Lion Sage

As Ren and Haru continue to walk through the grasslands, Ren noticed a change as the trees got bigger and stronger and the young lion in this area increased in size the first set he saw where the size of a normal lion then these were as big as bears.

"Hey, Haru why is this place inhabited by bigger lions than the first area?" asked Ren

"the prideful grassland are divided into four areas, the area for the young lions then it has an area for the older lions who are too old to live with the young lions but are too young to live with the adult lion then there is the area for the adult lions, and the last area is the temple of the lion sage which is where I am taking you now," answers Haru

As they walked they finally reach a walkway with statues on each side each of which was of a lion each had a different color, Manes, from brown to red, Haru looked at these statues with respect as he walked to the end of the path with Ren following behind, at the end of the walkway there is a temple standing tall made of what looks like white rock, as they arrived at the main door, Haru took a deep breath then.

ROAR!!!!!!!!

The sound that left his mouth shocked Ren as it was not what you expected from a creature of Harus size, it caused no damage to the surroundings but the door in front of them started opening when Ren could hear footsteps approaching from deep inside the temple, as he and Haru stood there waiting a figure appeared standing on two legs a small lion appeared dressed in armor, even smaller than Haru, but Ren instincts were crying out for him to run as his backfilled with sweat that soaked through his shirt making it stick to him.

"Oh, it's you little Haru, have you come for more advice with your training or just to bring this possible summoner to me?" asked the little lion

"It both sir," answered Haru

"OH, he quite the human, he has all affinities even space yin and yang very talented, any sage region would be happy to have you as a summoner young man, but it, not the same for the Lion sage region we are too prideful to accept you just because of that, or we would have had at least one summoner but up to this day we have not, so what so say human do you want to challenge the tests of lion sage region or do you want to wait until another sage region try to contact you." asked the lion sage

"I'll take the test," answers Ren without hesitation.

"prefect, I said tests, but there are only two, and you have already passed one, the first test was to test affinity we only accept summoners with nature affinities of more than three, the second is two defeat one of the lions from the Adult area, don't worry it will be one who is around your same level of strength."

As he said that he tapped his foot on the ground as a wave spread out, and a minute later a distant roar was heard and the ground began to shake as the silhouette of a giant lion appeared running towards them from the distance.

"The fight has already begun." said the Lion sage

Ren needing to hear nothing else disappears from his spot using his Swift release and appears close to the giant lion who seems to sense him as it roars in his direction letting out sound waves that destroy the land around them, but luckily Ren manages to dodge, and speeds through hand seals.

"Fire release; Great Fire Annihilation."

A literal sea of fire is expelled from Ren's mouth as it crashes down on the lion and destroys all the surrounding trees turning the area into a scorched wasteland as smoke envelopes the giant lion and Ren fall from the air landing on a tree as he waits for the smoke to clear.

"Hahaha, human that was a strong Jutsu."

Rem hears a voice talk to him from the smoke as he hears heavy footsteps as the lion emerges from the fire completely fine the only difference being it Mane that was brown before is now red.

"What your name?" asks the lion

"Ren"

"What yours?"

"I'm, Hokori"

"Well Hokori can you tell me why your mane changed color to red?" asked Ren

"Hahaha, you'll find out eventually."

Hokori opens his mouth as a huge fireball shot out at ren the fireball completely blocks out the sky as Ren watches it come closer he slams his hands into the ground and begins pouring chakra.

"Earth release; Multi-layered giant defensive shell."

The Earth underneath Ren mobilizes as it shoots up forming multiple layers above him each bigger than the last as the fifth layer is about to be formed the fireball crashes into it.

BOOM!!
