Luxury and the Garage

Although Ye Chen understood, the high annual property management fee still gave him a headache. To put it bluntly, the money he had on hand was barely enough to cover the property management fee for a year.

But now wasn't the time to worry about that. Ye Chen needed to familiarize himself with the villa first. The first floor was primarily occupied by the living room and a swimming pool. Yes, there was an indoor swimming pool.

The living room area was particularly impressive, extending up to the third floor, creating a grand, spacious feel.

The swimming pool was quite large too, six meters wide and twelve meters long, taking up more than seventy square meters.

The lifestyle of the wealthy was beyond comprehension. Many people dream of owning a sixty or seventy square meter home in the capital, yet here, someone had used that much space just for a swimming pool.

There were few rooms on the first floor, only four, which seemed to be servants' quarters. Besides these rooms, there was a storage room.

Then came the kitchen and dining rooms. There were two kitchens, one for Chinese cuisine and one for Western cuisine. Similarly, there were two dining rooms, one for Chinese and one for Western dining.

On one side of the villa, there was a garage, but Ye Chen didn't go in, planning to check it out later.

According to the property certificate's images, there was also a basement. Ye Chen went down to have a look, finding it completely empty.

Next was the second floor, which had more rooms—seven in total, each around forty square meters.

Of course, this was just an approximation. Some rooms were slightly larger, others slightly smaller, but the difference wasn't significant.

The third floor was simpler, having only one bedroom. The rest of the floor comprised various other rooms, such as a gym, billiard room, and entertainment room. Additionally, there was another swimming pool on the third floor, even larger than the one on the first floor.

This swimming pool was on the terrace, but its usage wasn't as practical as the one on the first floor. This pool could probably only be used in summer, while the first-floor pool could be used year-round.

After checking all three floors, Ye Chen went outside. The villa itself occupied less than 500 square meters, but the total area, including the grounds, was over 6,000 square meters.

This meant the yard was more than ten times the size of the building. From east to west, it stretched over seventy meters, and from the southern gate to the northern end, it was more than eighty meters.

This place was massive, especially considering it was within the Second Ring Road. Just five hundred meters west was Financial Street. Owning such a villa here was incredibly extravagant.

There was enough space to build a high-rise residential building comfortably.

The yard was beautifully landscaped with rockeries, fountains, pavilions, and even a pond. Behind the villa, there was also a garden.

On the western side of the villa's first floor, there were three garages. Ye Chen opened them and found no cars inside, which surprised him.

There were three car keys on the coffee table, so he had assumed there would be three cars in the garages, but they were empty.

"Wait, what are these buildings for?"

In the southwestern part of the villa, about five or six meters away, there was a row of single-story buildings. When Ye Chen first arrived, he thought they were storage rooms.

But thinking about it, that didn't make sense. No one would put storage rooms outside, especially when there was already a storage room inside the villa.

Ye Chen walked over and found these buildings had electric doors, just like the garages. He opened the first one, immediately realizing what it was for.

It was another garage, and there was a car inside, covered tightly so that he couldn't see what kind it was.

There were four garages in total. Ye Chen opened them all and found cars in three of them, with one being empty. So the cars were parked here.

Ye Chen quickly ran to the first garage and uncovered the car. His eyes lit up when he saw it.
