Chunin Exams final & Will of stone

Ren stands on the battlefield for the last time for the chunin exams, as he waits for his opponent for the finals to appear.

"Now, the next participant of the finals of this year's chunin exams, Sato Masumi." the proctor shouts as another person suddenly appears on the field.

"Now the two participants are present the match may begin."

"Earth release: earth clone Jutsu" exclaims Sato as an identical clone of his forms from the ground next to him.

Not wasting any time Sato and his clone rush Ren from both sides each with a sword in hand.

Seeing the incoming attack Ren waste no time and rushes to meet them head-on as he easily deflects a sword strike from the clone with a kunai, then pushes the kunai now enhanced by wind chakra through it heads towards the real Sato.

As Sato dodges the attack just barely as a small cut appears on his face as blood drips to the ground, as the kunai cuts into the ground as it comes to a stop.

"Fire release: great fireball Jutsu" Ren blows out a huge ball of fire as it speeds towards Sato.

"Earth Release: Earth wall Jutsu" a wall of earth rises in front of Sato and as the fireball collides with it destroying it and creating a cloud of dust, while the fireball lost its momentum comes to a stop and disappears.

As the dust clears Sato could be seen standing there unmoving looking at ren with a smile on his face.

Looking at the smile Ren frowns' something wrong'

Crack!

The ground below Ren's feet opens and two hands come out almost grabbing onto his foot, but Ren was quick to react and jumped into the sky.

Seeing the result he wanted, Sato started to smile even more.

"You can't dodge now, can you?"

"Wind Release: high-pressure wind bullets," Says Sato as he sped through hand seals, then shoots out three shots of high pressured wind at Ren.

Seeing the incoming attack Ren did not look the least bit worried as he, threw a kunai towards Sato through the space between the three bullets, but not stopping the incoming attacks.

As the kunai approached Sato he snorted.

"A desperate attempt." but as he was going to deflect it with his sword.

POOF!!

The kunai turned into smoke while, Ren appeared and soon a ball of rotating chakra appeared in his right hand as he slammed it into Sato's chest.

"Rasengan"

BOOM!!

As the wind bullets hit the Ren in the sky, he turned into smoke showing that was a shadow clone, but as that happened Sato was blasted into the wall of the stadium.

"This was expected."

"The match is over, the winner is Ren." the proctor announces after checking on Sato.

"This is the end of this year's chunin exams."

Onoki Pov

'The match has ended, time for me to give my speech, but this is the first year since I became the Tsuchikage that I don't feel inspired to give that speech, looking at the current generation what can they accomplish other than Ren...., Ren, Ren, Ren, that's right this generation still has Ren' thinks Onoki as he looked to the other side of the stadium where Ren stood on the roof with his hand folded in front of him, as their eyes meet Onoki knew what to say.

Onoki stood up from his seat and addressed the crowd.

"As this year's chunin exams have come to an end I have seen all that I need to select those who deserve to advance to the next level and handle the responsibilities that come with the rank of chunin, this year has yet again shown that that the village hidden in the stone has several highly talented ninjas who can all one day with enough effort become irreplaceable guardians of this village, who will carry the hidden stone to new heights, this generation will be a turning point for this village and I'm sure all of you will be needed to make this happen, but this will not happen without hardship, but are we afraid of this?"

"No!!!" All the ninjas present answered, even the civilians answered.

"And why is that!!!"

"Because we have the will of stone!!!!!!"

"Yes, and the will of stone gives us an unbreakable will, as we endure all the hardship that is to come, we will survive and come out the other side of anything becoming stronger from the experience, the will of stone in every person in this village makes our will unbreakable!!!"

"AHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," the crowd erupted in cheers as Onoki's speech resonated with them all.

Ren's POV

'It seems Onoki is different, but it's for the better, and I got your message loud and clear.' Ren thinks to himself as Onoki kept eye contact with him for his whole speech, showing even if the speech did not specially address him alone when Onoki said it, he could see what he meant through his eyes.

" So you've placed all your hope on me huh old man, all I can say is that you won't regret it, after all that speech of yours even managed to make me feel something."
