44 On The Way

After Selena gave the death stare she ripped the camera off the ceiling cutting the feed off from Landon. He could no longer see the room that the previous camera was in and soon enough he lost sight of every single room. However, as Selena was taking the cameras out of the room she didn't forget to take a moment and glare at the camera. It was such a deep and dark glare that Landon considered stopping what he was doing to leave her alone.

If he knew that he had been beating up a person like this the entire time he might have rethought his course of action or done something different. The only reason they were married in the first place was due to their parents.

Selena had a mother and father that had a tradition of marrying off their child to another family so that their company ties could be even stronger. In this case, it was Landon's family that they wanted to strengthen ties with so Landon's parents set him up with Selena. Landon is a gay man but at the time he had no money to support himself besides what his parents were giving him.

They told him that if he accepted the marriage he could continue doing whatever he wanted for as long as he live so that's what he did. Selena didn't want the marriage either but she had promised her dying parents that she would follow through and keep the company alive. Due to both of their circumstances, they became married and soon enough their abusive relationship had begun.

Landon remembered the first time he hit Selena since it was at night time. He had been wanting to go and spend some time with some boy toys that he knew but Selena found out and quickly tried to tell him it was wrong since they were married. That night he punched and beat her until she couldn't talk anymore.

She couldn't go to the police since she was scared Landon would beat her once more or get out of jail due to the influence his parents had. This led him to never get in trouble for his actions until Kanzaki met Selena. At that point, it was over for Landon but he still had no idea what was happening since the cameras had cut out.

'I guess I should go pay these little love birds a visit.' Landon thought with a smile as he grabbed the two men off of his bed to place outside on the street. Most of the time once he was done with them he would put them back to sleep or they were already asleep before Landon took them outside to throw them out onto the street. By the time they woke up the only thing they would have is scratches with blood on their body and a certain place that was quite sore from the strenuous activity Landon put them through.

Once Landon made his decision to go pay Kanzaki a visit he quickly left his apartment but not before he went into his chemical room to grab a few things. Another thing that was in Landon's chemical room that Selena had never been able to get into before was a small little cabinet with all the things he used with the men he used. He opened up the cabinet while grabbing a few things before running out the door toward where Kanzaki lived.

As Landon was making his way over to Kanzaki's location Selena had just gotten off the phone with the police reporting not only her abuse but the weird situation happening at Kanzaki's. The police said that they would assess both situations and would be arriving shortly so both Selena and Kanzaki decided to sit down on his couch to wait until they arrived.

"How does it feel?" Kanzaki asked Selena as he turned toward her. When Kanzaki watched her do the phone call she was shaking most of the time but was still able to push through since Kanzaki was right beside her holding her shoulder in support.

Selena had appreciated this greatly and it also made her realize many things not only about her present circumstances but also about her past, "It feels more than fantastic. I feel like I've been freed from the shackles that have held me back for so long. Even if he does find me and keeps beating me. At this point, I still don't think I will regret what I just did." Selena said her honest feelings about the call.

Even though she was nervous at first, with Kanzaki's help she was able to overcome that and face a fear that had been messing up her life for more than a few years now. It was a relieving feeling that felt so good that she wanted to jump for joy. The biggest thing was that the happy feeling and memory would be connected with Kanzaki as well.

The only times she had ever felt so happy or this way was with Kanzaki, no matter what they were doing. Selena's mind had begun to think it needed to have Kanzaki for happiness and that the source of it all was from him. If he were to ever go away then all that happiness she was having would be gone and she would be back to where she was before.

'I can never let that happen.' Selena thought in her mind with her eyes becoming almost a void. Selena had her head facing another direction so Kanzaki couldn't see the way she was acting but at the same time, she was also thinking about what she would do once the police got a hold of the person putting cameras in Kanzaki's apartment.

She would use every resource at her disposal to get her hands on the culprit to end their lives forever no matter what it took. No matter what strings she had to pull or what blood needed to end up on her hands Selena finally decided that Kanzaki will be hers and hers alone forever.
