12 Fate

In a room covered by white light three beings were talking. "What are you planning third? Bringing the boy to the past and in that particular place?" "The gears of fate are changing, cracking, that boy will help fix the problem. Is that what you want to know second?"

"If you wanted it fixed, why that boy of all people? Even we can't see through his fate." "He is one that can influence fate to the very core, so I used him thinking of that. I have observed him ever since he acquired the blades that will bring about the truth. I know how he will act so I'm sure that there is a 78.53% chance that he would do as I envision."

"Hmm what do you think about this plan first?" The other two beings looked at the silent one. "Nothing, unlike you two, I just like looking at how things will unfold." "Fine I'll just look at how things will unravel as well. It might be kind of fun to see how he would influence fate. He who is supposed to be our future master."

In a room full of tubes, flasks, and scattered books a man with light green hair which was long like a woman's and with bangs that cover a large portion of his face, that made only his grey right eye visible. That man with green hair was scribbling something in a piece of paper. "The experiment cannot be concluded without the specimen." He started muttering to himself. "Oh someone was able to dispose two of my dolls. So that means that beautiful specimen Adela Wingled escaped. To be able to fend off my dolls that are stronger than ten men. I might have stumbled into another great specimen." The weird man shuddered. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Without any rhyme or reason he laughed, and his maniacal laugh resounded throughout the room.

A battlefield in the borders of Kanor one of the human kingdoms, a lone man sat atop a mountain of corpses as he sharpened his blade. He wore nothing and had nothing except for a large lump of steel that he calls a sword.

His black eyes stared at his sword as he sharpened and kept on sharpening it. A battalion of human soldiers entered his sight "Sir Elias the war has ended. Please stop this meaningless slaughter." The commander of the battalion begged Elias to stop.

Yet without answering, Elias had charged towards the battalion with the intention of killing the,. "Men restrain him!" The commander shouted his order to his men. The whole battalion moved just to restrain a single man. Elias cleaved through their ranks. The first to fall were ten men including the commander. Seeing their commander dying the men no longer followed the order to restrain, but instead wanted to kill. They surrounded Elias and attacked at the same time. Elias without even bothering to dodge or defend ripped their formation apart by a simple wave of the lump of steel he called a sword. It was no longer a battle but a one sided massacre. Upon finishing the whole battalion he created a new mountain of corpses. There he sat and sharpened his blade once more.

In a room covered, by the darkness of the night, there was a long table with many chairs. Six men and two women were sitting. In the cover of darkness and spell words, none of them could see the others face. "We of the nine demon lords have gathered. It is time for the overlord to choose one of us as his successor."

"Should we start without the demon lord of the vampires?" one of the women asked. "She is right we cannot choose if not all nine weapons have gathered." Another acknowledged "Then what do you propose. The vampires won't accept a half as their lord." "How about we just kill the little wench so that the scythe may choose a new wielder." Another suggested, "Oh that's a great idea, how about I do it?"

"No let's make a game out of this. We can have a little fun and accomplish the mission." "So what kind of game will we play?" "Let see. How about all of us demon lords track this girl and whoever kills her first wins." "That's alright with me, are there any objections?... None so let the game begin." All of them in the cover of darkness dispersed to begin the hunt.

In a mountain where golden dragons gather a single human girl slept. Her long vermillion hair was tied in a ponytail. She wore a silver armor vest, a long white coat and black trousers. Beside her was a spear decorated to look like a mini dragon snake. "It is time to wake child. It is time to meet the man who will grant you emotions." One of the golden dragons spoke to the girl. The girl did some stretching motions as she awoke. She stood up and with a blank expression nodded at the golden dragon. The girl silently descended the mountain, without a goodbye nor a simple wave to the one who took care of her. "Be well child."

The sword is blocked by the hand and the hand is blocked by the sword. Hina was sparring against Roland bare handed. "You have greatly improved Hina. You're actually able to keep up with my sword, bare handed." "No this isn't enough! I need to be stronger!" Hina remembered Leo's strength compared to him this was nothing but child's play.

'Wait for me Leo I'll become stronger, so that I may walk the same path as you.'

Hiding behind some bushes Toki looked at his daughter with a complicated expression. "I'm happy that she wants to be stronger. I'm even proud that she became this strong so fast.... but but but she's doing it for that boy! Damn that kid showing off to my cute little Hina! I won't accept it! I won't! I should've killed him when he was here. Damn kid he actually dared to steal my Hina's heart. The next time I see you I'll crush you!" Toki started smiling ominously.

"Please teach me how to you use a sword." Adela asked Leo early in the morning. "Huh? Why do you want me to teach you how to use a sword?" Leo asked confused, seeing Leo's attention was on her, Adela started playing with her silver hair. She looked at Leo her face seemed to be a little red. "Well I want to protect myself if need be." "Then why me? I haven't taught anyone before, if you wanted someone to teach you, you could ask your dad to get you an instructor."

"NO! It must be Leo!" Adela shouted not wanting to back down. This move of hers made Leo confused as to what he should do next.

THUS THE COGWHEELS OF FATE MOVE ONWARD. WHETER IT BE TO SALVATION OR DESTRUCTION. NONE NOT EVEN THE GODS KNOW.
