The Retired Dragon Lord.

Edric saw the shadow getting closer and decided to lure it to them.

He once again ripped some stone from the ground and made it into a ball, except that this time he gave it a sharp edge.

He decided to weaken the shadow so that it could fight with Anas properly, by giving it a huge wound.

He trew the stone bullet with enough strength to harm the shadow.

And then an explosion ocurred where the shadow was.

Inside a majestic mountain, there was a cave.

It was a cave so huge that a whole city could fit inside of it, and it was filled with lush foliage.

There was a small squirrel like mammal that was feeding on seeds that fell to the ground.

It sniffed around and examined its surroundings cautious towards any potential predators.

It finished looking and started chomping down on the seeds.

It was eating when the ground started shaking.

The animal looked around, confused.

Then the ground split open and revealed a red, reptile eye. The eye was as tall as a human and it glowed in a mystifying way.

The ground continued to shake and revealed the body of a black reptile of inmense proportions.

The reptile had huge wings and its head was small compared to its body and it had a tail that divided in three different ends.

It had a majestic figure, and it moved with pride.

The dragon looked around calmly, examined Its surroundings and started flying.

It looked around its surroundings and observed how the world had changed after its slumber.

It then noticed a mountain tens of kilometers away that had been flattened.

The dragon started flying towards the mountain to examine it, but after a few seconds something happened.

The dragon wasn't able to react before it got hit, and the result was devastating.

The dragon got pierced in the eye and the attack continued untill it scratched its heart.

The dragon felt an extreme sense of anger and quickly flew towards the mountain passing through hills and valleys.

When it reached the flattened mountain, it saw two "Humans", a adult and a child.

It saw the adult talking to the child and it roared.

[ROOAAR]

It talked in the dragon Language.

[I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN A KILOMETER, AND NOTHING WILL STOP ME FOR SOMETHING HAS DAMAGED ME]

The dragon then was about to speak again when something it didn't expect happened.

[YOU HAVE QUITE THE FANCY LANGUAGE, LIZARD. DO YOU MIND FIGHTING THIS CHILD FOR A LITTLE WHILE?]

The human talked while still looking at the child.

[HOW CAN A HUMAN TALK OUR LANGUAGE...? IT SHOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE]

[WELL, I'M NO HUMAN... AND THIS CHILD ISN'T EITHER]

The human then stopped looking at the child and looked at the dragon at the eyes.

[WELL, WILL YOU FIGHT WITH HIM OR NOT?]

Said the humanoid.

[I DON'T TAKE ORDERS FROM ANYONE, I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU]

Answered the dragon.

[Sigh... maybe I shouldn't have hurt him...? well, it doesn't matter]

The dragon didn't understand what the adult said, but then something impossible happened.

[KNEEL]

Said the human, and then the dragon fell to the ground.

Edric had decided to test if he could control the dragon using essence, and he was able to do it, although it used a lot of essence.

He then looked once more towards Anas and spoke.

[This is your last lesson for now, you will fight this lizard with everything I have taught you, and then we will continue to travel]

Anas nodded with a serious expression on his face.

The dragon continued to roar but Edric ignored it.

[STOP OPENING YOUR MOUTH, LIZARD]

Said Edric while using essence.

Anas then started walking towards the dragon that looked like a mountain next to him, and got ready to fight.

Edric allowed the dragon to move once more and observed as Anas leaped towards the dragon.

the fight had started.
