Chap 206: Five against thousands
The five guardians had waited over forty-five minutes. They were unable to venture past the disc-shaped land towards the light in its center. Not only was there no gravity beyond, but Zack proved there was no oxygen as well. Worse, Zino stood in one spot for nearly an hour unable to teleport. Her time was as wasted as her fellow teammates who sat on the ground like traffic cones.
However, losing their sanity from boredom was not the only thing at stake. Hunting the fragments in their billions was a future hurdle though none of them were up for it. But stopping the Elites from wiping out all life on the planet was not up for debate. Unfortunately, the Elites had long vanished beyond the light. The stagnation killed any progress towards their goal, but that was about to end.
