Chapter 1

I looked out the window of the train, trees, trees, and more trees...

My husband and I were on our way to Nookka.

It was a town filled with many kinds of people, my husband Jonathan had been born here, although he only lived here 'till he was five. He then moved to our old town, where we both met.

"Beverage?" The woman asks.

"I'm fine, thank you."

She walks away asking another person if they'd like a drink. The person hands over some cash before she gives him the drink, although she snatches his watch off his arm without him realising.

I get up from my seat and follow her as she walks down the train, past a few rooms and into what I'm assuming is the kitchen.

She goes in and I follow her from behind, I look around and there was no sign of her.

I open up draws and cupboards thinking that I'd find something, but all I found were spoons, forks, cups, and all that sort of stuff.

I turn around ready to leave when something catches my eye, there was something shiny under the bag on the chair.

I begin walking towards it, weary as to whether or not it'd be a trap. But before I could pick it up...

"What are you doing in here?" The beverage woman asks me.

"I was thirsty..."

"You weren't thirsty five minutes ago."

"That was five minutes ago. Time changes people." I sarcastically say.

She was not amused.

"I'm going to need you to see yourself out before I have you escorted off this train."

"You'd really leave an innocent woman all alone, out in this cold cruel world?" I ask.

She glares at me.

"Fine. I'll go, but don't come to me when you're lonely and want some company."

I walk out of the kitchen admiring the crystal necklace I had just stolen from her.

It must cost a fortune, I'm not sure whether I should return it to whoever it belongs to.

I return to my seat and am greeted by my dearest husband.

"Where were you, love?" He asks.

"I only went into the kitchen."

"You returned empty handed." He said.

I shrugged and relaxed my head on the seat, then close my eyes.

"BOOM"

The train rumbles and I flinch as I open my eyes, I look outside to see a giant hole where the forest used to be.

"Jonathan..."

"It's fine darling, we're okay." He says.

Suddenly, smoke fills the train and all I hear is screaming, yelling and loud booms.
