Chapter 213 Dongxue Village Part 15

Hajime sat in the small old pavilion with ten villagers, looking only at the road ahead, constantly observing, wondering who would be the first to approach the pavilion. The more Hajime stared silently at the road, the deeper the worry deepened in his already clouded heart. Hajime sighed, because the conversations of the villagers did not help relieve the worries in his heart, but made his clouded heart heavier, so he began to ignore the villagers and focused all his attention on the dark road ahead.

"I wonder how long we have to wait?" one young man asked.

"If nothing happens, they'll be here soon," a middle-aged man replied, patting the young man's shoulder gently. "Nothing will happen to them."

A villager replied, walking to the middle-aged man and the young man, "If nothing happened to them, they would have arrived long ago. It has been two hours."

Another villager stood up from the ground and said, "You are right, they may encounter some problems on the road." He smiled at the villagers sitting around him to ease their worries. "They saved us, so they're very capable of saving themselves. Don't worry too much. No matter what they encounter, nothing will stop them."

After listening to the opinions of the villagers, Hajime felt a violent kick in his right chest. He grunted and took a deep breath. He leaned against the pillar and closed his eyes, the villagers' voices drawing his attention. He quickly opened his eyes and walked out of the pavilion.

"Is someone running toward us?" a young man said.

"Could that someone be the Taka people?" 

"Don't panic, they can't get in," another villager said.

Hajime stared in the darkness and saw only a black figure running towards them. "I can't tell whether they are friends or enemies," Hajime said. He continued to stare, and as the figure approached, and the one figure now turned into three. "That looks like Michio..." Hajime squinted his eyes, trying to see if he could clearly see who was running towards him. "It is Michio." He raised his hands above his head and waived. "Michio!"

"Hajime!" Michio shouted. "Get ready!"

Hajime turned to the villagers and asked, "Did you hear what he said?"

"I heard him say get ready," one villager said.

Hajime said dumbfounded, "Get ready? Get ready for what?" 

Hajime saw Michio rushing toward him with four children in his arms. He noticed that at the speed Michio was running, it would be difficult for Michio to stop and avoid crashing into the villagers.

"He means to be ready to get out of the way. Get out of his way," Hajime said quickly, and the villagers quickly returned to the pavilion.

As soon as Abrafo, U-ri and Michio arrived at the pavilion, villagers emerged from the pavilion and took the children away from the three Tanzanies. Then the sound of swaying branches and the cry of the gorilla filled the night.

"Yul..." Hajime said, taking a step forward and starting to walk away from the pavilion. 

U-ri quickly grabbed Hajime's right upper arm and said, "You are not allowed to leave."

Hajime panicked and said, "Yul must be in trouble."

Abrafo walked in front of Hajime and said firmly, "Even if he is in trouble, you can't leave here without my permission." He looked down at Hajime belly. "Now, your job is to ensure the safety of my godson. We will handle the rest. Understood?" As soon as Abrafo finished speaking, a small gorilla flew towards him.

"Abrafo!" Michio shouted. He pushed Abrafo aside, away from the fallen gorilla, but when the gorilla was about to collide with Abrafo, the flying gorilla was knocked back by an invisible force for some reason.

The four Tanzanies and villagers watched as the gorilla fell to the ground in front of them. The gorilla stood up slowly, shook his head, and roared at the four Tanzanies and the villagers, but did not try to approach them again.

In the distance, the four Tanzanies and the villagers heard the sound of swords clashing and saw the flash of lightning.

"That must be Yul," Michio said looking at Abrafo.

Hajime and the others saw Yul fighting Xun, and walking behind Xun was a white deer, trailing a few yards behind Xun. When Xun launched an attack on Yul and pushed Yul further back towards the old pavilion, the white deer followed Xun slowly.

"That white deer," Hajime said. 

"What about it?" U-ri asked.

"I've seen that white deer before." Hajime turned to look at the three Tanzanies.

"Really?" Michio asked doubtfully. "I don't remember us encountering any white deer."

U-ri said, "How could you forget? We saw a white deer like this when we met Baishui." He knocked Michio's bald head. "Maybe if you grew some hair, your memory might be better."

Abrafo sighed and said, "Maybe it's a different white deer."

Yul raised his sword and blocked Xun's full attack, causing Yul to slide back a few yards, knowing that he was close to the old pavilion. He heard the running footsteps of the brown gorilla coming from behind him. Yul did a quick backflip, flew over the brown gorilla rushing from behind, pulled out a talisman from his robe, and when he landed, he sent the talisman directly into the brown gorilla's back.

When the talisman flew towards the back of the brown gorilla, it suddenly turned into a glowing arrow and hit the brown gorilla directly in the back, killing him on the spot. However, due to his full charging speed his body fell to the ground a few meters in front of Xun's feet.

"Run to us!" The villagers started shouting at Yul. "Run to us! Hurry!"

When Yul heard the villagers shouting, he turned around and found that he was closer than he thought. He saw Hajime and the others standing unharmed. He rushed towards the old pavilion, which was only fifty meters away.

Xun saw Yul running away for the second time. In anger, he kicked the dead brown gorilla in the head, causing the dead brown gorilla to move sideways. He charged at Yul with fifty gorillas. When he chased Yul, he found that Yul was only ten yards away from him, so he flew forward, rushed into the air, aimed his spear at Yul's back, and used his last remaining strength to release the spear in his hand.

Hearing the incoming spear, Yul quickly turned his body to the left, but he didn't move fast enough, and the tip of Xun's spear scratched his upper arm, Xun's spear bounced off the invisible wall and Xun's spear fell to the ground. By this time, Yul was only five steps away from Hajime and the others. Yul knew that he had enough energy to fight Xun and his monkey army, but he decided to retreat to the village because winning the battle against Xun and his monkey army was not his main adjective. He tried to walk towards Hajime and the others, but he couldn't go any further. Yul raised his right hand and began to feel the air in front of him. To his surprise, there was some kind of invisible wall blocking him from entering the other side.

"What are you waiting for? Come towards me now," Abrafo said angrily.

"It seems I can't go any further," Yul said looking at Hajime and the others.

U-ri asked, "What you mean?"

Yul said, "There was something blocking my way in."

Hajime walked forward worriedly. "How is it possible? We had just walk in. Why can't you walk in?" Hajime said, and when he turned to ask the villagers, he saw Yul's left-hand bleeding. He looked behind Yul, he saw Xun and his army of gorillas was chasing less than twenty yards away. Hajime's heart was filled with anger. Hajime walked towards Yul angrily.

"Hajime, what are you doing?" Yul asked.

Hajime gasped angrily and slid the thumb of his right hand over the four fingertips. He took four steps forward, facing Xun and his gorilla's army. He put his hand into the cross bag and held the wooden figure tightly in his hand.

Yul walked quickly to Hajime and found that Hajime no longer paid attention to him. "Hajime," he said looking at Hajime who had closed his eyes. Yul felt the ground beneath his feet begin to move, and the sound of vines breaking forward echoed in the night. "Hajime! Stop right now!"

Ten steps in front of Hajime, vines rose from the ground and quickly formed a wooden woman standing in front of Hajime and Yul.

Abrafo turned to Michio and U-ri. "We haven't seen this move from Hajime," Abrafo said. 

U-ri said, "Well, me neither, but I know that on the days when you go out hunting, he normally trains with Master Budi."

Yul shook Hajime. "Hajime, listen to me. Don't use your energy," Yul said worriedly, because he knew that if Hajime used too much of his energy, he would become so weak that he would pass out when his craft was destroyed. "Hajime..." Yul saw Hajime suddenly opening his eyes, and Hajime's eyes turned red. Seeing Hajime's angry red eyes, Yul knew that he couldn't stop Hajime at this moment.

Hajime looked at Xun and the gorillas who had surrounded them and sneered. "Kill," he said with a smile.
