What is going on with Tess?
In the dimly lit space, the main source of light shone faintly behind massive crisscrossing black beams, creating a bewildering sight. Each beam resembled a gigantic pole, thick and wide enough to serve as a bridge for trucks. Resting on one of these beams was Sid's purple force shield.
Fresh in Sid's mind was the message from the Dark Lord, but despite being deserted by his fellow members and facing a challenging situation, it didn't consume his thoughts. Even the vessel's recent attack on him didn't evoke any ill feelings. Sid knew that if he had even a trace of humanity left, he would be smiling at that very moment. The vessel was simply ignorant of his true intentions, and if she knew the extent of what he had done for her, she would realize he wasn't her enemy.
