I looked at Anas while he was fighting with the dragon.

Anas was better at fighting than I expected, I could have probably left the dragon a little less harmed, although Anas would be struggling a lot more if I did that.

Hoh, Anas is using essence? It's the first time I've seen him using it, It's interesting seeing someone else using essence, most of the beasts around here can't control it properly, although the dragon is also very good at using it.

If Anas is intelligent enough the dragon will be defeated quickly, I won't let it run away and due to the injury I gave it it can't attack properly, although it can still kill most of the beasts I've seen in this world.

Anas grabbed on to the dragon, It's already over.

Anas can't go around eating raw meat for the rest of his life so I better teach Anas how to cook now.

If I use a little bit of essence i can control them freely, and I made sure to make these blades the sharpest they can be so I should be able to cut this easily.

I butchered the dragon until there was nothing left of it but bones in the body and started separating the meat in fillets ten meters away from the bones.

I examined the organs and found that there seemed to be a small heart that was filled with essence.

Huh, this heart is able to generate essence instead of absorbing it, which means that even if I was back in my old universe I would still have access to it, without having to absorb it from the atmosphere like I've been doing until now.

That's good, I could explore other universes while still being able to use essence without worrying about using all of it.

Though I still haven't finished exploring this planet, let alone the universe.

I could eat this meat but it won't be any better than not eating it for me, so I better give it to Anas.

Anyways, let's cook.

First, use essence to hit the ground and make a big pit.

Then clean the dragon scales and meat, and then use the scales to wrap the meat inside it.

Then put the wrapped meat inside the hole in the ground and close it off by burying it.

It was a underground oven.

I then used essence in a way I never did before but I knew would work.

I started generating heat by using essence, until it became high enough for the meat to start cooking.

I didn't use any spices but it would still be better than eating it raw.

Anas looked at me and said:

-five hours later-

Edric digged up the meat and took a block of one cubic meter.

He decided to try something new in order to store the rest of the meat.

He imagined "space" and used essence, thus creating a dimension that had enough space in it to barely fit all the meat.

He then tried moving the meat there and managed to do it, but he spent all of his essence and felt a weird sense of emptiness.

[Whoa! where did all the meat go!?] Asked Anas.

[I put it in a safe place, so we don't need to leave it to waste] Replied Edric while he unwrapped the meat from the dragon scales.

There was steam coming out of the block of fillets, and a captivating smell came alongside it even though there weren't any spices in the meat.

He looked to his left side and he saw the dragon skeleton, and then wondered what to do with it.

He took a fillet and gave it to Anas, who bit into it happily.

[!!!!] Anas widened his eyes in shock and then started bitting quickly.

(Haha, Anas looks so happy) Thought Edric.

Anas looked at Edric and then spoke.

[Edric, You eat too!!]

Edric laughed.

[Anas, I don't need to ea-]

[No!!! Eat this with me!]

Edric sighed, and then chuckled.

(I wonder when was the last time I ate something...)

[Fine then, let's eat together. But first let me do something]

Edric used essence to lift the ground and make a table and two chairs, alongside plates and cutlery.

They both sat down on their chairs and had a meal together.

Anas was for the first time in his life eating cooked food and using cutlery, Enjoying the experience and making sure to remember it.

And Edric was eating for the first time in a long while.

They both enjoyed the meal.
