Bonus Chapter: Caroline

"You remember me?" Kyle asked with a smile.

"Well, how could I forget the person who got me a salary increase."She said with a dazzling voice. Something told Kyle that it was genuine this time.

"Then, I should at least get the name of the beautiful woman in front of me," Kyle said with a wide grin.

The receptionist became a little surprised by the sudden request and the smile. She looked at her co-workers who were working without worry. After looking everywhere to know if someone's looking, she came a little close to the table near Kyle and went on her toes to get near his ear. Her big bosoms showed a little cleavage through the white t-shirt due to this action. She put her hand near her mouth and whispered "Caroline".

Kyle's eyes were glued to her golden dazzling eyes, she was just too cute! And even on the level of Alicia. He desired to just give her a princess carry and take her to the dungeon.

"Then, this will give you a better response. I have come to sell stuff that are better than the first. Hell, you might even get a promotion this time."

Caroline's eyes shone with excitement. She covered her mouth with her small hands to prevent the squeal from trying to get out of her mouth.

"Mr.Kyle, come with me, the manager said that if you come back with a big batch again, then I can take you to her directly."She said and touched a button, the small door near the table opened and Kyle with a smile followed her. They reached the same warehouse where Kyle could feel the aura of various strong creatures inside the many boxes stacked together.

"I will call her, you can unload all the stuff you would like to sell inside that circle," Caroline said and went briskly towards the other side of the warehouse. Kyle went to the big circle and first unloaded the daggers first. Kyle always got mesmerized when he saw the things just come out of the inventory. It never gets old.

The circle shone and some numbers started glowing above on the screen.

'150'

The daggers were worth 150 gold coins, it was a little less but Kyle could say nothing about the advantage of the trashy weapon. He could break it with a finger, this was how weak it was.

"It's been a long time, Mr.Kyle." An elegant lady came walking toward him. She was not as mesmerizing as Caroline but that mature aura around her made her look pleasing to the eyes.

Kyle nodded towards her with a smile, then came the exciting part. He took out all the goblin's bodies. There were 2 Hobgoblins in it while all the others were just goblins.

The manager looked at Kyle with a grin.

'I was right about him.'

The circle's outline shone and at last, the screen showed a new figure.

'410'

'Yess!' Kyle screamed inwardly. This was good money as he could kill the goblins within seconds.

When both Caroline and the manager thought it was over, Kyle took out 5 Boss weapons. It consisted of, 2 shiny long swords and 3 clubs.

At last, the screen showed yet another number which was final.

'1050'

"...Damn." A whisper escaped Caroline's mouth that did not go unheard by Kyle. The manager frowned at Caroline, they were taught to not let go of their poker face whatever the situation.

"Mr.Kyle, you brought a bigger batch yet again....and alone, quite fascinating." She said.

"If you have the time, I would like to talk about future business with you. I can give you the payment for this in my office too."

Kyle didn't find any problem with it, he wanted to make connections in the town.

He followed both the ladies to the manager's room. On arrival, Kyle saw a big chair, a table, and two chairs as usual. There were some decorations here and there. The manager went and sat on the big chair, it looked royal and Kyle saw it with desire. His habit of taking the good chairs from the other dungeons was reflected here. He and Caroline sat opposite the table waiting for her to speak.

"Let me introduce myself formally, I am Felicia Gytha, the manager of one of the many branches of the guild. My authority is just below the guild leader."

"Kyle Hudson, a wandering dungeon explorer."

Felicia looked at him for a while with a serious face and finally sighed.

"And do you plan to leave soon?"

"No, I am here for a year at most." Kyle lied, he wanted to see what Felicia wanted to discuss fast.

"That's great! Strong evolvers like you never stay in this small town saying it has nothing. If you really want to stay here, then I can make you a special contract. You can do the special dungeons that are not shown normally."

Kyle's eyes shone in excitement, special dungeons?

"What type of special dungeons?"

"What we show to the normal evolvers are the average dungeons where species like goblins, zombies, and orcs reside. They all are below level 10. But the special dungeons are some rare ones. There are about 3 of these special dungeons present in the territory which is in the jurisdiction of this branch's guild." She stopped and waited, wanting to make the point clear.

"We have about 4 dungeon explorers with talent like yours, they all are members of the team that will take down these dungeons. If you accept to sign the contract, I will tell you the details and I will fix a meeting with the members for you."

'Hm...this is getting interesting.'He thought.

"Can I know what creatures are there to make them so special?" Kyle asked with anticipation.

"I can't tell, but I have to say, if you take this challenge and succeed, your status in this territory will increase and so will your strength." She said making Kyle's ears perk up.

'I came here to make good relations with this town and I get this opportunity? Such good luck.' Kyle snorted inwardly. His luck had been going well since he completed that devastating orc dungeon.

"Where do I sign?" he said with an ear-to-ear grin.
