Journey to the Land of Snow

"You... were sent by my father to protect me?" Lying in Furen's arms, Koyuki Kazahana was a bit shocked after seeing Furen use Ice Release.

It had been a very long time since she had seen anyone use Ice Release. In Koyuki's mind, apart from Doto's men, the only people who could use Ice Release were those associated with her father.

"Are you really someone my father left to protect me?" Koyuki's voice trembled slightly. Despite running away from the Land of Snow for so many years, she had always thought of her father.

"My name is Furen, Tsukiyo Furen," Furen introduced himself.

Furen opened the door and carried Koyuki inside. Haku, who had been waiting at the door, quickly approached when he saw Furen come in.

"She's the princess of the Land of Snow, Koyuki Kazahana," Furen said as he gently placed the sleeping Koyuki on the couch.

Turning around, he saw Koyuki's hands tightly gripping him. Her body, as if mimicking a water snake, wrapped around him, clinging to him with a warm and intimate embrace.

"The princess of the Land of Snow, huh?" Haku lowered his head, curiously observing Koyuki.

Furen reached out and patted Haku's head as he began explaining Koyuki's story and the mission Team Kakashi had recently accepted.

"Are you going to the Land of Snow, Furen-kun?" Haku asked.

Furen nodded, "I want you to come with me to the Land of Snow. There are many users of Ice Release there."

"Ice Release?" Haku's eyes lit up.

"Before we head to the Land of Snow, I need to establish a suitable identity for myself and Haku," Furen thought to himself. Then, he turned toward Koyuki and silently uttered, "Mind Body Switch Technique."

With a slight haze in his mind, Furen's consciousness entered Koyuki's.

"I need to understand more about the Land of Snow," Furen muttered as he began retrieving Koyuki's memories of the country.

After gathering the necessary memories, Furen released the Mind Body Switch Technique and returned to his own body.

As soon as his spirit re-entered his body, Furen realized he was no longer sitting on the couch but lying in bed instead.

"Well, there's no helping it..."

On the boat bound for the Land of Snow...

"Miss Fujikaze Yukie, it's almost time for your scene," came an urgent knock at the door, bringing Koyuki back to her senses.

"I'll be out as soon as I finish my makeup," Koyuki called out to the person outside.

"Please hurry, Miss Yukie," the person replied before leaving.

Inside the room, Furen was leaning against the wall. "Princess Koyuki, are you ready?"

Sitting on the bed, Koyuki nervously squeezed Haku's hand, who was sitting next to her. Her heart was unsettled.

"Furen... Are you really confident that you can defeat Doto Kazahana?" Koyuki asked.

Last night, Furen had used the Mind Body Chaos Technique to influence Koyuki.

"Trust in Furen and Haku's identity."

Furen had also attempted to give Koyuki direct commands, like "fall in love with Furen," but none of these commands worked. They were all rejected by Koyuki's mental defenses. In the end, Furen opted to subtly influence her instead.

He convinced Koyuki that he was the descendant of a subordinate her father had left behind to protect her and that Haku was a ninja from the Land of Snow. Together, the two would help her reclaim her throne. With that belief, Koyuki boarded the ship with Team Kakashi, heading toward the Land of Snow.

"Of course," Furen replied confidently, then turned his attention to the system in his mind.
