Chapter 128 ( Unexpected outcome)

Ren could be seen once again in a cave with corpses in front of him, corpses from both the Senju and Hyuga clan.

They were two of the last bloodlines Ren had left to absorb as he left them for last, Ren knew his actions now would give him a significant boost in strength but he was even more concerned with what would happen to his eyes after the introduction of the Hyuga bloodline.

Ren wasted no time as he quickly absorbed them, and as soon as he did the pain hit him throwing him to the ground as he gritted his teeth bearing the pain, the absorption of two bloodlines at once was expected to cause him great pain but he endured it.

His muscles bulged, and his skin cracked as his chakra flared as it increased, but strangely or rather not his cell activity and vitality weren't dropping but increasing rapidly, as Ren convulsed in pain his body was changing combining the newly absorbed bloodlines into what he already had.

Once again taking the advantages of each and discarding what wasn't needed, the process took far longer than before. Ren forcefully endured the pain for three days, as his body literally rebuilt itself from the ground up.

(On the third day)

There was no longer a cave, all that was left was a crater that seemed to have been caused by some kind of attack, but it wasn't.

It was caused by Ren's inability to control his chakra as it grew as it underwent the process, causing it to literally destroy the cave and anything nearby.

At the bottom of the crater, Ren was unconscious for the past few hours.

Until finally he moved and stood up looking around.

"What happened to the cave?" Ren asked aloud as he looked around checking out his surrounding.

"Did it fail?" Ren asked again as he felt the weakness that filled his whole body, far different that the results before.

"My chakra for the first time in a while is near empty, my limbs feel like mountains, my head is killing me, and the only thing that remotely feels like it improved would be the enormous amount of vitality I am giving off.

Ren looked at his status and it seemed that he had changed more than he could currently feel.

"Sharingan and Byakugan, I guess that they didn't fuse, more likely I can switch between the two." Ren said.

' I would have much rather they fused together and created something new so I could use it openly but it seems my wish hasn't come true.'

'I need some rest even with this newly found vitality my body needs some rest after going through that.' thinks Ren as he stumbles his way out of the crater, only to realize he doesn't have enough chakra currently to return to the hidden stone.

(Hidden cloud)

"The war is approaching, we need to keep an eye on that old bastard Ohnoki he is sure to take advantage of this war in some way."

"Then there is also the leaf, even with all the set back recently are a force to be reckoned with, but it doesn't matter the cloud must win this war, and to do that we will make sure the other villages cannot from any kind of alliance against us, and also any promising ninjas that leave their village and venture out of the land of their respective village must be killed."

"Yes, Raikage-sama."

"Good, there must be no room for failure on these missions."

In all the other villages similar scenes were happening all Kages were making plans to win the war before it even fully started from killing promising ninjas from enemy villages to missions to steal military strategies and food stores anything that could give them an edge in the upcoming war.

With all happening the second shinobi war is sure to be cruel and bloody, and which village will emerge victorious is any ones guess.

But one thing is for sure, Ren's name will be loud in the ninja world in and after this war.
