Braavos has Fallen

A/N: Sorry for the late chapter I have been busy with school work but here is a short chapter to show that I haven't abandoned this fanfic

With the first Sword's death the Braavos fleet attempted to reorganize themselves to fight back against the enemy invasion. But what could they do against weapons that are way too powerful for them to compete against.

The Free Folk ships pushed through the Braavos Navy and had made their way to the various islands that made up Braavos.

Their objective was to push through to where the Iron Bank was and steal all of the money from them while occupying the Bank.

Not only would this be a vital point to take but it was also the first step towards Thornir expansion into Essos.

Braavos was known as the wealthiest and the most powerful of all the free cities, so taking it would not only prove that the Free Folk Kingdom was stronger but also capable of attacking cities across the sea.

As the Free Folk warriors scrambled throughout the city a few of them were stationed near the docks to prevent anybody from leaving the city.

The Ships stayed near the docks to support the free Folk warriors by preventing any enemy ships from entering the city.

Viserys and Stygard who was on the Biggest ship of the fleet had docked at one of the docks in Braavos. They both walked down the ramp with an escort of about 10 Warriors around them.

Stygard inhaled a deep breathe of the air "Nothing like the smell of war huh Viserys" Said Stygard as he looked around at all the bodies that were on the ground.

"It is my first war so I don't exactly know what type of unique smell war has yet" Answered Viserys as he also looked around at all of the bodies.

While it was his first time seeing the effects of what war was like he still didn't feel anything. Perhaps it was his Targaryen bloodline that made him feel calm even during war.

"Well soon enough after a few years I will ask you again and I want to hear your response then" Said Stygard.

"But enough of that let's get going to the Iron Bank" Said Stygard as he and Viserys started to walk to where the Iron Bank was at.

Along they way they had seen the bodies of many dead warriors, most being from the Braavos side but there was still a few Free Folk warriors here and there.

As they got closer to where the Iron Bank was they had seen the surrounding buildings which most were destroyed from the Bombardment.

A lot of debris from the buildings had covered the path to walk, but all they had to was walk over it and they were fine.

Once they finally made it to the Iron Bank the Free Folk warriors had already secured what was left of the building and the surrounding area.

One of the warriors approached Viserys since he was the Commander of the army "Commander we have secured the Iron Bank and the Area around it and we have captured a few people who managed to survive from the Iron Bank" Reported the soldier.

"Good bring those captured to me and start setting up defenses around the area" Said Viserys as he wanted this island to be protected.

The position of the Iron Bank was located on the main island of Braavos while bridges connected the other island's to each other.

Next he would head to the Sea Lord's Palace where he would make it his castle as of now until he is done. But now that he think about it when will he be done?

As they were walking to the Sea Lord's Palace Viserys asked Stygard this question "When will we be done with this war, because if we are to occupy the Iron Bank then we might as well take the city as well" Said Viserys

Stygard didn't turn his head but kept walking "Don't worry about that we have another plan that will benefit us in the long run" Said Stygard since he wasn't going to reveal too much information.

"For now let's focus on taking the Palace and worry about those things later" 

Viserys dropped the topic since he trusted Stygard and knew that he had some sort of plan that would help them in the long run.

But still he wanted to know what their next move was going to be since he didn't really get to fight in the battle as the Warriors had pretty much done that themselves.
