"Oh, it's Orion! What a coincidence to see you here in the cafeteria," Alexis greeted Orion Lux.
Orion Lux gritted his teeth and said, "This is no coincidence. I came here specifically to find you."
"Specifically looking for me? What for?" Alexis blinked innocently with his pure eyes.
"What for?!" Alexis exclaimed, surprised by Orion's hostility.
Seeing Alexis acting as if nothing had happened, Orion Lux became even more infuriated. His nose twisted with anger as he exclaimed, "Don't act innocent with me! Don't think I'll forget what happened in the classroom earlier!"
He glared at Alexis, filled with an intense desire to devour him alive. It was all because of this shameless bastard that he had been given a derogatory nickname, causing him to receive strange looks from other classmates when he returned to the classroom.
He felt incredibly uncomfortable, as if he had become a rare specimen. Hearing the whispers and murmurs of his surrounding classmates, he couldn't help but feel like they were mocking him.
As a result, Orion's hatred towards Alexis grew even stronger. He couldn't shake off the deep resentment in his heart until he gave this bastard a thorough beating.
"The incident in the classroom today?" Alexis seemed to recall it. "I see, so you've come to apologize and make amends. Actually, there's no need to be so polite. I didn't take that matter to heart."
He waved his hand, displaying a generous demeanor.
"Who said I came here to apologize to you? Don't delude yourself!" Orion Lux fumed, his nostrils practically smoking. He had been ridiculed and given a derogatory nickname by Alexis, which caused him immense humiliation and subjected him to the mockery of his classmates.
Even before he had the chance to demand an apology from this guy, he already assumed that Orion Lux wanted to apologize to him. This bastard had an inflated sense of self-importance and needed to have some boundaries.
"If it's not to apologize, then why did you come here? Are you planning to invite me for a meal?" Alexis said with a playful innocence, blinking his eyes.
"Bullshit! Who would want to treat a shameless scum like you to a meal? Even if I were to feed the food to a dog, I wouldn't invite you, you bastard!" Orion's anger intensified, leaving him at a loss for words. He couldn't fathom how to communicate with this asshole.
"Shut up!"
At that moment, a towering young man with a height of two meters and a robust, bear-like physique appeared. He exuded a powerful presence, giving off an intimidating aura that seemed to fill the space around him.
He locked his gaze on Alexis and sneered, "Do you think you can deflect your mistakes by shifting the blame onto others? Your academic performance may be lacking, but it seems you've become quite skilled in the art of talking."
"Didn't your parents teach you any manners? Giving derogatory nicknames to others and humiliating classmates in the classroom, is that your upbringing?!"
His words dripped with venom.
"After eighteen years of life, my parents taught me one valuable lesson: to fight fire with fire!" Alexis narrowed his eyes, his gaze fixed on the towering figure of the two-meter-tall man.
The muscular man tightened his fist, producing cracking sounds, and bared his menacing white teeth. "Interesting, you dare to fight fire with fire. You've got some guts, but I wonder if you have what it takes."
"In the realm of warriors, conflicts are resolved through battles. Might makes right! How about you and I settle this at the Fighting Arena? If you can defeat me, this matter will be considered settled, and we won't trouble you anymore. What do you say?"
"A fight?!" Alexis exclaimed, taken aback by the proposal.
Alexis's eyes flickered with realization. In this world, martial arts held great prestige, and every student possessed knowledge of combat. The young students were brimming with energy and often engaged in fights over the slightest provocation, leading to frequent and intense conflicts within the school.
To address this problem, the school had set up the Fighting Arena, providing students with a designated space to openly and officially resolve their conflicts through fights.
This allowed them to release their pent-up frustrations and tensions. Additionally, some students also utilized the Fighting Arena as a space for friendly sparring and mutual growth in their martial arts skills.
Given the circumstances, private physical altercations were strictly prohibited by the school. Any student caught engaging in such fights, regardless of their status, would face immediate expulsion and be removed from the school. The school administration had taken a strong stance to maintain a safe and peaceful learning environment for all students.
As a result, the muscular man hesitated to openly confront Alexis and instead extended an invitation for them to meet at the Fighting Arena.
It was a way for them to settle their differences and engage in a formal competition, abiding by the rules and regulations set by the school.
The approaching group of people surrounding Alexis quickly caught the attention of the surrounding students. Heads turned, and curious gazes were directed towards the scene, eager to witness the unfolding situation.
"Look, someone is heading to the Fighting Arena for a fight. This should be interesting."
"Wait, isn't that Drake Malvern , the towering two-meter-tall guy? He's picking a fight with someone. That person is in for some trouble."
"Drake Malvern ?! The one from Class 36, known as the Black Bear, with incredible natural strength. His punches carry the force of over a thousand kilograms. He's a formidable warrior at the Fifth level of Martial Disciple Realm?!"
"Yes, that's him. When he gets into a fight, no one can match him. I heard that several students who fought with him on the Fighting Arena ended up with multiple broken ribs and couldn't recover for weeks."
"I also heard about that. One student even had to drop out because of the trauma. It's really scary. If that kid has caught the attention of Drake Malvern , he's in for a rough time."
Engrossed in discussions, many students observed Alexis with a sense of schadenfreude. They appeared to take pleasure in his predicament, eagerly anticipating the outcome of the impending confrontation.
"What's the matter? Are you afraid now?" the towering muscular man taunted Alexis, his eyes burning with an intense challenge.
Drake Malvern tightened his fist and fixed his gaze on Alexis, a twisted smile playing on his lips. "If you kneel down and beg for mercy right now, passing through my legs, I might consider sparing you. But don't get any ideas, it's a one-time offer. However, if you dare to resist, I'll make sure to beat you every time we cross paths, leaving you unable to take care of yourself for three months."
Alexis burst into laughter. "Scared? Am I supposed to be scared of a dumb giant like you?!"
"Dumb giant?!"
A/N*: Here it's Drake Malvern 's reaction. Don't get confused. Drink water!
The surrounding students were left speechless, astonished by Alexis's audacity. Even Orion Lux was taken aback, realizing the gravity of the situation. Drake Malvern , a Fifth level of Martial Disciple Realm with innate divine strength, was known for his formidable martial prowess.
But this audacious individual actually had the nerve to label Drake Malvern as "dumb giant." Was he completely out of his mind?!
"Alexis!"
Drake Malvern 's anger soared, his nostrils emitting smoke and his eyes blazing red. Never before had anyone dared to talk back in front of him let alone disrespect him like this and on top of that telling him as a "dumb giant." Any individual who had done so in the past would have found themselves hospitalized for immediate medical attention.
But this youngster had the audacity to utter such words, clearly oblivious to the consequences of his actions and words.
"Well, I agree to go to the Fighting Arena, but what about victim Yang Wei? Will he agree to it?" Alexis asked, shifting his attention to Yang Wei.
Alexis calmly replied.
Orion Lux responded promptly, saying, "I am in complete agreement. If you also concur with Big Brother Drake, this issue will be resolved, and we will refrain from causing any further inconvenience to you."
In such a circumstance, there is nothing more one could desire. That audacious individual deserves to face consequences and be taught a lesson, perhaps by being brought up to the Fighting Arena. In any event, the more he endures hardships, the more favorable it would be. Witnessing him in such a wretched condition would bring a sense of gratification.
Even though he may not be directly involved, this can still be regarded as seeking revenge on his behalf.
"Very well, I agree. When will this take place?" Alexis inquired. He appeared rather indifferent towards the matter, as if he believed that obtaining benefits within the Super Hatred System necessitated the accumulation of hatred points.
And these hatred points could only be acquired from adversaries. The greater the number of enemies he had, the more favorable the chance to amass a considerable amount of hatred points. In this manner, he could accumulate a substantial quantity of hatred points.
"Very well."
Drake Malvern fixed his gaze on Alexis and declared, "Let's schedule it for 4:30 PM, immediately after school concludes. I trust that you won't attempt to escape by then, as it would greatly anger me, leading to severe consequences."
Having issued the warning, Drake Malvern cast a final glance at Alexis before departing the cafeteria alongside Orion Lux and the rest of the group.
