CHAPTER 5 ETERNITY

At At the place where Drake was seated, even when they attacked with their full power, the spot remained untouched. Drake sat calmly in his chair, unfazed by their efforts.

"Master, should I follow them?" Eric asked.

"No, it's okay. They should learn why this forest is known as the Forest of Never-ending. I'm sure they'll return within four hours," Drake said with a smile.

"Are you sure about it, master?" Eric questioned.

"Yup, I'm confident. Do you want to bet, Eric? If they return, I win; if they don't, you lose," Drake proposed.

"Alright, master," Eric agreed, a mischievous smile creeping onto his face.

"So, master, if they don't return, can I have a week off?" Eric inquired.

"Alright, but if they return, your workload increases tenfold," Drake replied, sealing the agreement.

The echo of painful cries from the monsters reverberated through the forest.

"Hey, Geneviever, why are there so many cyclopes?" Ava asked, irritation clear in her voice.

Geneviever surveyed the scene, where five cyclopes lay sprawled around them. Each monstrous creature had a horn protruding from its head, its dark green skin stretched over a muscular frame comparable to that of an elephant.

"Yes, these garbage are really irritating," Ruby agreed, frustration evident in her voice.

"Come on, guys, we need to get out of this forest fast," Olivia urged, her words punctuated by the dark fire that engulfed two more monster bodies.

"We've been running for almost three hours, and suddenly these fucker-type monsters show up out of nowhere!" Ruby exclaimed, her punch landing squarely on a cyclops, shattering its body.

"Alright, let's move forward," Shopia said, dispatching the remaining monsters with ease.

"I think we're in a maze," Geneviever said, her expression serious. "We've been running for almost three hours, and we still can't reach the border of the forest."

"So what should we do? We can only move forward, right?" Normia questioned.

"Yes, let's keep going," Geneviever answered determinedly.

As they moved towards the direction of the border, the mist began to gather around them, gradually thickening with each step. After another 30 minutes of walking, the mist had become so dense that even their magical eyes couldn't penetrate it.

"Everyone, stay alert," Genevieve said with a serious expression as they walked further into the mist. A voice could be heard:

"La la la~ la la~la~la," a musical-type voice started echoing around them.

"This voice... it can't be," Normia said as they got closer to the source of the voice.

"Hey guys, are you thinking the same thing that I am thinking?" Normia said

Yes this voice is of that man!

"Welcome, my wives. How was your walk inside the garden?" Drake said with a smirk as he sat on a chair. It was the same place they had fled from earlier.

As they stared at Drake, realization dawned on them. It was indeed his voice echoing through the mist.

"How... how is this possible? We definitely ran in the opposite direction," Olivia said with disbelief.

Hey, you! How did we end up here? Tell us now, before I crush your skull!" Ruby shouted angrily.

"Hmm, crush my skull," Drake said as he vanished from where he was sitting and appeared in front of Ruby. He slowly caressed her cheek as he moved his mouth towards her ear and whispered, "You can't crush my skull because you are weak," he said teasingly.

Everyone was stunned before they could make a move, he again vanished and appeared at his chair.

"I give all of you one last chance. It's up to you. Will you accept it? And as I promised before, I won't harm any of you. I kept my promise. If I didn't keep my promise, you all will... I think I don't need to say anything more. Now, will you accept it?"

The girls exchanged hesitant glances, silently communicating their concerns and doubts about Drake's offer.

Genevieve spoke up first, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "But what about our freedom? We can't just be bound to this forest forever."

Ava nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we need to be able to leave and return to our kingdom. That's non-negotiable."

Ruby crossed her arms, a determined expression on her face. "We can't let him dictate our lives like this. We need to set boundaries."

Sovernia chimed in, her tone firm. "I agree. We can't allow ourselves to be trapped in a situation we can't escape from."

Normia spoke softly, but with conviction. "We have to think about the bigger picture. Our kingdom is depending on us."

Shopia, the voice of reason, offered a suggestion. "What if we agree to his conditions for now, but with the condition that we'll find a way to break free later?"

Genevieve considered Shopia's proposal, weighing the options carefully. "It's risky, but it might be our best chance at getting out of this situation."

But you have to accept my three conditions., which are written in the contract. And as I said before, drop a drop of your blood, and we will be husband and wife for eternity," Drake stated.

This Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of [Date] by and between Drake, hereinafter referred to as "Husband," and Genevieve, Olivia, Normia, Sovernia, Ruby, Ava, and Shopia, hereinafter collectively referred to as "Wives."

1. Acceptance: The Wives agree to accept the proposal of Husband, subject to the conditions outlined herein.

2. Freedom: The Husband agrees to allow the Wives the freedom to leave the forest upon completion of the conditions outlined herein.
