Chapter 10

I tried to stand on my own, but my weakened knees refused to let me as Trev deepened his kiss. I dug my nails into his shoulders to keep from falling. I was instantly worried that I had hurt him, but if the growl that rumbled out of his chest was any indication, then he was enjoying the bite of my nails.

Trev's tongue brushed across my lips, momentarily asking for permission before forcing its way in whether I would have given it to him or not. I would have, but I loved this side of him. This side of him knew exactly how I wanted to be taken and would demand nothing less than my surrender.

My body began to hum as my blood pounded through my veins like molten lava. I moaned loudly when his tongue plunged inside and rubbed itself against mine, sending shockwaves through me.

A loud clearing of a throat caused us both to jump, and I pull away guiltily. Trev turned slowly to face his sister, who was sporting a wide grin on her face. I felt a flush of mortification spread across my cheeks.

“Hey, big bro, get a room!” Lizzie smarted off to him.

A giant smirk appeared on Trev's face as he looked her up and down. “I really hope you don’t talk to your men like that.”

One of the men behind Lizzie snorted, then got an elbow in the stomach for his scoff. He seemed to double over in pain, but with the demure look and nod that she gave, he must have whispered something in her ear.

It became obvious that this was one of her Masters. Since I had never met him before, it had to be Jack. I knew Jordan well enough, having seen him at the club a few times.

I took a closer look at the second man and realized he was Master Kevin. I had only met him once or twice, but I knew his reputation well. They called him Alpha at the club. He had earned that title because he was the only Master who had a Domme submitting to him. Alyssa was a tough-as-nails switch and Kevin had quickly earned the other Doms’ respect when they found out that he had earned her submission when so many others couldn't. He truly was the ultimate Dom, and he scared me a little... a lot.

But he was not looking at me, thank goodness. He was staring at Bethany with almost a predatory look. What made matters worse was the look on Bethany’s face. Almost like he was a piece of rich chocolate that she wanted to devour in one bite.

“Bethany,” I snapped.

The trance they seemed to be under broke and she turned her attention back to me. Embarrassment stole over her cheeks having been caught checking out a married man.

“Oh, don’t give me that look. As if you weren’t just shoving your tongue down Lizzie’s brother’s throat,” Bethany hissed defensively.

I was thankful that she had kept her tone quiet enough that no one else heard it. I was very aware of the fact that I had practically thrown myself at him right in front of everyone. Feeling distinctly uncomfortable, I tried to pull away from Trev, who still had not managed to leave my side. The arm he had around me tightened and did not allow me any further than an inch away.

“Lizzie, do you know Vie?” Trev asked pulling me over to her.

I pulled the bottom of my dress down, suddenly very conscious of the fact that it was tight and revealing and the fact my hair was probably a mess now…. And the huge gash that was more than likely still bleeding down my cheek.

Lizzie was wearing cute shorts and a t-shirt, even the fact that her bandages peeked out a bit didn’t detract from her fashionable, adorable, look. Next to her, I probably looked like some kind of beat-up prostitute. Trev grabbed my hands to still them when they ran through my hair for the fifth time.

“Vie, stop. You look beautiful,” Trev chastised me.

His words melted me, and I gave him a shy smile in response.

“Hi,” Lizzie greeted me, finally breaking in. “I’ve heard a lot about you from Bethany when she used to come to the club.”

“Bethany has spoken a lot about you as well,” I replied quietly, unable to help the feeling of uncertainty.

I looked back at Bethany hoping that she would burst into the conversation and save me before I said something stupid. But she was once again staring at Kevin. Obviously, I was getting no help from that end. Lizzie gripped my hands as if I were a long-lost friend causing me to jump a little.

“I’m so glad to see my brother with someone. I think he’ll be a lot happier and stay off my case so much. I’ve already got two men telling me what to do, I really don’t need a big brother,” Lizzie joked.

Trev stiffened next to me as if her statement had bothered him. Giving Lizzie a weak smile, I pulled my hands out of her grip and slid closer to Trev wanting to comfort him. He gave me a grateful look before turning back to his sister.

“Lizzie, would you mind keeping Vie company while I speak to Jack and Kevin?”

“Of course not,” Lizzie responded happily.

Out of nowhere Jack came back with a few more chairs and gave Lizzie a pointed look. She sat down without argument, a testament to either how well she listened to her Master or how tired she was.

Satisfied, the men stepped out of the room and out of earshot. I know because I strained to hear what they were saying. With no luck, I tried to listen in on the conversation that Lizzie and Bethany were having. But my mind kept whirling with memories of what happened.

The urge to run away and hide under my bed became more and more prevalent until I couldn’t sit still anymore. I jumped up and raced out of the room without a backward glance. Vaguely I heard my name being shouted, but I paid them no heed.
