A bad day (part one)

Once he reached his house he entered through the front door while he was feeling nervous about telling his mother that he didn't want to study in school anymore.

He saw the familiar sight inside house, that familiar living room, the nostalgic scent and the sense of comfort.

He went towards his room and left his backpack on top of his bed and then he changed his clothes to a comfortable set of... pajamas.

He checked the clock in his room and saw that it was 3 o'clock.

(She should be back from work in twenty minutes...)

He wondered what to do in the remaining time as he walked towards the bathroom.

He washed his face until it was clean and he applied a transparent face cream to keep it clean and he looked at the mirror in front of him.

He had blond hair and dark eyes, and his height was around 160 centimeter.

(Damm... I think I'm narcissistic, Because there's no way I'm this handsome) He thought as he saw his reflection in the mirror.

After that he went back to his room and then he grabbed something from under his bed, a laptop, he turned on his laptop and used a password to unlock it, he opened an archive inside of it and complex equations appeared in the screen .

He tapped on the keyboard a few times and then the equations gave out a result after five minutes of waiting.

(!!! It actually worked!) He thought, shocked, after seeing the results.

It was something increíble.

So, in short:

-he created this laptop by himself.

-The laptop is extremely powerful(one of the best in the planet).

-He simulated a human (very simplistic).

-He simulated a virus(actually plausible).

-He infected the mini human with the virus.

-virus+human= better human...

He started working in this two years ago (when he was thirteen) after seeing a movie about superheroes and wondering how far humans could go in terms of evolution.

He wouldn't use it though, I mean, That's how things like zombies are made!(though he doesn't think such a thing is possible)and he would make sure that nobody would know about it.

He didn't even have the equipment to create the simulated virus (He had to steal some things to create his laptop) and he remembered an incident in which a virus scaped from a laboratory ten years ago, It went... not very well.

He decided to destroy his HDD tomorrow after playing around his simulation a little more.

He checked the clock once more and saw that his mother would come in about 5 minutes, time in which he closed his simulation safely, turned off his laptop and hid it under his bed once more.

He looked at the door and, sure enough, he saw his mother approaching the house through the window on it.

He smiled like a devil as he opened the door and shouted.

[HELLO THERE MOTHER!!!]

His mother jumped in surprise as he jumpscared her.

[Geez! don't scare me like that, you meanie!] she said with a fake frown.

He smiled after seeing her like that, she fell for it every day.

They both entered their house after having their everyday chit chat.

They both spent the day together and talked about every day things, the fifteen year old really tried to be a good person towards his mother after his father died.

He realized that he only really had his family to be with him after his "friends" completely ignored his situation and acted like assholes. He would have to spend the rest of his life with people he could trust.

After they had dinner the young man finally decided to tell his mother what he had been wanting for all the day.

He opened his mouth.

[Mom... I have been thinking but... Do I really have to go to school...?]

The mother was surprised at the sudden question, but then she nodded to herself and acted like she was expecting this.

[Mom...?] He was curious about his mother's behavior as he saw her, and then she spoke with a smile.

[I wasn't expecting this... no, I guess I already knew... You have always been way too intelligent for your own good]

He widened his eyes as he listened to her.

[What, are you surprised? It's obviously not necessary for you to study anymore... You already have perfect grades in school even while spending all the day with me, and from what I heard from your teachers you don't even pay attention to class... I even thought about the same thing as you before...] She talked as she looked at him in the eyes.

[I guess I didn't bring it up because I wanted you to have a normal childhood, Although we are definitely not normal. But I thought that you could go to school and make friends of your age... But if you don't enjoy it then I can stop you from going to school]

After that happened they continued talking, although the mood wasn't as good as before. And when she was going to stand up his mother suddenly felt a sharp pain in her back.
