Koda smirked as he looked at his new stats. He was growing, much slower than he wanted of course, but he felt, and looked much better than he had four months ago when he had been getting his ass beat every day.

"Koda, are you in there?" his mother's voice called from outside his door, interrupting his thoughts as he quickly closed the stat window.

"Yeah, what's up?" Koda replied.

The door creaked open, and his mother stepped inside. Behind her was a familiar face, Sakura Amaterasu, who looked a bit annoyed to be here.

"I'll... Leave you two alone," His mother said, her face a bit red as she closed the door.

A few seconds later it was Sakura's turn to blush as they both heard his mother, who was clearly on the phone talking to one of her friends, say "He finally got a girlfriend! I had no hope I would ever get grandkids but my Koda has finally done it!"

"Hey there, Sakura," Koda said with a playful grin. "Didn't expect to see you here," He said, but his smile faded. "How did you even know where I live?"

"I googled your name, the internet has everything nowadays," She said simply looking around his room with interest.

"Hmm... Surprisingly normal teenage boys room, if I saw this and didn't know you I wouldn't even suspect you're an egotistical narsicistic dick..."

Koda smirked in response, not taking offense. "I'll take that as a compliment. So, what brings you to the den of the egotistical narcissistic dick? Not just for the good company, I hope?"

Sakura rolled her eyes and got straight to the point. "Actually, I have a favor to ask. It involves your, um, unique skills."

Koda raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Go on. I'm all ears."

Sakura hesitated for a moment, choosing her words carefully. "There's this annual event at our high school called the 'Underpass Battle.' It's... well, a battle royale of sorts between the top ranks in the school. I'm injured and my second has a broken leg... It's how we decide the leader."

Koda's curiosity deepened as Sakura explained the situation. "So you want me to step in as the leader of your high school for this 'Underpass Battle'? Sounds simple… but what's in it for me?"

Sakura continued, her tone more persuasive. "Think about it, Koda. You've got a chance to prove yourself as a leader, not just a fighter. This could take your reputation to a whole new level. Besides, it's an adrenaline rush, something I know you thrive on."

Sakura smiled at him, clearly thinking that was enough, but Koda wasn't convinced.

"Hmm... Nah, I want something else," He said mischievously. "If I win and keep you as Kakoyama's number 1... You go on a date with me."

Sakura frowned at Koda's condition. "A date? Seriously?"

Koda leaned in, his playful grin still firmly in place. "Oh, come on, Sakura. It's not every day I get to be a high school hero, and I could use a little fun outside of all my... business. A date with the best fighter in Kakoyama should suffice."

Sakura sighed, realizing Koda wouldn't budge. "Fine, a date if you win, but don't expect it to be anything special."

"Hah, great, all I need to do is beat a few chumps around and I score a date with the black flame, sounds like a great quest for me..."

Quest Created: Battle at The Underpass

Objective 1: Win The Battle at The Underpass

Secret Objective: ???

Reward: Territory function unlocked, [Territory: Kakoyama High]

"Quest? What are you a nerd?" Sakura said, giving him a weird look.

Koda rolled his eyes. "Maybe I shouldn't do this, I mean the date isn't even gonna be any goo-"

Koda stopped talking as Sakura pressed her lips against his, nothing to crazy just a quick peck, but it left Koda speechless.

"Shut up… Just win it and we'll see," Sakura said, leaving his room quickly as Koda stood there, still shocked.

'Damn, I was just messing with her,' Koda thought, touching his lips. "Well… I guess I can win."

...

"Why are you here Koda?" Hana asked, looking at Koda in the night as he looked up at the stars.

He laid atop the school roof, he had called Hana but he hadn't actually expected her to show up.

"You are way too obedient given everything I've done to you Hana..." Koda said quietly as Hana laid next to him.

She kept her gaze on the stars, her voice soft. "I don't know, Koda. Maybe it's because deep down, I still believe there's some goodness left in you. You're not just the ruthless guy you pretend to be."

Koda chuckled. "That's fucking corny. You're too naive... That's why you're out."

Hana turned to Koda, her expression confused as he stood up, yawning and stretching.

"W-What do you mean?" She asked, her voice shaking as Koda looked down at her.

"I'm letting you go, for real this time," Koda said sighing a bit as he heard her reaction.

She began sobbing next to him, his words enough to break her.

"Why!?" She exclaimed, jumping up and grabbing Koda's hands, tears falling down her face.

"Please I can still be useful!" She screamed desperately, clutching his wrists tightly as Koda smiled softly.

"Yeah… But honestly I don't even know what I'm doing, am I just being a piece of shit to be a piece of shit? I don't know… I guess killing rio has my mind all fucked up…"

Hana didn't listen to a word Koda said, still clinging to him and holding his hand tightly.

"Please I'll show you!" She screamed with tears flowing down her face as she dropped back down and started unzipping his pants.

Koda sighed as she eagerly pulled them down but he stopped her at the last second.

"Hana, you're free," Koda said, patting her head before getting dressed once again and leaving the rooftop…

"What… Do I even have to live for…" Hana muttered as she shook on the rooftop…
