Alex and Shonen continued their fierce battle, locked in a stalemate. The air crackled with energy as their powers clashed, creating shockwaves that rippled through the Fictional Vortex. Alex, sensing the prolonged nature of their fight, spoke up, "I think it's time we end this fight, don't you agree?"
Shonen smirked, his eyes narrowing with a mix of defiance and amusement. "What, are you getting scared that you will lose?" he taunted, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Alex cracked his joints, a dark aura beginning to emanate from him, swirling around him like a tangible force. "No, I'm going to end it," he declared.
Suddenly, Shonen felt a pang of fear as the dark aura around Alex intensified, casting long shadows across the surreal landscape. "It's time to end it," Shonen said, raising his sword high. He unleashed his most powerful attack, "Fiction Splitter," a technique so potent it could erase anything that existed in fiction it had a dark aura surrounding it. However, using this attack would sever his connection with the creators' world, leaving him vulnerable.

Alex caught the attack with his two fingers, the sheer force of it causing the ground to tremble and crack beneath them. Shonen's eyes widened in shock. "How!" he exclaimed, disbelief etched across his face.
Alex's eyes glinted with a knowing look. "Oh, I think you know. I've been waiting for you to break the connection with that world," he replied, his voice calm and confident, a hint of satisfaction in his tone.
Shonen, realizing his predicament, tried to maintain his composure. "You still can't kill me now, I will come back when the connection is restored," he said, his voice tinged with desperation and defiance.
Alex's lips curled into a devilish smile. "You think I don't know that? Of course, I can't kill you, but…" With a swift motion, Alex ripped out Shonen's heart, the action swift and brutal. He then punched him to the ground, leaving him in a vegetative state. "That was a long fight," Alex remarked, his voice filled with a mix of exhaustion and triumph.
Suddenly, Romance appeared, her face stricken with grief. She ran towards Shonen, repeatedly saying, "It's my fault," as she cradled his head in her lap and started crying. All the genres watched the scene unfold, their expressions a mix of shock and sorrow.
Romance looked up at Alex, her eyes pleading and filled with tears. "Hey, I will leave you alone, please bring back my brother," she begged, her voice breaking with emotion.
Alex ignored her request, his expression cold and unyielding. Desperation filled Romance's voice as she continued, "Aren't you scared of your novel readers? What will they think of you?"
In an instant, Alex appeared near Romance, his face contorted with anger. "I just don't care," he said, his voice low and menacing. With that, he turned and walked away, leaving the devastated Romance behind as he returned home.
