changed your appearance and made yourself into the monster you are right now. Is he worth it?"

Gu Wing gripped her knife firmly and pointed at Ya Nuo like a pistol, "Shut up!!! He loves me!!! I spent all my life and attention on him!! I'm not going to give up that easily. Never. You say these bullshit words now, but you're worse than me. You will end up marrying someone you don't love and be used as a money making tool. So just which part of this makes you so high and mighty huh? What right do you have to judge me? You're as low as this rotten overused old table cloth!"

Ya Nuo slowly put down the cloth that was in her hands and yawned relaxingly,"I only said what I saw. If it isn't real, then why overreact? You know it yourself already. I never asked you to answer my question, but your reaction already shows your answer. Anyways, quit pointing that sharp knife to my direction. He will flip the table on you if he sees your current position. As for my future marriage, you'll see during my engagement party. I'll show you my true happiness. Whether I am happy or not with my future husband, at least I am confident with keeping that man's heart with me."

Ya Nuo's words pinpointed her greatest fears and weaknesses. She thought of retaliating, but couldn't think of anything else she could use as a response. The only thing she could do now is try to keep her composure and continue aiming the knife towards Ya Nuo's direction.

Gu Wing thought to herself silently, 'Since I can't win verbally, I'll still win if I scare you.'

She slowly approached her, pointing the sharp end of the knife facing Ya Nuo. Meanwhile, Ya Nuo was busy enjoying her breakfast and pretended that Gu Wing didn't exist. After receiving the silent treatment, thoughts flashed through her mind. She wanted to scare Ya Nuo at first, but now hurting her physically wouldn't be a bad idea.

Gu Wing stared at the weapon in her hand and then at Ya Nuo, 'If her pretty face is sliced, then that marriage would be called off. Qiu Rei would lose all benefits, and she would be miserable. It's a double win. I'll have him pay for cheating on me and making me feel this shitty about myself. Just a little. Even the slightest touch on her smooth glossy youthful skin will do the trick.'

She lifted her arm and moved the knife in a forward stabbing motion. The strong upward motion was done effortlessly and decisively that it was surely not her first time doing something like this. She calculated everything from the angle to the amount of strength used when aiming the knife towards Ya Nuo's face. Except, she miscalculated Ya Nuo's capability. Since Ya Nuo snuck out during her childhood years to Taekwondo house, she already mastered the defensive moves.

When Gu Wing thought about harming her, Ya Nuo was already a step ahead. She sensed the danger that was coming for her and secretly held a fork in her other hand for emergency use. The knife stabbed violently onto the edge of the chair that Ya Nuo was sitting on. Ya Nuo dodged the attack and knocked the knife out of Gu Wing's hand.

Swoosh

Ya Nuo returned the favor and stabbed Gu Wing's jade like hands with the fork she was hiding. While Gu Wing screamed in agonizing pain, Ya Nuo picked the knife up form the floor and stabbed it into the wall. She clasped her hands and sat down to continue eating her breakfast.

Gu Wing held her bloody hand and cursed endlessly at her, "You moth*rf*cking wretch dared to fight back?! Who raised you all these years? How dare you pig? You... You!!!"

Ya Nuo gave her a deadly glance, and shut her up instantly, "Continue, and it will be your lips that will be sewed. Try me. Right, you should take care of that wound because I used lime juice mixed with hot chili pepper on that fork. Ah, that hand is bruising like a pig. Haha, that could be tonight's dinner."

Gu Wing was terrified by the threat ad bit her lips as she stormed out of the room to have her hand bandaged.
