Prologue

Maybe it was because I was ignorant.

Or maybe because I was stubborn.

Whatever reason it was, I simply couldn't understand why I was chosen for the job.

The job to save people from the impending doom of villains left and right.

I was barely a Junior in high school, yet I had the weight of the city on my shoulders.

I don't think anyone should be able to feel like this.

At least…not a high schooler anyway.
