Hey, Shun here!

While developing and honing your skills under a very controlled environment is good and could be beneficial, there's also some cons that would come for doing it. There's the fact that you would have little to no experience when it comes to dealing with things that is outside of what you would encounter on a normal training that you usually do.

(Shun's POV)

The atmosphere was tense, and everyone is now fully geared up for the upcoming 'war'. All of us were wearing a full body military-like uniform with a gray camo design and a hoodie.

"[Admin-sensei]~? How does Tama looook~?" Tama asked while having her hoodie on.

To be completely honest, she looks extremely cute in that get up. Although, I think that's also true for when she's wearing other apparels of clothing.

"Yeah, you're looking extra cute today, Tama." I replied after squatting down and patting her head.

Whilst we were talking to each other, someone else who could, at this point, be considered as Tama's twin sister, came in while showing off her new get up like what Tama did.

"This makes Pochi feel like a military nodesu! So cool nanodesu! Is Pochi cool nodesu?"

"Of course you look cool. Very cute…"

It seems like she was not happy at my latter comment as Pochi pouted at me.

"Mugu! Not cute nodesu! Pochi want to look cool nanodesu!"

"Oh my, well, is that so? Then, ignore my last comment then." I said jokingly while patting her in the head as well.

Although she was still pouting, Pochi didn't refuse my head pat.

Who taught her to act with such sass? Oh, right. I forgot that she is interacting with Touka-san and Rinka-san…

Looking at the girl with a wavy orange-brown hair, a pair of piercing green colored eyes, and sharp facial features, I could pretty much guess from who did Pochi copy the sass from.

Pochi's sassy attitude soon broke down when I mentioned cooking her favorite hamburg steak tonight for her. I heard that Tama also likes to imitate Rinka-san when interacting with the more perverted bunch in our class but it seems like she doesn't do that to me.

'Well, Pochi only really acts like this when faced with our teasing or something similar sometimes. That's if he remembers to do so.' I thought.

Most of the time, she just forgets to act with sass and end up what she usually does, getting all flustered. It seems like the girls taught them to act like this so as to avoid those guys from getting too close to their cute juniors. Pochi and Tama can be a bit too trusting at times, after all.

Those girls really are doing what they can in order to keep them out of a pervert's grubby hands. Not like they could do so anyway under my watch.

(Third Person's POV)

The match just began, and all of the students are now taking their positions inside this vast mountain. Of course, everyone was being extra careful about the people that they fear the most inside each group.

Although Nagisa and Karma are strong and are the leaders of each team, there's six people, scattered unevenly between the two teams that could disrupt the balance of the entire game and probably end it in an instant. Thus, the two teams have come up with a countermeasure against them.

On top of a newly made platform that Koro-sensei made, Koro-sensei and Irina are watching the ongoing battle through the video feed that Mutsuko's drones are providing them. Of course, this was not the drones that Mutsuko would be using on the match as it would be too much of an advantage for her team if she taps on the information that these drones are currently providing.

"So, do you think that they will interfere in the match between their classmates?" Irina asked Koro-sensei in a vague manner. She knew that Koro-sensei already knew who she is talking about so there's no need to further elaborate.

"It seems like Shirakami-kun wanted to test his friend's current strength. As of right now, I don't think they will be interfering in the fight too much. They all know that they are far above their classmate league, after all. Nyu-huhuhu…"

Looking at the ever present smile on Koro-sensei's face, Irina redirected her gaze at the ongoing battle.

"You gave him an option to not join but he still did to test his friends? Isn't that a little too roundabout? Can't they train by themselves?"

"There's a difference between a match with something big on the line and a practice match, Irina-sensei. Although these students are strangely used to fighting and killing, I think they're still lacking on many aspects, that's why I asked you and Karasuma-sensei to invite them to study here…"

Irina remained silent for a moment before saying,

"All of them except for that one student, right? I heard about their so-called mission. Are you really their target or is there another [Shinigami] besides you right now?"

Koro-sensei, upon hearing this question, chose to play dumb.

"Saa… You'll know eventually, Irina-sensei. For now, I think my plan on splitting them up and creating an environment for them to test out each other's strength has worked. Nyu-huhuhu!"

"As I expected. You planned all of this…"

"Not all of it, Irina-sensei. I was just flexible. I have been teaching them for a while but, outside of the subjects, I barely taught them that much about assassinations. You could say that this is one of my final lessons for them…"

Silence enveloped the place they were standing at. The next moment, a gunshot resounded and the camera is now showing Mutsuko and Chiba Ryunosuke firing their sniper rifles, one targeted at Kataoka Megu and the other one targeted at Shun.

An announcement about Kataoka going out resounded whilst there was no announcement about Shun going out. To those who had a clear view of what was happening, they all knew what happened.

"His reflexes is really monstrous. Guns won't work against him." Irina commented.

"Nyu-huhuhu. Of course it won't. But, that wasn't the sole purpose of the snipe…"

As they were saying that, the two once again fired their shots, this time it was all aimed at Shun, but it was still easily dodged and deflected by Shun. Some of the BBs that Chiba fired even went towards him at a very fast speed, leading him to lean back instinctively.

It was then that a rain of bullets shot towards him, as well as the nearby Okajima, taking them both out of the game. The assailant didn't stop there as he or she still tried to target Mutsuko but, she managed to dodge the bullets and then return fire at the still reloading assailant, taking him or her out.

"You should've aimed for me first, Yukiko-chan." Mutsuko said.

"Hehe, that was my bad. I got a little too greedy to get two kills first." Yukiko said while sticking out her tongue.

However, Mutsuko knew full well that that wasn't the entire reason as to why she did that. As she thought about it more deeply though, realization finally dawned on her.

Before she could think about it more though, a BB bullet came from out of nowhere, targeting Mutsuko. However, she easily dodged it by jumping for cover behind a nearby tree at a lower ground. She wanted to get out but, everytime she wanted to peak out, a BB would come flying, trying to target her head.

At the same time, Shun is currently preoccupied, battling against two ferocious opponents. One was appearing and disappearing at will, aiming at his vital spots, at blistering speeds, while the other is like a gale force that's trying to crush him with raw strength.

This was Pochi and Tama who arrived immediately after Mutsuko fired her first shot. They had a companion who came with them, Ritsu, but she was unfortunately intercepted by a valiant-looking blonde haired girl, Rokuko.

The two's battle was quite a weird sight to witness as Ritsu was doing some highly calculated precise stabs and slashes while the former was showing some finesse and technical prowess. Currently, they were just going back and forth, evenly matched across the board.

The atmosphere around the both of them was very calm but, you could Immediately feel the underlying tension between the two's match. One small mistake and either of the two could most definitely capitalize on that.

These two are more than ready to punish the opposition if ever they show even the slightest err in their actions.

Meanwhile, back on the sniping that was happening between Rinka and Mutsuko, Mutsuko has been unable to help her teammates by providing suppressive fires. Instead, she's at the receiving end of it.

Left with no other choice, she took out the mirror invention of hers that would help her be invisible from the naked eye. Right under the nose of Rinka, Mutsuko repositioned herself under the shade of another tree and got ready to shoot.

This time, she aims to help Ritsu.

The showdown between the two teams, the Red and the Blue team, has been ongoing for a few minutes now and a lot of the members of both classes has been taken out of the match. However, these students weren't bored out of their minds as they were enjoying the intense match between the group that majority of them thankfully never encountered.

"Shirakami is so good. He's been fighting against Kuro-chan and Shirayuki-chan for a few minutes now but he didn't even receive a single wound from it." Kataoka Megu commented.

"What's Shirayuki-chan doing, though? She kept on disappearing and reappearing like a ghost. It's giving me the chills…" Okajima said.

"Saa… Who knows, really."

None of them have ever seen Tama use her skills, this being their first time witnessing it in action.

"Ah, look! Kuro-chan's aura changed!"

At someone's shout, everyone focused their gaze at the ongoing battle that might just decide who will win this match. Unleashing the power within her, the change in the color of Pochi's irises went unnoticed as she grabbed her sword and got ready to slice.

It was then that a shift in balance between the opposing sides showed up.

From inside the thickets, a wild Touka appeared, with knives on hand. Her appearance not only broke the balance between the two teams but also showed an opportunity.

The moment she showed up, the two snipers aimed their muzzles at the two groups who are fighting. Meanwhile, Touka herself targeted Ritsu.

The match is now at its climax.

※ I didn't show the match between the other students since most of you probably already know the result of that. Also, with Kanzaki taking out two of the normal members, the match became anyone's game since the red team used a lot of resources to keep Shun contained.
