105 The right thing to do

Jinhai silently stared at Nana waiting for her answer.

"I was thirsty and the jar was empty. The twins are sleeping and I didn't want to disturb them so…"

He said nothing. He didn't let her go either.

Nana's heart was thudding loudly in her chest.

She flushed and nervously looked here and there.

Jinhai raised his eyebrows.

"And how do you plan on going back with your hurt ankle? Bumping and falling again?"

Her mouth twitched. I did come all the way here by myself!
