(Danny Pov.)

Looks like I'm last man standing I suppose. I successfully absorbed the two. It's a weird feeling. It's like I'm me which is also not me. I exist and I don't.

I'm not exactly sure if they are truly gone. Are they? Do souls actually lost after it's absorbed? I have many questions... even the demonic key doesn't know a thing about what is happening to me.

Shiit! What is this headache?! Something is tearing me inside! Oh shit! It's those fcking two! I bite off more than I can chew!?

(Percy's POV)

So this is Danny's mindscape, A ruined house in a middle of nowhere. I must say it's unexpected for someone who is powerful enough to contend with Zadicus.

Me and Zadicus are currently in front of house. We didn't entered it but rather looked outside. It was just one massive grass plain to further beyond my sight. I looked into the sky and felt the refreshing breeze of wind.

I must say, he had normal taste I guess. This should pretty much his personality.

He was a calm individual with patience but deep inside the calm is a broken heart.

This ruined house represented that heart. I remembered one specific thing that happened, there was a massive fire and there was a big family. Only two survived.

He said that he didn't regretted it but what is this... Why is this house deep inside your heart?

Perhaps your heart died together with the house.

I looked into Zadicus that went inside by now. I have no doubt he is currently rampaging inside.

The mindscape started to shake and everything went blank.

We returned again to Zadicus mindscape. I must say, how come Zadicus is the main mindscape rather than mine or Danny? Is it because Zadicus is the strongest? Perhaps.

I found Danny kneeling in the ground, currently weak. But I'm not going to take advantage of that neither Zadicus.

"Bit off more than you can chew?" Zadicus grinned, mocking danny's plight.

"Yeah. Looks like my assumptions are wrong. I thought that once I successfully got absorbed you, perhaps with the special properties of my soul, it can easily desovle the two of you but looks like I'm wrong." Danny admitted pretty easily, he even told the reason why he did it.

"What do you think will happen if I devoured you then?" Zadicus happy expression turned angry instantly.

"Same outcome. You can't devour me nor I can devour you. It's simple as that. You think I didn't know you tried to devour me while I was napping? " Danny shrugged it off and stood up.

Zadicus didn't say anything.

After that was a long silence. I must say we are really in a weird situation.

"Alright, let's just rest. Tomorrow's another training day for Percy."

Danny smiled and went off.

After that episode, everything went calm. Zadicus's training, Danny's adventures in the capital and a bit reading. They still bicker a lot which is still annoying.

I still feel uncomfortable everytime I remember that day, where Danny said those words to my mother.

He looked at her in a very different way.

I must say he set his eyes on her, I wanted to protect her and escape faraway from this cold palace but I have a feeling that too became what Danny desired. I don't dare imagine what Danny wanted to do with her.

So I rather stay here for a while until I find a way to separate with this crazy bastard.

Months have passed and it's my turn. Roy still hasn't returned. I'm not exactly sure what his doing but I have a vague feeling he is searching for a cave. I don't remember anything that much from Danny's memories.

In any case, I'm currently moving towards my father's study where he is looking at those papers.

I'm already educated to the bones but I'm not talented, especially compared to my talented half siblings, I'm average.

In any case, I want to do some adventuring, to gain experience. I'm already 20 and yet I'm ignorant.

I arrived at my father's door and knocked thrice.

"Your Majesty, it's Prince Percy Swordstar. " I said not too loud nor too soft, enough for him to hear. I really hate etiquettes.

"Come in."

I opened the door and saw the neatly arranged papers on the table.

There were nothing much inside the emperor's study. A map of the entire empire at the wall and a sofa under it.

He sat in his simple but comfortable chair, he dropped the paper in his hand and calmly looked at me.

I stood in front of him and bowed once.

"What is it?" He scrutinised me and studied my every move.

"I wish to seek experience outside the capital."I studied every minuscule of his face for any change of expression but to no avail, he doesn't even looked surprised when his sheltered coward son suddenly wants to go outside.

"I see, approved." He nodded and took something under.

He took a paper and stamped on it. He gave it too me and I graciously received it.

"Any further requests?" He asked.

"I would like to request for the guards that are following me to be dismissed and assigned for another job. I want to experience things on my own."

"Alright. I'll tell Markus that. You may now leave, take care son, it's a dangerous world out there." He said to me straight into my eyes.

"I will, thank you. I shall start packing." I bowed. What a fate to be born in a Royal Family.

I showed myself way out and went to my mother, she will definitely make a fuss about it.

'It's time for us take control of this story.' Zadicus suddenly said and laughed. Completely excited of taking advantage of knowing the future. Yes, we will use Danny's memories and changed this damn story.

'What a drag, but I must say, it would be more interesting to be in Roy's party.' Danny laughed too.

Indeed, how I am supposed to win Lea's heart if I don't get close to her? It will be hard but it will be worth it. Getting into Roy's high rank party, we must first be high rank too and the fastest way to be high rank is through experience, damn painful experiences.

We too talked about forming our own party and invite Lea in but we realized it would be not feasible as Lea really liked Roy's party. They already formed a bond with each other after a lot of encounters.

Inviting her in would be almost impossible. If we could massacre the party though, the future will change drastically to the point danny's knowledge about the future will be useless.

(Danny's POV)

Two days passed and it's my turn, we finally got packed and ready.

'I must say, Maria's definitely queen amongst queen. Smelling her soft silky hair, Her ripe body hugging me tightly! Yes! Oh no! Little dragon, calm down or she might notice, if not for the fact I'm currently in this body, I already courted you already. Wait until I gained my own body, I'll definitely make Percy my step son.'

'You damn horny shit.' Percy cursed at me,

'Oh come on, I'll definitely take care of her, not like your so great emperor father who has dozens of women if not hundreds.'

'Why would I let mt mother be with a madman and besides, mother already loves my father very much!' Percy roared.

'How about I ask you this, If you become the emperor, will you cherish Lea?'

'Of course!'

'Will you make her the empress?'

'If that what she wanted then I will make her empress.'

'After making her the empress, will you take concubines and consorts?' I asked

'Well, yeah, isn't thay what I must do?' Percy answered but it carried a hesitant tone.

'But you love her right? Why would you take other women?'

'I love her but I'm still the emperor, I should still have those women, having the officials weaknesses.' Percy said.

'Are they really a weakness? The fact those families are willing to give up those women for the sake of profit, do you really have a hold of their weakness?'

'See? Having a harem is bullshit. I still have a lot to say about it but now is not the time.'

'Alright, since we are talking about harems and love, do you love my mother? '

'I desire your mother no doubt but Love? That I don't know. Love is different for every individual.'

'I see. Let's just start the journey. I thought mother would make a fuss.' Percy said.

'Well, She knows someday her son would grow up you know, it's not like she could keep you forever in a cage. She already knew that and doesn' t restrict you as much as before, Haven't you noticed ever since that day you ran away. She already started to let you go. She used to be controlling of you right? She just let you go a bit too late though. HAHAHAHA, Can't blame her since this is the Royal family we are talking about, full of schemes and isolation. if not for you, perhaps she already would turn mad. '

Percy went silent. Now that I mentioned silence, I realized Zadicus is silent too. He was the one who suggested this adventure.

I called for him but it seems he is taking a nap.

Nevermind, let's just go.

I am excited for what the future holds. we already changed the plot drastically the moment we went on an adventure. Percy was not supposed to get out.

"Oh my goodness, why did it have to be now? "

I looked at the girl who punched me at the face the moment she saw me.

"Well well, Look what we have here?" She coldly grinned. I'm definitely fcked up, I didn't even got outside the capital and yet I already encountered a boss level bitch.
