"Lava release: Lave armor"

"Well, it took you long enough to finally use it," Ren says as the lava covering his body slow disappears returning the area to the normal temperature.

"You knew I had ice release?" Ami asked

"Of course the Tsuchikage told me, if you thought you kept it hidden you are far too naive, nothing happens in this village without Tsuchikage knowing about it, if it did he wouldn't be a good leader would he?" Ren asked.

"I guess your right, so what's going to happen to me know?" Ami asked clearly worried.

"Relax, you are lucky to be born in this village than in any other, if it were the village hidden in the cloud you would have become a breeding pig, in the leaf, you would have most likely killed for having a connection with the Yuki clan, Taking everything into account the mist and sand village are weak, but the stone village values talent and nurtures them and is in there in strength with the leaf and cloud," says Ren.

"So, I'm free to do as I like?"

"Of course, as long as you remain loyal to the village the village will always protect you, but this fight has lasted long enough." Said Ren as he turns into a puddle of water.

"A water clone." Ami quickly looks around on full alert looking for any signs of Ren.

"Where is he?" she mumbles.

"Below!" a shout enters her ears as a hand burst out the ground grabbing hold of her foot she is dragged underground leaving only her head exposed.

"The test is finished, I will tell you the result once the other two wake up," says Ren as he raises out of the ground in front of Ami.

"We couldn't even land a hit on you," Ami says in a frustrated voice.

(2 hours later)

"You two finally decided to wake up." Says Ren as Gari and Kitsuchi open their eyes and sit up.

Seeming to have understood their current situation, their expression shows frustration and sadness.

"You three had one thing to do land one hit one me and you would have passed the test, but I spotted a lot of problems starting with you Gari.

You were not able to keep your emotions in check, which lead to you ignoring the plan formed between you three as a team earlier putting your teammate's lives in danger, secondly, you tried to use a form of explosion release you were not ready for and almost injured your teammate.

Ami you are clearly more talented in ninjutsu but didn't use any till the end, if you had used it earlier it would have helped your team a lot, all though you had your reasons a team can not function properly without trust.

Kitsuchi you assumed the role of leader and for that all failures present fall on your shoulders, if you can't control your team you have no right to have one, apart from that your performance was alright you assumed the role of leader and did so to the best of your ability while all so sticking to what you did best earth release." Ren spoke not sugarcoating anything as all three had their fists clenched and the expression on their face was ugly, with tears threatening to fall from their eyes.

(2 minutes later)

Feeling he had let them feel frustrated long enough Ren spoke again.

"But, you three showed the very high potential that if cultivated properly can be of use to the village, and it that potential that allowed you to pass, meet me here tomorrow, come knowing what kind of ninja you want to be, and ready to go through hell to become that ninja." saying that Ren disappeared but looking closely he hadn't gone far as he appeared in front of the woman.

Ren appeared in front of a woman dressed in a white kimono, with a black belt and a sword strapped to her side, she was beautiful and the kimono did little to hide her curves.

" Saeko, you have been watching for a while, I see you just came back from a mission."

"I never thought you would become a jonin sensei," Saeko says

"Well I train you don't I?" asked Ren

"You do, but you saw something in me, what is exactly do you see in those kids?"

"I see the something I saw in you, the future of the hidden stone. They may not be much right now but if you slack off it won't be long before they surpass you in strength," says Ren as he vanishes

" Like I would let that happen," says Saeko as she looks at three left on the ground feeling sorry for themselves, and disappears as well.

(In the Tsuchikage office)

" So, Ren what do you think about them?" Onoki asked not looking up from his paperwork.

" They have talent. I can see them becoming pillars of the village in time, along with Saeko."

"That's high praise coming from you, but Ren what is your opinion what will be the gap between the villages in the upcoming war?" Onoki asks
