Li Wei answered him with a smile yet not a smile.
"How about we hype things out secretly?" She whispered. A flashed of cunningness revealed in her eyes.
"So, what's the plan?"
"Nothing extraordinary. I just wanted to scare them. How about cascading them with daggers?" Li Wei lowered her voice so only Liu Xu can hear about her plan.
"Okay, let's go. I'll follow you." He stands up and brought her to a dark corner. Liu Xu opens his spatial ring and gives her 15 daggers. He also gave her a facial skin mask.
Li Wei looked at the ring with envy. She doesn't have any cool ring like that! And what kind of mask is that?! It looks so real!
The mask has a delicate countenance of a young boy and looks very feminine that you can call him a 'flower boy'. Still, she wore it without any hesitation. Grabbing the dagger in his hands, Li Wei throwing them in succession.
Her hands move swiftly with precise, locking onto her target. The people in the arena almost didn't survive the raining daggers, targeting them both.
Li Wei pulled out her own daggers inside her robes. 5 daggers in between her fingers and throwing them like an expert assassin.
Liu Xu watched her. A flashed of glint in his ink-like eyes. It was because...the way Li Wei threw the daggers is very similar to how White Rose throw her roses.
Even her slight movements of her body are the same as hers.
Below, the crowd is getting excited from what's happening in the arena. Two beautiful girls struggled to avoid and deflect the dagger.
Their silk robe are rip and torn. Their white skin showing, blood dripping from their wounds.
These two didn't expect the sudden attacked. They just wanted to show off from the man they like. They didn't want to die! The dagger keeps coming like there's no tomorrow. It was endless.
After keeping their life for almost 3 minutes that felt like an hour. The dagger has stopped. The cheering of the crowd has died down, replaced with an eerily silence.
The dagger came from the same location. When they looked up, they didn't see anybody, giving them a creepy vibe as they look in the dark corner.
"I can't believe they escaped death." Li Wei disappointingly said, looking at the situation below. She smiled when she saw the daggers covered the entire stage of the arena. It looks so beautiful. Except that there are two people standing there. Her smiled immediately became a frown.
"I'm surprised you have so many daggers inside your robe." Liu Xu eyed her entire body. Where did she store all of that dagger from?
Li Wei answered him with a mysterious smile.
"Are you satisfied? The two look so wretched."
"Not really. Let's go. Let's take this time to get away while the people are distracted. I want to go somewhere else."
The couple stealthily walks outside the arena. Their next location is a busy shop. A store that contains different kinds of weapon like swords, bows, spears. They also sell some armors and different kinds of herbs. In short, the store has it all.
But nothing attract her attention. What she wanted is the kind of ring Liu Xu have. She wants a spatial ring that can easily store things.
She felt really poor and ignorant in this world. There are still things she didn't know!
Just as they were strolling around, Li Wei notices a shop with no customers. Liu Xu followed her line of sight and parted his lips to speak.
"You want to go there? Rumors say that that shop is a scum."
"Really? I wanna see."
If it's scum does the owner still want to sell something in this dangerous city? If he is scamming people, he would definitely in danger.
Just like the other shop, the shopkeeper sells weapons, armory, and herbs but what caught her attention is the only egg displayed in a square glass box.
It looks like a chicken egg, except that it's big, like the size of Li Wei's head.
Noticing the girl's stare. The shopkeeper gently smiled at his new customer.
"Young lady, this is a beast egg."
"Beast egg?" Her brow knitted. This is the first time she heard such a thing. In their original world, there's no such thing as a beast egg. All the animals all died because of the people, domineeringly using their magic to torture them and used them as a sparring match.
