District 299 - Pearl harbor, Sector 12.
Near the coast, the abandoned construction site for a skyscraper was already evacuated by all the workers. The metal framework stood at twelve stories high and was surrounded by immobile construction machines.
Everything was wet from the rain that just ended. It got dimmer as global curfew drew near. The only light came from the streaks of sunset below the dark clouds on one side of the sky.
Unlike the construction site, the stack of large metal rectangular shipping containers to its left was not as deserted. The containers had building materials transported by ship and were stacked on top of the other to the height of two stories. Its maze-like structure was perfect for hiding illegal activity.
