Ruby decided to try playing as Lady first. She loaded the simulation again. She is now in Lady's body with Kalina Ann strapped to her back and the Dual Pistols on her sides.
Ruby takes a deep breath, feeling the weight of the weapons on her frame. She flexes her fingers, testing the grip on the pistols. She takes a few practice shots with the pistols, impressed by their rapid-fire accuracy.
Suddenly, a group of demons materializes in front of her. Ruby's heart races as she quickly assesses the situation. Without hesitation, she unslings the Kalina Ann and takes aim. The rocket launcher's powerful blast decimates the first wave of enemies, and Ruby follows up with precision shots from her pistols, taking down the stragglers.
She grips the Kalina Ann tightly, its weight reassuring in her hands. More demons materialize, their claws and fangs bared. Without hesitation, She unleashes a barrage of rockets, the explosive blasts ripping through their ranks.
As the demons close in, Ruby swings the Kalina Ann, its bayonet slicing through their flesh. She dances between the creatures, her movements fluid and graceful, punctuated by the thunderous roar of her weapon.
Suddenly, Ruby finds herself surrounded. Thinking quickly, she aims the Kalina Ann at the ground and pulls the trigger. The force of the rocket launch propels her into the air, and she opens fire with her dual pistols, raining down a hail of bullets on the demons below.
Ruby lands with a roll, her gaze immediately locking onto a new threat – the ominous figure of the Hell Vanguard. The reaper-like demon materializes, its scythe gleaming in the dim light. Ruby has faced this foe before, and she knows its deadly dance of teleportation and sweeping attacks.
The Hell Vanguard vanishes, only to reappear behind Ruby. She pivots, bringing the Kalina Ann to block, but the demon is too fast. It swings its scythe in a wide arc, forcing Ruby to dodge and weave. She fires a grappling hook from the Kalina Ann, launching herself into the air to gain a better vantage point.
From above, Ruby rains down a hail of bullets and rockets, but the Hell Vanguard's spectral form makes it difficult to land a solid hit. The demon disappears and reappears, its movements erratic and unpredictable.
Ruby lands, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of the Hell Vanguard. Suddenly, it materializes behind her, its scythe poised to strike. Ruby whirls, bringing the Kalina Ann up in a desperate block. The impact of the scythe sends tremors through her arms, but she refuses to falter.
Ruby unleashes a rapid barrage of pistol fire at the Hell Vanguard, the bullets ricocheting off its spectral form. Though the demon blocks the majority of the shots, Ruby's sharp aim allows one grenade to slip through its defenses. The explosive blast sends the Hell Vanguard crashing into a nearby wall, stunned.
Seizing the opportunity, Ruby aims the Kalina Ann directly at the demon's face. "Night, night," she says with a smirk before pulling the trigger.
The rocket blast engulfs the Hell Vanguard, tearing it apart in a spectacular display of force. Ruby watches with a satisfied grin as the demon's remains disintegrate, leaving behind only a wisp of dark energy.
Ruby is ecstatic, her heart racing with adrenaline. The way she fights as Lady is very different from Dante, and she prefers Lady's style a bit more. The Kalina Ann's weight is comforting in her hands, and the rapid-fire of the dual pistols feels like an extension of her own body.
She glances down at the chat, reading their excited reactions. "Wow, that was epic!" "Lady is so badass!" Ruby grins, feeling a swell of pride. With renewed vigor, she sets off to find more demons to challenge.

Sam studies the charts, his eyes scanning the numbers that show his Devil May Cry simulation firmly in first place. A small smile tugs at the corner of his lips, but he resists the urge to gloat. Just as he's about to turn his attention elsewhere, his phone buzzes.
"Gail," he says, answering the call. "I take it you've seen the numbers."
"I have," Gail replies, her voice warm with pride. "Congratulations, Sam. Your game is really resonating with the Hunters."
Sam chuckles modestly. "It's early days yet. The position might change sooner or later."
"I doubt it," Gail says confidently. "The feedback has been outstanding. Hunters are raving about the combat system and the boss battles." She pauses, then adds, "You should be proud of yourself. This is a major achievement."
Sam feels a surge of satisfaction, but he keeps his tone measured. "I appreciate the kind words, Gail. But the real test will be how the game fares at the Expo. There are a lot of talented developers here."
"I have no doubt you'll do well," Gail assures him. "Just keep doing what you're doing. The Hunters love it."
"I'll do my best," Sam promises. As he ends the call, his gaze drifts back to the simulation charts, the numbers reflecting the hard work and dedication he's poured into this project.
Sam watched the streamers, pleased to see many of them had already completed Devil May Cry. His gaze settled on Scarlet as she faced off against the twin demon swords, Agni and Rudra, playing as Lady.
The fiery Agni and the wind-wielding Rudra surround Scarlet, their attacks in perfect sync. But Scarlet remains undaunted, her movements fluid and precise as she deftly dodges the onslaught.
With her dual pistols, Scarlet unleashes a barrage of shots, forcing the demons to split their focus. Seizing the opportunity, she grabs the Kalina Ann and takes aim. The massive rocket explodes, engulfing Agni and Rudra in a fiery blast. Sam leans forward, impressed by Scarlet's skill and the power of her signature weapon.
Sam could see the pleased look in Scarlet's face as she defeated the twin demon swords, Agni and Rudra. He was happy to see Devil May Cry resonating with the Hunters, and he just hoped this momentum could last until the end of the Expo.
