84 The Mythical Land 10

The people in the people are in disarray. It has always been this way whenever the beast started attacking the temple.

What's more nerve wracking is that the temple master left to meet some guest.

Today is another full moon that's why more beasts keeps roaming outside.

This is a critical days for these old people in the temple. They needed to defend their home with these overpowering creatures.

"Oh, God. Protect us!"

Liu Qing dug his dagger right at Cerberus forehead. Sensing the upcoming attack Cerberus avoided to the side but one it's head eyes was then targeted by Liu Qing's dagger.

All three heads wail in agony.

With a swish, Cerberus falls.

Liu Qing's hands were bloodied. Noticeably, his nails are long and sharp, the size of a dagger.

The group of centaurs runs towards him. Their eyes red, wanting to make the human into shreds of pieces.

"Master! Summon me!" An excited voice shoot up from his mind.

"Let me have my fun first, White."

The white tiger pout inside his contractual space but still obeyed his master.

"Okay."

A young woman sat in the dark corner of the room. Golden pupils glistening from the darkness. Her delicate wrist and ankles chain, even her slender neck wasn't spared.

She's wearing a white bloodied dress while her black long hair covered her tiny face as she shrugged her knees in the corner.

She had been staring at the door, waiting for it to open again. She wanted to see the light so bad. She doesn't want to be in the darkness.

"Li Wei..."

Her chains sounded when she move around. She looked in the entire room to find the voice.

"Li Wei, where are you."

She remain silent.

"Answer me."

"I'm here." Li Wei softly answered. Her throat sore due to the shackled huggung her neck.

"Where?" The voice sounded again. Li Wei heard this many times before. Again and again. Every time. Everyday.

"I'm here." She repeated.

"I'm coming for you. Wait for me."

"Huuu...uuh" A loud gasp escaped from the room.

At the same time, when she woke up. Liu Qing was staring at her peaceful face.

At the moment Li Wei open her eyes. He saw the life leave her beautiful warm ray eyes. The brightness of her eyes dimmed lifeless, even if she was nod dead.

"Wa...water." She mumbled.

She have a feeling. A feeling that she was revive from being dead.

The people around was still dumb shock when she just suddenly woke up. Old man Cheng just finish his diagnosis that she was in a coma. Her steadied breathing returns earlier when Old Man Cheng conveyed his spiritual qi to Li Wei's forehead and then check her vitals again.

The Old Man had just finished speaking that she's in a coma when Li Wei suddenly gasp and sat up from the bed.

Liu Qing brought her some water. The snot on Qi Shuang's nose stop dripping when Li Wei woke up. Meimei and Feng An's darkened expression turned to shock. Meimei's eyes turn teary and Feng An stop his tears to fall. He was a man, he doesn't like to cry in front of everyone.

"Young miss! You're awake! Thank goodness!" Meimei cried out and jump to hug her young miss. She missed her so so much. How could she sleep without breathing? She practically died when they entered the temple the other day.

Old Man Cheng didn't sleep overnight doing his best to wake her up. When he found out something is amiss, he immediately transmitted his spirit qi to her. If not, Li Wei's consciousness could have been taken away!

"Huhuhu." Meimei cried in her arms. Li Wei awkwardly patted her in the back.

"Didn't I tell you? You cry, when I'm dead." She smiled that didn't reach her eyes.

Her time here in this world getting short. Sadness filled her heart. It was truly unfair. She have gain friends but sadly, her time is short. Li Wei knows her heart well. Yesterday, she felt her heart painfully beats and stops again and again. Her body felt like it weren't her own. She was scared since she had the urge of killing the people inside the carriage.

She painfully controlled herself. And when she felt like the pain is lessening. With a tick, her heart stops never to beat again.

Ora looked extremely pale. Her body trembled and beads of sweat trickled down her face.

Disbelief written all over her face.

She can't believe that her connection to Li Wei snap.

She was trying to find her exact location but something was hindering her on the other side.

Due to that, she only find her location but not the exact location on where she is!

That child woke up the instant their connection broke!
