Chapter 47

Gu Weicheng looked at his 'younger brother' in a complicated mood. Though he didn't have any feelings for this brother. But, he didn't know why, deep inside he felt extremely proud. 

The person that stood in front of him meant nothing to him. But when his mind confirms this, his heart always rejects his thoughts. Telling him that he is wrong. That young omega is his treasure, something he always protected and wasn't able to protect till the end. 

Gu Weicheng always tried to hide these thoughts, thinking this is the influence of the original owner. But his always accurate intuition told him that it wasn't. It was his own feeling.

Instead of making him alert, he felt amused by this thought. In the end he wasn't wrong. 

Even when he lived there until his death. His heart never moved. He was never swayed by emotions. But from the movement he reborn, he felt like he got something back which he lost and missed. 

And the person who made his heart move wasn't anyone else. But the typical cannon fodder, the villainous younger brother of the original owner. He hated people like Xiaochen, who swayed easily by emotions. And give so much importance to feelings and emotions. By The movement he met this younger brother, for the first time he felt like he was alive. It wasn't like the original owner's feeling but was his own. 

Gu Weicheng looked at Xiaochen through the screen. That younger brother, who looked like the soft version of himself, gave him happiness and fear. 

Xiaochen, who didn't know his dear elder brother was looking at him, walked towards Director Shen and sat on his seat.

"Good job…" Director Shen said.

"Thank you, uncle Shen." Xiaochen smiled.

Director Shen was also surprised. Though he knew his Boss' children were extraordinary, he never thought he would get surprise after surprise when he got back from these two children. Not only Weicheng but this child is also a prodigy in his own way. If it wasn't for that accident. He was sure, these children must have reached a height whom everyone will look up to.

Director Shen looked down.

'What i did was wrong. I shouldn't have left them for my pride.' He felt extremely guilty. When he left. He never thought of its consequences. He didn't want to fight with those scheme people and waste his breath for something which is crumbling. He didn't want to become a weapon which would be used by others. So he resigned. That time he thought his decision was right. But now when he looks at these children, who are trying hard to maintain what their parents made, he feels ashamed. 

He was wrong. He should have helped Xiaochen. Even if he failed to protect it completely, Gu group wouldn't have reached this low. 

Director Shen sighed. 

'Well, I can't change my past mistake.But from now on, I won't repeat the same mistake. I will be there for them until my death.' He vowed in his heart. 

At the same time,

Lee Fengge sat on his seat with an emotionless face. Though his face was calm. His clenched fist showed his true emotion.

He was nervous. He always felt something was wrong. Someone was looking at him. But whenever he looked around he saw no one. Though he felt no maliciousness from this gaze. Somehow it made him nervous. He took a deep breath. And tried to ignore that feeling.

This project was important to him.Though, he long realised that getting this project won't be much helpful for him, but it can give him more time and a chance to visit country A. He needed time to find them. His maternal family who live in country A. Though his mother always hid her real identity from him. But his mother once said to him that he had a grandpa and an uncle who loved his mother dearly. But she disappointed them and ran away from home. 

Even when she lived a hellish life. She didn't want to return to them. She was ashamed to face her. And they will kill his father. Even though her love for that man disappeared. She never wanted to harm her son's father. 

She never told anything important about her family in front of her son. And Fengge also never tried to find them. But two days ago, a woman came to him. Saying she was his mother's friend. She was abroad all these years and she only got this opportunity to visit him. She gave him an envelope saying it was his mother left for him. She wanted to give it to him many times. But his mother's friend knew. It wasn't the appropriate time. Then something happened and she returned to her hometown. And came back to country M because of some business. 

She took this opportunity to give his mother's relic to him. She apologised and cried in front of him. He was struck for a while. He finally gained his senses after returning to his office.  He read his mother's letter. She didn't write much. Only said. 

'Go to the country A. Find Them. They will protect you.' 

There was a necklace in the envelope. It had a Golden emblem with the letter W in it. 

Fengge once again glanced at the letter. At the end of the letter was his mother's signature. The name in it was unfamiliar to him. But he knew, it was his mother's real name. 

'Martha…Martha Williams' 

Lee Fengge clinched the necklace. He vowed that, Whatever happens, He needs to get this project. Only by getting it can he get more time to find his grandfather.

Lee Fengge who was immersed in his thoughts. Come back to his senses when he heard the clap. He realised the last Presentation was over.

Ray took the microphone and said. 

"Now, when the presentation is over. The participants who got first 5 places will have a chance to bid for this project. The person who bid the biggest price will have an opportunity to work on this project." 

When his voice ended the surrounding was silent. 

Everyone in the hall had their own thoughts. When He Donghai's face was grim, Wu Heliang's face had a smug smile. Xiaochen had a professional smile on his face and Lee Fengge took a deep breath. 

'I will get it.' He was determined.
