At the hospital after six hour of surgery and still there isn't any sign of Cole getting out of the operation room, most of his family went back home leaving Mr Wayne and Carl waiting outside the door. Carl manage to give some news to Aurora and she confirm she will deal with the rest. Now they're just waiting silently for Cole to be out from the operation room.

"How did you know Aurora?" His grandfather finally break the silent between them. He never had a good relationship with any of his family members and that include his grandfather since he was label as a troublemaker and useless. No one really cares about him. So talking with his grandfather it feels awkward.

"She save my life." He answered curtly.

"Then how come when she was married with your brother you act like you don't know her? And watch her getting the unfair treatment from your parent?"

"We were ordered not to do anything no matter what. Aurora don't want us to be involve in the so called promise of yours. In fact if all of us knew about the matter, we would rush back and stop her from agreeing with you." To this day all of them are still bitter about this matter. And when Carl remembered it was his own grandfather who made Aurora do all this, he feels regretful.

"It sound like you would kill for her if she ever got hurt. Would kill one of your family member if they did injured her?" Mr Wayne seeing this side of Carl made him realize there's more than meet the eye. He too was shallow thinking. Using his poor sighted eye to judge his own grandson. And would only give his entire attention to Cole disregarding others.

"I would. She's the only one who never judge me for my past nor my character. She accept me for who i am and treated me like her own family. If i can choose my own family, i will choose her to be my everything." Carl said with determined eye shone in his eye.

"Is everything my fault? Do you blame me for dragging Aurora?" Seeing Carl looking cold towards him, Mr Wayne couldn't help but blame himself more. With Cole always being targeted ever since he chose to ignore others and ruthlessly judging others deem unqualified to inherit his company. To go far as wanting to create a brighter future for Cole by making Aurora his wife with the stupid promise. He finally see that what he did is out of his selfishness.

"I am not the one to judge your decision. But regarding dragging Aurora into our messy problematic family war i can't help but resent you for the past three years she's in the family." Carl spat in disdain. Mr Wayne kept his mouth shut seeing the way Carl looking at him as if he was his enemy. Aurora must have save him for Carl to be willing to sacrifice everything even his own family just to see Aurora in good health and have a happy life. He wonder what really happen back then and Aurora's past. Just like that, silence enters the hall once again. None seem to want to continue with the conversation. An hour later, the sound of heel clicking along with two others steady steps breaks into the silence. Carl face start to brighten up as he look toward the other end of the hall.

"She's here." He said before going towards the three figures who are walking steadily towards them. All three figures attract other people's attention but not for long when a group of guards blocking their view.

"You're here." Carl said happily. Aurora nod her head.

"How's he?"

"Still not out yet."

"Caleb."

"On it."

Just like that, Caleb enter the operation room and the hallway are now full with a couple of guards. Clearing the surrounding and making the place secure. Carl can finally sighed in relief. With Aurora around, Cole will be fine. Whats-more she brought Caleb with her. Things will be fine.
