1 Prologue

The world was peaceful, with Humanity moving to greater heights with their technologies. Finally, the first Super AI was going to get introduced, with society taking its next step.

But nothing works smoothly without any disasters. Humanity was able to go through various disasters in ages and still survived. But this one was not like any other.

In 2040, many gates opened on the Earth, putting everyone in turmoil. The fear of the unknown made them panic.

Various governments made special forces look at what the gates had inside. Canada was the first to send their troop.

It took many hours for them to return, which was not straightforward. More than half of the troops gained supernatural powers even scientists couldn't understand after various experiments. Finally, they said they could see a Blue screen in front of them telling how strong they were in numbers. And it all started after they killed the beasts inside the gates now known as 'Dungeons.'

Years passed with many beasts invading the humans, world-changing powers that changed the world map we know now.

Many artifacts and powerful techniques were found in the dungeon to hone Humanity's skills for the future.

With stability in the dungeons' control, Humanity was becoming stronger daily. A power ranking was made to make the world yet normal again. It went like this-

Beginner Evolved

Intermediate Evolved

Expert Evolved

Master Evolved

Grandmaster Evolved

Beyond Evolved

There could be more, but Humanity hadn't reached that level yet.

The world's leaders changed, with the most powerful at the top. Powerful people could now overcome the limitations of their race, which was the lifespan. Many people could now live more than a few hundred years which made them see their whole future family tree in front of them.

----------

"Hey! Kill this bitch fast! My mana is going to get depleted real quick." A skinny guy said with a magic wand in his hand. His left hand was already cut, spurting blood every time he moved.

"Claire! Heal him; he will not survive the raid at this rate!"

"I am trying. My mana stat dried out; I do not even have any mana potions left!"

"Tsk"

They all were part of a Beginner evolved group trying to clear the low-level dungeon on their own. But the problem was that the dungeon became dangerous, not something some beginners could handle.

The skeletons in front of them did not feel pain. They just kept attacking the human revolvers without fearing death.

Out of the four people struggling, one young man was the only one looking to surpass his limits with many broken ribs, severe internal bleeding, and many outer wounds. He had no chance to live after his adrenaline rush, but the only thing in his mind was.

'Survive'

He killed another skeleton in one strike with his standard sword. His equipment was also not worth looking at, the lowest grade gear one could find in the market. His leather jacket got torn with only one strike of the skeleton.

Since then, he was fighting, the group did not even remember how many skeletons did they even kill, but it indeed amounted to a couple hundred.

'Well, my dog-shit luck always moved against me,' Kyle thought while bleeding heavily and still fighting.

[Pain resistance level up!]

'....What's the use now' It could be said that the pain was less than before, but the only outcome was him dying. Too much blood already got spilled.

THUD!

He looked back and saw the group's healer on the ground, her head slightly open and oozing blood.

"MARY!" He shouted. He always had a crush on her, but due to his introverted personality. She was taken by someone else.

"Fuck! I can't stay here!" A guy with specs said while trying to run. But alas, he did not see the skeleton thrusting the sword in front of him.

It pierced the shoulder. Another skeleton also took advantage, stabbing Kyle's gut. Just like that, around ten swords were inside him. It was just too pitiful to look.

'Well, I am no different.' The tenacious man finally dropped to his knees with a sword in his neck. He could see the skeleton looking at him without any emotions, just the empty eye sockets with a tiny red flicker of light in them.

The other guys just accepted their death after seeing the tenacious man die; he was the strongest in their group.

'Heh...I don't have anyone who will remember me anyway,' he thought.

He could not feel his Body; the area around him was blank.

'Sigh...when will I die?'

'Wait, am I going to stay just like this for eternity?!'

He started panicking, with no sense of time; it was like many hours were already passed.

'Hah,...I have become delusional.....no maybe senile'

After several notifications, he was finally feeling sleepy.

After several hours, he finally woke up.

"Fuck...what a headache," He said, trying to scratch his head, but it made a sound as if striking something solid.

He opened his eyes and froze; a skeleton was just in front of him, moving without even looking at him.

'The fuck?'

He tried to go for his sword, which was not with him; looking down, he felt like some joke was playing on him.

'Bone'

Yes....his hands were made of bone. But still, there was a sword near him. Feeling rage filling his head, he equipped it in his bony hand and slashed it at the skeleton near him.

The sword swung heavily, cutting its head in one go.

[EXP +10]

'Hm...EXP?'

Everything was confusing, but one thing was clear.....he was alive.

'Status'

His eyes became wide looking at the ridiculous status plate in front of him.

"Haaa.....me and my dog-shit luck" The voice came out hoarse but understandable to some degree.
