Chapter 173 Mystery In Stone Valley Part 3

Entering the small stone hut, Hajime saw U-ri writing his journal on the stone bed. "After I took a bath, I felt ten pounders lighter," Hajime said, as he walked towards the bed. "I threw the clothes away. I don't believe washing them will get rid of the stench of rotting flesh smell." 

"Lady Lai invited us to dinner, so we don't need to cook." U-ri put down his brush and looked up at Hajime. "At this time, the news of the pure phoenix egg should have reached Lady Lai's ears." 

Hajime walked to his bag on the bed, took out a round rock, and sat on the edge of the stone bed opposite U-ri. "U-ri..." Hajime put the white round rock on the bed. 

U-ri quickly put down the brush and picked up the round rock. "How did you get another pure phoenix egg?" he asked happily as he began to examine the round rock. 

Hajime said, "I thought you would like one as a souvenir." 

U-ri placed the round rock on the bed and looked at Hajime. "Souvenir? What do you mean?" 

Hajime said, "This is just a rock. When I left the true Phoenix Chamber, I picked up two rocks and planned to give them to you as a souvenir. However, the participants mistakenly thought that these rocks were the pure phoenix eggs." 

U-ri's jaw dropped, "So, there are no pure phoenix eggs?" 

Hajime said, "Maybe there is, but due to time constraints, we can't find it." 

U-ri said disappointedly, "What a pity... I thought what you gave me was a pure phoenix egg." He picked up the round rock from the bed. "Well, at least, we got something to commemorate our journey through life and death in that man eater chamber." 

Hajime smiled. 

U-ri looked at Hajime and asked, "So, besides you, who else knows about this?" 

Hajime said, "Yul and Abrafo." 

U-ri smiled and shook his head. "No wonder Yul is so determined for Michio to give up that pure phoenix egg." 

Hajime smiled and said, "You can keep it a secret for now. Oh, by the way, Lady Bi told me that she will send someone to notify us immediately after the others arrive." 

After walking down Sunsends Mountains for almost two hours, the large group of participants finally reached Stone Valley as the sun dipped halfway down the horizon. As the three Tanzanie looked around to see where Hajime and U-ri might be, two men quickly approached them. 

"You three Sirs, are you Sir U-ri's teammates?" asked one of the servants. 

"Sir U-ri? When did he become team leader?" Abrafo asked. 

Yul said, "We are." 

The servant said, "We were told to wait for you and take you back to our camp. This way, dear gentlemen." 

Yul and Michio followed the two servants, and when Abrafo noticed that Bong was about to follow them back to the camp, he quickly stopped Bong. 

"Your Highness, I brought you safely back to Stone Valley. Now it's time for us to part ways forever," Abrafo said with a smile. "I believe that before you went to Scattered Forest, you had already made plans to arrange for you to be picked up from here." 

Bong looked at Abrafo madly. "After going through so much, do you really want to sever ties with me?" He gritted his teeth and said angrily. 

Abrafo scoffed and said, "Hey, stop it. First, there is no relationship between us, so there is no reason to sever ties with you. Secondly, being separated from you is exactly what I want, so stop following us and act more honorable like a prince." Abrafo quickly chased after Yul and Michio. 

"Your Highness," Master Lu said softly, standing next to Bong. 

Bong looked at Master Lu angrily. "Where is my camp?" 

Master Lu said, "Your Highness, this way." He smiled. "I have already told the maids to prepare the bath water. What do you want to do first? Eat, take a bath, or have fun." 

Bong gritted his teeth and said, "I want to kill someone." He turned around and walked with Master Lu towards the camp prepared for him by Master Lu. 

The two servants led the three Tanzanies into a large tent. There was a round table in the tent, filled with all kinds of food, and Yue was already sitting at the table. 

As soon as the three Tanzanies entered the tent, Yue stood up and said with a smile, "Congratulations on your safe return. Please sit down. Sir U-ri and the others will be here soon." 

The three Tanzanies sat around the table, Yul looked at Yue. He said, "We have something to discuss with you privately."

"I also have something to discuss with the five of you in private," Yue said, looking at the maids and servants in the tent. "Everyone, please leave. Bi, tell the guards to guard the tent and no one is allowed to come near." 

Bi nodded and walked out with the maid and servants. After Bi walked out of the tent and gave instructions to the guards, Hajime and U-ri walked towards the tent. 

Bi smiled and said, "Sir U-ri, your friend and my lady are inside." She pulled the curtain aside, and Hajime and U-ri walked in. 

Hajime and U-ri sat on the two chairs closest to the door. 

Yue said, "Let's eat and talk." 

Yul looked at Yue and said disappointedly, "We entered the Phoenix Chamber, but we couldn't find the pure phoenix eggs." 

Yue looked at Yul and asked in surprise, "Really? I heard that Lord Lixin has the pure phoenix egg." 

Hajime said, "We originally thought that the pure phoenix egg might be something else, but we searched everywhere in the Phoenix Valley and found nothing. The egg that Lord Lixin had was just rock we I found at the bank of a lake inside Phoenix Valley." 

"I'm sorry, my lady, that we've let you down," U-ri said. "But we collected water from the lake inside the Phoenix Chamber. Maybe this water can help you." 

Yue sighed and said, "I originally hoped that the pure phoenix egg could help me save my sister's life." She stood up. "I have something to show you all." 

The five Tanzanies walked towards a large and long wooden box. She pressed the bottom of the box on the top cover and the top lifted. Lying in a box filled with ice cubes was another woman who looked exactly like Yue. 

Abrafo asked, "Who is she?" 

Yue said, "My twin sister Yun." She turned and looked at Yul. "She was the one who approached you in the market, not me." She sighed. "When she came home that night, she wanted our parents to give her their blessing to have a relationship with you, but father refused. She got frustrated and started soiling the house, destroying everything she saw in the house. She accidentally kicked my cat and killed her. I was so angry with her that I yelled at her to kill herself and stop causing trouble for other people, so she did. She drank a bottle of poison. Bi and I arrived in time and saved her life, but we could only prevent her from dying, but we could not completely detoxify her body." 

U-ri said, "I have a theory, but I don't know if it's feasible?" 

"I'm open to any suggestions at this point," Yue said. 

U-ri said, "We found that the mist in Scattered Forest is nothing more than poisonous mist. This poisonous mist can bring people back to life." 

Abrafo grabbed U-ri's arm and said, "Are you suggesting poisoning her with the poison mist of Scattered Forest." 

U-ri said, "Once the person is poisoned, they die, and when they die, they come back to life as one of those dead men. My theory is that we could give her the poison. Then cure the poison before she turns." 

Yue asked, "Well this work?" 

U-ri said, "I don't know, but this is the only solution I can think of right now. Whether to try it or not... it's entirely up to you, my lady." 

Yue sighed and said, "Let's try it. I don't know what else to do." 

Michio looked at U-ri and asked, "Do we have to go back to Scattered Forest?" 

U-ri said, "No...." He grabbed a bottle filled with a thick dark liquid. 

Abrafo asked, "What is this?" 

U-ri smiled and said, "Blood of dead man." 

Hajime looked at U-ri and asked, "When did you get this?" 

U-ri said, "Participant Meng kill a dead man who approached us, so I decided to collect some blood samples." 

Abrafo shook his head in disbelieve. He asked, "So, while we are fighting for our lives, you are happily collecting blood samples?" 

U-ri put the glass bottle on the table and said, "You should be happy because of me, those people didn't die." U-ri turned to Yue. "My Lady, are you sure?" 

Yue nodded. 

U-ri looked at Yul and said, "Dagger." He opened the top of the glass bottle. 

Yul pulled out the dagger and handed it to U-ri. Then, U-ri poured a little blood on the tip of the dagger and placed the glass bottle containing the blood on the table. Then, U-ri walked to the wooden box and scratched an inch on Yun's right arm with the tip of his dagger. U-ri returned the dagger to Yul. 

"Wash with this," U-ri said, handing Yul the water bag filled with water from the lake in the true Phoenix Chamber. 

U-ri picked up the ceramic cup and drank all the water in the cup. He took out a small mortar and pestle, then took out two leaves and began to crush the green leaves. 

U-ri said, "Keep an eye on her. Once she makes a move and opens her eyes, we need to give her the antidote immediately." He continued to crush the two green leaves. After the two green leaves were crushed very finely, he poured the leaves into a cup and added a small amount of water from the lake inside the true Phoenix Chamber. 

Yue said, "Let's eat while we wait." 

Hajime looked at the food on the table and suddenly felt nauseous. Looking at the roast pig, chickens, and ducks on the table, he felt like his mouth was watering in disgust. Hajime grabbed two apples from the table. 

Hajime said, "You guys go ahead and eat. I'm not hungry. I will keep watch." 

Yul asked, "Are you sure?" 

Hajime said, "Yeah. If you're worried... I'll just eat these. You go eat." He turned around, walked towards the wooden box, and picked up the apple in his hand. When he no longer sees roasted pig, chickens, and ducks, he no longer feels sick. When he was about to put the second apple into his mouth, Yun opened her eyes. 

Hajime turned around and said, "U-ri, she opened her eyes." 

Yue's eyes were wide open, and her heartbeat was racing. Yue's hand suddenly shook and the cup in her hand fell to the ground. She quickly rushed to the wooden box. U-ri grabbed the cup of antidote and rushed after Yue. 

Yue was excited and worried, she quickly turned around to get U-ri's attention but didn't realize that U-ri was only three steps behind her, so when she turned around, U-ri was already beside her, so she knocked the medicine from U-ri's hand to the ground with her right arm. 

Yue gasped, "Oh no... I'm sorry..." She covered her mouth with her hands.
