Gratitude

She walked toward one of the injured lying in the bed. The man had a large wound in his stomach area, as one of the monster's claws had pierced him. He exclaimed in pain as he looked at Mera's face.

Mera first touched some of the blood that flowed from the man's wound and drew a strange symbol upon his body. After that, she forced some of her spirit energy into the wound, and at that moment, the wound began to rapidly close and heal.

"Uhh. Thank you... Thank you very much," the man said as he looked at the wound that was closing rapidly.

Mera presented him with a smile as she moved onto the other injured.

"Can I get that crystal now?" asked Akiel from the man closest to him.

"Not now. What if you just ran out of here after I gave it to you? It's not like I alone can stop you," said the man as he looked at the man who had recently been helped by Mera.
